The best restaurants serving British food in England

Tuvimos el mejor servicio y la comida era deliciosa. Tuvimos un poco de espera para nuestro plato principal, pero esto fue visto antes de que lo señaláramos y fue rectificado inmediatamente. Sin duda lo volvería a visitar.

Went here for lunch today and I have to say it's my favourite place I have eaten, not just in Henley, but in a long time. The food is first class and the service and restaurant itself was very good too. I had the tartiflette and it was delicious. The portion sizes are very fair (some may say big!) for the price. But it's not just the food, the whole restaurant feels like it has been put together with love, care and real thought in all aspects. The food is incredible though. They are making homely food that you want to eat but with incredible skill and touch. I'll 100% be back.

Had a quick stop for some dinner on the way home. As is Sunday a carvary was on the menu which seemed great. However, food was bland. The gravy is out on for you on the plate before you are allowed to put your vegetables on. I asked politely if I could have it on after my vegetables had been put on my plate and was swiftly told I could but would have to go to the back of the queue again! Why is it they can't offer small just of gravy if it's such an inconvenience to have him put it on after? To be honest it's like water with crumbs of meat in so not worth the drama anyway. I have eaten many carvery's in the local area and this is by far the worse i've had by far.

Two seniors on their way up to Scarborough saw the road sign and decided to stop off for a light lunch. The pub looked delightful from the small village road and our welcome was fine. We opted to lunch in the main bar, and service was slick , polite and the staff pleasantly dressed in their 'sort of' uniform. We only required a very light meal, but the menu provided was certaily full and many options were available. We opted for cheese on toast, with a salad garnish and chilli jam, plus a single portion of chips. The meal arrived in a short time and was very well presented, with the 'jam' cooked into the cheese. A very pleasant stop, and certainly a pub that we can recommend, although in our opinion the pricing at £23.00 for 2 x Rarebit is certainly on the full side !!

Absolutamente increíble, fuimos por el brunch sin fondo con mis amigos, buena comida y hermosos cócteles, nos atendió El absolutamente maravillosa persona. Ella era increíble para ayudarnos y espero que ella y Mailbox tengan un gran día.

Lovely catch up with friends. Food delicious, lots of choice and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will be returning and would definitely recommend!

Had a lovely meal at the restaurant for my birthday. The food was absolutely fantastic and the portions were huge. Definitely worth another visit or two when in Aylsham.

We have spent a week on the Broads eating in pubs most nights and this place was head and shoulders above the rest. The food is really good pub fare, well prepared and presented but most importantly the staff are happy to see the customers rather than treating us as an inconvenience. We had a great meal and an enjoyable evening

Just how a restaurant should be we were there when all these young people who were from Sheffield football were good mannered and cleared up after themselves,

Drove 30 miles to find it closed until 31sr May. Would have been handy to put it on the website. Went to a local establishment instead. Saddened.

Security who do there job, good food and decent staff . Facilities are ok stayed over quite often no complaints.

Really enjoyed my visit. Was served by a very friendly and genuine Abdu, who really looked after my fussy friend. True gentleman, knows how to deliver an amazing memorable service. Food was nice too.

Fabulous Sunday lunch, very tasty pork and beef, and very generous portions. Service was excellent and we were thoroughly well looked after by Phil. Highly recommend.

Recommended by our b&b for breakfast but we decided to check it out the night before for tea! Hubby and I both had crab salad with house pickles......one of the best crab salads we have had. The pickles were amazing, crab was lovely, if a tad small. Staff friendly. Absolutely can recommend. We went for breakfast next morning and had superb full English...spot on again with food and staff.
