I celebrated my birthday at The Five Fields with my family while visiting London, and it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant exceeded all expectations—exquisite, extraordinary, and truly exceptional. To all the staff, thank you for your hard work and dedication; you’ve created an experience that will stay with me. I would love to return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience!

Estábamos emocionados de ir a casa de Sally Clarke ya que habíamos oído cosas tan buenas. Nos recibieron en la puerta donde les expliqué quién era y que estábamos aquí por el cumpleaños de mi esposa. Nos llevaron a nuestra mesa y el camarero simplemente puso los menús delante de nosotros. No feliz cumpleaños o reconocimiento entonces o durante toda la noche. Habíamos mirado el menú en línea, pero encontramos que el menú de la noche no tenía dos de los elementos que queríamos tener. Nuestros entrantes eran bastante agradables, nuestros platos principales de lenguado y ciervo eran excelentes, pero nuestros postres eran bastante decepcionantes. La factura final era al norte de £ 200 - muy caro para nuestras comidas y un par de copas de vino. El servicio era lento e impersonal.

Got a biryani and a slice of jam coconut sponge. Cant describe how good it tasted lost for words. What really took it to the next level was the customer service from yasin. Made me feel at home and took time out to make sure everything was spot on despite it being busy. Would defintley reccommend

Food as expected from star restaurant. Menu too long, too many supplements Wine service of a bygone era. Why is there a separate bar?

From start to finish this was an excellent experience. Really helpful on the phone and managed to squeeze us all in. Arrived and greeted warmly. We ordered fish and chips, chicken in honey and mustard sauce, sea trout, cottage pie plus panko prawns as a main. Everything was well presented and good size portions too. Better than that, however, was the taste - not one bad thing said about any of the food and in fact everyone was impressed with how good it all was. Hand cooked chips too which were delicious. Two of the party had dessert- sticky toffee pudding and Baileys cheesecake - again no complaints and lots of compliments! So if you want great tasting food, good sized portions and a fantastic service and atmosphere then what are you waiting for? Will definitely be back very soon.

Lovely venue, great food, and friendly service. The music was a little bit loud for a family Sunday lunch vibe but otherwise great venue!

Nous sommes allés à ce restaurant le 12 avril à midi. Nous avons pris trois menus. À 35,50 livres nous avions une entrée un plat principal et un dessert. Mon épouse a pris comme entrée une terrine de macro fumée avec toast ma fille, un soufflé au fromage et moi, une terrine de foie de volaille avec toast. L’entrée de mon épouse et moi-même était copieux, mais malheureusement nous avons eu droit qu’à une seule tranche de pain grillé, je trouve par rapport à la portion des entrées, ils auraient pu mettre deux tranches de pain grillées. Nous avons demandé à la serveuse si on pouvait en avoir un peu plus de pain grillées, elle nous a dit normalement, on n’en donne qu’une tranche, je trouve ça lamentable mais à part ça tout était bon il y a aussi le serveur qui a pris la commande mais qu’il nous a pas demandé si on voulait du vin

Hemos cenado en Petrus y sabíamos que este era uno de los restaurantes favoritos de Gordon y por eso reservamos. No nos decepcionó... necesitamos decir más. No probablemente, pero sin duda la mejor comida que hemos tenido, insuperable!

Pub located around 15 minute drive from Shanklin on Isle of Wight. Big car park. Nice traditional English pub decor and very welcoming owners and staff. Food is great quality and reasonably priced. Sunday roast dinners were really excellent. Highly recommended.
