This is one of the best spots for coffee in Westward Ho!. Their coffee is delicious and on a nice day, it’s lovely to sit outside and enjoy with a flapjack (which also are beautifully made). Cabana offers a range of breakfast and lunch on the menu and there are vegan options too. Very highly recommend. As a bonus they also run the coffee van on the Northam Burrows!!! From their facebook: Cabana is open daily from 8.00am serving speciality barista drinks including Matcha and Chai. Our breakfast menu is also available from 8am daily. Lunch menu including flatbreads and salads from 12 noon. Eat/drink with us on our terrace or take away

We have visited this little coffee shop multiple times now, more recently over the last couple of months. We did visit when it first opened on maybe two occasions, but have just started calling in again. Firstly if there was a GOOD on TA, I would have chosen this above average, however there isn't and I don't quite think this coffee shop is quite at very good level yet, although it could be. Positives first, it is a quaint little coffee shop, opposite the cinema which has parking. They offer a small but nice selection of breads and cakes. They also do very nice lattes. It is a quiet unassuming little spot, somewhat too quiet, which doesn't always shout out welcome. We have only come across a gentleman (possibly the owner) and a lady when visiting, both very cordial when we approached and ordered. Although I do have to say, they don't really engage in much conversation, and I have to agree with some points from a previous review. You don't necessarily expect any in depth or full blown conversations, but the atmosphere they create is very much akin to library staff environment. They aren't rude, yet aren't/don't come across as very friendly or welcoming. It's very robotic. I think more interaction and engagement with customers would be so much more welcoming and appealing to encourage customers to revisit or recommend their business. I would also have the music a 'little' louder when it is on. It hasn't always been on, or it's been so low you cannot hear it and the atmosphere is again, like a library, you can hear a pin drop. The above is not to criticise, just to give honest feedback on recent visits. Try it yourself and form your own opinions.

Excellent all day breakfast. I must avoid gluten and they were fully aware of the issues. Not GF bread otherwise would have been 5*. Friendly staff and clean, spacious modern interior.

Amazing food and cakes (including vegan options). Great staff very friendly and helpful. Dog and walker friendly. Loads of little crafted souvenirs to buy, lots made by Julie. Great little find. Would definitely return.

You can easily miss this great little cafe, tucked away at the bottom of Cator Lane. It's well worth finding. Coffee is excellent, panini are very tasty and some creative decor in a building that I remember as a builder's merchants many years ago.

The food was very tasty. The pig cheeks were stunning as was the steak. I found the house red wine very expensive but overall I thought it was good value. We had 3 people sat on a table clearly designed for 2 even though we booked in advance for 3 which made eating a challenge. We did ask to be moved but they weren’t able to give us a proper table for 3 which did frustrate us a little bit. I would definitely come back despite a few issues we had

Step back in time to a proper village pub, locals all chatting and having a great time, friendly and happy. So lovely to find a place off the beaten trap to relax and have lunch

Your service was unacceptable today. We were treated very rudely, like outsiders and ignored on quite a few occasions. Not only that but discrimination towards a friend of mine who had an accent, that even the waitress walked away from us mid sentence on ordering! It's unprofessional not to be able to accommodate a simple request like splitting the bill. Then saying "I'm too busy, pay and go". When asking the manager politely to follow instructions he refused and said the same thing and rushed off. He kept giving us dirty looks as well. They pretended to not speak English to us and when there were other locals they recognised they spoke to them nicely, but treated us differently. This place shouldn't be open if they can't communicate with people properly We will not be returning due to the poor service and discrimination we received. They were extremely lucky to get £15 out of us... We had the right to not pay after that experience.

Micropub serving church hanbrewery beers in half or 2/3 pints and also selling their selection of bottled beers. A limited amount of seating available in the covered market. They also serve wine and freshly baked pizzas in the adjoining units

Lovely staff, lovely food and lovely atmosphere. Always welcome and definitely our go to for any occasion. They have a lovely selection of vodka, gin and cider! Their specials are also delicious. Update: They now stock Hawkstone - even the new hedgerow cider. Delish!

Most likely the tastiest ingredients in the entire city. This place is perfect in every way.
