We both visited this garden centre while visiting the area, although the building could be doing with updating I kid you not this place is well worth a browse for the keen horticulturist, you may just find plants that are seldom available in mainstream garden centres, we found the staff to be pleasant, attentive and helpful, it also has a small cafe/restaurant with ample parking.

dont be put off by a cafe in a wooden hut. it is lovely and clean and the welcome wonderful. we perused the menu and decided on a corned beef salad and a bacon, mushroom and tomato sandwich. my salad was huge with4 chunks of celery,4 pieces of cheese, 3 slices of corned beef, plenty of cucumber, tomato slices, radish lettuce fresh onions sliced green peppers and mayo i struggled to eat it all. my husband had a delicious sandwich too a teapot of tea was provided with yorkshire tea and was filled up again later. the owner had made himself a quiche and when we inquired if we could have a piece to takeaway he boxed us a piece which we had for tea at home we will go again when we visit hornsea from our home in bridlington altogether a pleasant experience with an attentive owner. the price came to £10. and £2 for the slices of quiche, what a bargain!. give this place a try. you won't be disappointed

Set your Sat Nav to find this amazing little café, The attached garden centre is very nice but the cafe is the star of this visit. It was our fist time here but it certainly will not be our last! Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Visit here when you have plenty of time as the good quality food is freshly cooked to order so there will be a wait before it arrives but you will quickly be served with your chosen drinks and this is a perfect location to spend a little time relaxing and chatting. Tea and coffee are refilled at no extra charge if you ask and the cooked food is piping hot and delicious, I can highly recommend the all day breakfast and am looking forward to trying other dishes, especially from the Chinese menu. Such a refreshingly different experience, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Went to Randa Sunday morning for cuppa on way back from shopping at Skirlington market. Realised Randa now had Chinese menu. Therefore booked to return later same day for dinner. Food definatly got Wow factor. It was absolutely delicious. Ray and Fiona were very friendly, and attentive. The meal was authentic Chinese and so tasty. Meals were generous portions and great value for money. The cafe is very clean and is decorated nice. It had fresh small vase of flowers on each table which is a very nice touch. Will definatly return soon.

We had a lovely lunch time meal at Randa Garden Centre near Hornsea. The man, who cooked to order what we wanted, was really friendly, we had a Workman's Dinner Time Special each, mine was bacon (nice and crispy) egg, chips, beans with a breadcake and very large cup of coffee which was refillled free of charge. Hubby who can't eat meat had double egg, chips, beans and breadcake with the same large cup of coffee. Price £4 each!! Honestly this little gem is so near where we live and we didn't know it was there until I spotted a post on Facebook, we shall definitely be back. The garden Centre has plenty to look at as well so I brought a plant home.

We were looking for somewhere dog friendly for lunch after our visit to Wandahome in South Cave. The owners were really welcoming and it was nice and cosy inside on a cold day with the fires lit. As it was a Sunday we opted for the Sunday Roast. It was a tough choice though because the menu is fantastic! The drinks menu is equally as good as the food menu too. The food came out in good time and was one of the best roasts I’ve had in a long time! We managed to squeeze in some deserts and can definitely recommend the chocolate brownie and the sticky toffee pudding. Service was excellent and our pup got lots of fuss too. If you’re in the area and are looking for great food and drink in a lovely atmosphere, then this is your place! You won’t be disappointed.

Afternoon tea was amazing. Delicious homemade food. Surpasses more famous afternoon tea destinations. Excellent value for money.

We stumbled across this little gem on a Saturday late afternoon. Fabulous pint of Marmalade Porter followed by a gastronomic extravaganza of small plates…..all amazing! So good we cancelled Sunday lunch plans and are returning today! We have eaten at Michelin starred places on many occasion and this food is right up there but in a relaxed environment and very reasonable. We have found our new fave place for our visits to the east coast and will struggle to go anywhere else now. Would highly recommend 🙏
