Amarettos in Shepway

We thoroughly enjoyed the honeycomb icecream , it had huge chunks of honeycomb you will never find elsewhere! AND the signature Amaretto flavour is just right, just enough flavour without being too strong. This little shop is perfectly located near the beach, train, fair & car parks. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Look forward to our next visit .

Avoid all the crappy Mr Whippy ice cream and grab a cone here. Nice selection of flavours, at decent price. £2.30 single scoop.

We’ve been coming at least once a year for 6 years now. Both our children have had their first proper ice creams here. We always get excellent service and the most yummiest choice of ice cream flavours. Definitely the best ice cream outside of Italy I have ever tasted. Local made too!

We were passing this shop and decided to pop in. So glad we did. Such a wide variety of flavours, all good as we did manage to try more than one each. If you are not sure they are happy for you to have a taster. The staff are friendly and patient if you cannot decide which flavour to choose.

Delicious ice cream in a waffle cone, I had the salted caramel, while my wife had the chocolate devine. The service was kind and happy!

Overcharged for three ice creams. Two were over-creamy but just about okay. The third tasted distinctly off. Polite request for refund/exchange for the latter was aggressively refused.

It’s a very little shop so only one group can go in at a time, but the ice creams there are just so delicious and have a large range of ice creams to choose from, not to mention reasonably priced. We ended up going again to try more of the flavours and it was just as good again! I was looking forward to visiting here this year. Upon my first visit to here in May 2017, we visited with family who live in the area on a Tuesday at around 12-1pm. Unfortunately they were closing up and so I couldn’t have an ice cream, so settled for an ice pop instead. The owners seemed friendly enough (pretty average really), but did not seem all that apologetic. The shop itself looks fantastic - fun and quirky, with what would seem to be a large array of ice cream flavours available. This year (May again) - I visited on a nice warm, sunny day and there were lots of people around Dymchurch - only this time the shop wasn’t open at all! Such a shame as would have liked to have visited here.

Quite honestly there is not another ice-cream I can compare to this. Creamiest and most flavourful ice-cream I’ve ever tried. I got a 2 scoop cone, salted caramel and honeycomb crunch, and as soon as I took my first bite I was in heaven. This may seem too excited to get about an ice-cream but what can I say. TRY IT! Only around £2.50/£3 for 2 scoops if I remember correctly

I have always loved ice cream and never really ventured away from chocolate but today I tried Amarettos bubble gum ice cream and I'm afraid I may never have a chocolate ice cream again . Amazing i went back twice. . Friendly service . Well done guys and stock up on the bubble gum will be back . X

We dropped into this parlour and we were spoilt for choice they have so many flavours of the most delicious local made ice cream served in authentic Italian waffle cones the staff were friendly and happy to talk about the local farm where the ice-cream is produced a stones throw from the shop so not only the best icectream ever but Eco friendly footprint. The parlour is at the far end of the high street just past the funfair but were the few steps extra to get a quality ice cream.

My daughter bought us all an ice cream from this shop yesterday when we visited Dymchurch. Wow, it was amazing. Not only was there an amazing selection, but the lady and man in the shop were very pleasant, jolly, helpful and patient too. Even though they were very busy they had time to wait for my grandson to taste a flavour before making his final choice. As for the ice cream it was truly scrumptious:-) they even had tutti frutti flavour which I haven’t seen for years. We will definitely return here at some point in the future. Unfortunately we live a long way away so can’t be frequent visitors.

We visited on the way back to the steam train as a family. We had been to the beach for a few hours and were having an amazing day.

Nick and Caz will always offer a warm welcome and an exciting range of ice creams. The Simply Ice Cream selection is amazing and the quality unwavering. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

The owners of this ice cream shop experiment with flavours and make their own ice creams which are reasonably priced. There is no seating. Give it a try.

What a friendly, helpful couple serving in the shop today. Not only did they dish up some splendid ice-cream (with flake for me!) but they sorted through all of their 50 pence pieces to come up with the celebratory Peter Rabbit coin that my daughter has been trying to collect - and gave it to her in our change. Many thanks; we will be back!!

Nice obliging staff. Good, clean and plenty of choice. Shop is a little small. All in all great place.

Possibly some of the best ice cream I've tasted (especially the coconut) really creamy. All served by friendly staff with a smile!

Stopped off here for an ice cream after hanging out on Dymchurch beach. The ice cream is amazing! The owners told us it's specially made for them by a local farm, so you can't buy it anywhere else. (Shame, but also a good reason to go back one day!). They also do 'Mr Whippy' style ice cream, and sticks of rock.

I'm not a huge ice cream fan but stumbled across this while cycling in Dymchurch, we both had the Honeycomb single scoop. Possibly the best ice cream ever ever ever! If you're in the area, forget Mr Whippy, head straight for this place, it's well worth a visit.

Have had ice creams from here several times now but never written a review. The ice creams are absolutely delicious and there are plenty of flavours to choose from. A must visit when in Dymchurch!

Me and my partner came here for the first time, recommend by a friend to find the best ice cream ever. We both had the one scoop of chocolate in the waffle cone with a flake on top, and we were amazed! We will definitely be coming back again!

What more can you say other than delicious! They offer a great selection of toppings also - I think my 4 year old had all of them at once! Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable and were able to answer any questions that we had.

As a family we agree this is some of the best ice cream we have ever had! Locally made and sourced, made with cream and natural flavours. Staff were also very friendly. Must visit if in the area!

Visited location today with family. Nice selection of ice cream. Chose the rum and raisin which was tasty. Kids went for snow cones which were "really nice" by their accounts. Friendly service by both occupants. Prices were reasonable at £2 for waffle cone and single scoop.

Best coffee ice cream I have had, Coffee and Kentish Cob Nut, the honeycomb was excellent too! The ice cream is made locally at a farm. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Visited 3 times in 2 weeks. Delicious creamy ice cream. Recommend Lemon Curd flavour. Lovely people in cute little shop selling some toys and Nick knacks too.

I understand why as ice cream is obviously a risky thing to sell weather wise. But the range of good ice cream to go in cones is very limited. Local ice cream in tubs is lovely and full of flavor just think with totally awesome to have more

There is a large range of flavours, either in a cornet or a tub. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Two minutes walk up to the sea wall to enjoy it. We always take our visitors there and everyone loves it

We visited for the first time on Saturday and went back for a return visit the next day it was so good. The ice cream was excellent (especially the salted caramel). The staff were also really good at recommending the strobe the for my daughter who has several allergies and going through the ingredients with her.

Wonderful choice of ice cream for adults as well as for children. Many delicious flavours . Owners very welcoming and always ready to adapt to customers suggestions.

Stopped off for an ice cream on our return from a coast drive, our second visit. The quality is the same as our first time, so we believe warrants a trip advisor listing.
