On arrival we thought this looked a nice place for breakfast. We found a table by ourselves we waited then went to the staff. God forbid they actually looked after their customers and asked for a menu for breakfast to be told they have stopped serving breakfast and there will be an hour wait For the switchover of menu I am so pleased that they clearly with only three tables used could afford to turn down our family of five whom would’ve all had food and drinks. Sadly, we can’t come in on the food or drinks because they were too busy on their phones and talking to each other to worry about the elusive paying Customer

A disappointing experience. Previous visits have been great, but a new, short menu, predominately burgers, just didn’t cut it. I went for a well cooked, but unfortunately very bland fish starter, my wife had chicken nuggets, which had the benefit of a good spicy sauce. My Caesar salad consisted of finely chopped lettuce, the previously mentioned nuggets, cut in half this time, some rather good bacon bits and some really nasty woody croutons; topped with no more than two teaspoons of dressing. Service was good, but at these prices we were entitled to a good meal; we didn’t get anything like that, unfortunately.

My dad comes here every week for lunch, now they are open in evenings too he was keen to show it off! I'll definitely come back. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was delicious, and the portions left room for dessert. All in all a relaxing evening with good food and good views.

This place has been nicely decorated and staff are lovely. Setting is also just beautiful! However, that’s as good as it gets for us. I ordered tomato soup and whilst I like Heinz tomato soup from a can it’s not what I expected to get, i expected a nice homemade soup. Homemade soup is dead easy to do. My daughter had a baguette which was a bit soggy. It’s just mediocre to be honest which is a shame as I really would like a nice local place so would come often but I won’t bother. I’ll just bring a picnic in the future. We are severely lacking a good food place here so the owner is missing a trick here. Cakes look a bit processed and mass manufactured which is a shame and it lacks the homemade element like cake, scone’s etc. This is what sets the great cafes from the mediocre. Won’t be back which is a shame as I now have to drive to Acle as that’s the nearest decent place to eat.

Had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant a couple of weeks ago. What a gem of a place! Wonderful food, attentive service which made for a fabulous evening. And only had to wander back to our hire boat for the night. Perfect! Thank you Anya and Martin.

As they say, real people, real food. The Sunday roast was delicious, in really generous portions and very fairly priced. We felt welcome and well looked after. 5 all round. A no-nonsense genuine traditional pub with a sports theme and plenty of screens if that is your thing.

We discovered Prima Rosa by chance when cycling to Salhouse Broad. We popped in for a coffee and stayed for nearly 2 hours. My daughters were enchanted by all the sparkly things and the cakes were amazing. The cakes were so good that we went out of our way on our next ride to pick up supplies for the day.
