A fantastic bakery selling terrific bread, cakes and pastries. Cheese straws are a stand-out item. Staff are friendly. Car park needs some work (take care driving around it - massive potholes) but it wouldn't stop me going. Filled rolls are good (BLT is excellent) My favourites are the Eccles cake and Flapjack.

They make the Best cheese straws and nice big sausage rolls.

Best bakery by a country mile. Sausage rolls and cheese straws are amazing and my favourites. The bread is lovely and the Christmas Yule log is really good but you have to order that. A nice range of filled rolls too. There is plenty of parking outside the front. You can pay by cash or card

My guilty pleasure is a good traditional cake and sandwich which I will have a few of. Cheap and family orientated to ensure your needs are met.

Very friendly place, so many things to choose from and such great value!! We used another bakery that was almost double in price and didn't taste as good, so changed to this bakery when we moved and have been 4 times in the last couple of weeks, because everything is so tasty!! Very busy most of the time when we went past but I can see why, definitely our new favourite local bakery 😍 (highly recommend the apple doughnut!!)

Bought a Eccles Cake and Apple turn over,cut both Cakes in half to share, only to find that both had raw uncooked pastry at the bottom of both Cakes, Not good, this is the 2nd time of trying them.

Today 22/04/2022 I was looking for a proper bakery and I found this one only a couple of miles from where I live.i seen reviews and thought that is where I am going there where others but I chose fresh bake bakery. I purchased 2 sausage rolls at £1.60 each and a loaf of bread at £2.30 a total of £5.50 i thought that was expensive however after tasting the sausage rolls i was impressed they where lovely and I've had a slice of the fresh made bread with butter just to get the natural flavour of the bread that was far superior than supermarket bread. I've lived here over 21 years and never been here until today mainly due to not having my own vehicle and relying on public transport.however I have my own vehicle again and will come back to fresh bake bakery more often the only small criticism is there are no prices online or in store until you ask for an item it would be nice to have a printed leaflet of prices when purchasing and or put the prices on the website so that people can see other nice things that they can purchase and how much it costs. But I will be back again.🍞🍞🍞

The best bakery in town! The sausage rolls were out of this world 🤩 highly recommended. I first discovered them when a client bought a selection of pastries whilst working at their house. I just had to ask where the bakery masters were! Amazing! Truly deserved a great review 🤩

Old school bakery - nothing silly fancy, but good food at sensible prices. Their cheese straws are worthy of a visit alone. There's about 12 in a bag, and very cheesy! (Quiche is also delicious, and the Eccles cake. Not enough filling for me in the apple turnover though 😄 bread is fab) The baker in there has a good sense of humour, and will brightened my day with the cheery service!

Stale apple turnovers with no apple inside. Dry Eccles cake with thick pastry. Give this one a miss in future. Hope it improves as i love a good old fashioned bakers.

Fantastic selection of cakes, breads, sandwiches, pies and quiches. Their bread rolls are also a bit of a favourite of my family's, and their cheese straws are a must! The cherry bakewells are huge and delicious, and they also make flapjacks using a combination of oats and cornflakes which gives it a super chewy texture. Would wholeheartedly recommend this bakery!
