A great place to stop over near to airport. The food was lovely. We had lamb samosas to start, they were amazing. Then we had chicken makhani curry and a chicken wrap and chips. Everything was very nice and good value. The service was also excellent. In my experience, the low reviews are unfair.

Overall it was good but the meat portion sizes just made me feel I’d been robbed, everybody in the restaurant were talking and complaining about them they really were disgusting, off each meat the were about 3-4 inches long and about 1 inch wide and cut wafer thin I upgraded to large after seeing the portion sizes but the only difference between them was you got 2 sausages on the large for an extra £2 that’s £1 a sausage, I won’t be returning to Toby Carvery Darlington much better value for money at a pub chain

Called without prior booking to this quaint pub/restaurant in the centre of South Wraxall. Old building with low ceiling, but nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Delicious fish pie with butter mash and seasonal greens. Large pieces of fish 4 different varieties.

The food here is excellent, with flavors that are both delicious and well-prepared. The atmosphere adds to the experience, creating a warm and inviting setting that makes dining enjoyable. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, making it a great choice for a quality meal without overspending.

Visited yesterday lunchtime with a friend. The pub was quiet but the welcome from the guy behind the bar was warm and friendly. We confirmed that food was available despite being quiet and ordered drinks. We sat next to a window to enjoy the amazing view (and the torrential rain) while we waited for our food to arrive. It came promptly and both meals were excellent. Tasty. Fresh and good portions. Definitely worth a visit and we’ll definitely be back. It’s a gem.

He was just going to close but turned everything on and cooked us excellent fish and chips, thank you

We stopped here by chance as we had been delayed. We were a family party of eight adults. The staff went out of their way to fit us in and look after us. We had a combination of Jacket potatoes. sandwiches, cakes and homemade scones with clotted cream and Jam. I had the crab sandwich made with fresh whole meal bread filled with crab the freshest side salad and loveliest dressing. This review is late because I've been ill since returning from Cornwall but couldn't not review this amazing venue and highly recommend a visit.

Very disappointed in this order. The pizza was very greasy, the chips were the sharp ends, basically the ones no one likes. The kebab had an unusual taste and both garlic sauces were half filled. Would not recommend this place.
