Flamingo Patisserie in Eastbourne

Owner lied about what pizza he does. He told us it was the same as the photos on just eat and what a silly lie that was. He then went on to take the payment first. As i turned up to the restaurant i collected the pizzas and opened the boxes and they looked nothing a like the pizzas we were told that we ordered. I then respectfully asked for a refund as not only did he make the wrong pizzas he lied. He then went on to be aggressive and rude by demanding theyre not different and if it is becasue “the basil isnt on top”. He is a rude old man who is a liar and im warning all of you to not order anything from there!!! Photos to follow: Do not order from here. Honestly the one star rating is generous

would leave 0 stars if i could, called the restaurant prior to ordering to see if the type of pizza is the same as the just eat images (will attach photos) he said yes and took payment over the phone. arrived and was given what seems to be 3 asda pizzas but was charged £25 for them! took them straight back in and told the owner he had lied about the pizzas and he refused to refund. beware and don’t use this restaurant, biggest waste of money not even edible.

Visited for a light lunch. Clean and modern cafe, with a strange mix of food choices for a 'Patisserie'. More like a 'Take-away' with a cake option. Pleasant service and what appeared to be a straightforward menu with images of a few of the menu selections. I chose a 'chicken kebab, with rice', that looked very appealing with two skewers of breast of chicken, with a side of rice, roasted green pepper and whole roasted tomatoes...right up my street. I ordered a cup of tea, which was hot and refreshing. All goes well until the Waitress came to inform us that the white rice on the picture was actually not available, but brown rice was in stock....still fine! Until ...my dish arrived. It was a bowl of Bulgar wheat with 5 small pieces of hot chicken on top. NO SALAD, NO PEPPER, NO TOMATOES, NO SKEWERS AND APPROX 1/3 OF THE CHICKEN I WAS EXPECTING. NO dressing..just dry rice. The owner came at over at our request, and after a short polite conversation, explained'MY' error. I had apparantly looked at the picture, and expected what was on the plate, in the image I should have read the small print exonerating any resposibility for the menu not to be the menu! In fact if I had read correctly ..The Chicken Kebab was not actually a kebab at all. Even though the order was requested by asking the Waitress which picture related to which dish, and asking for clarification at the point of ordering. £22.00 For two hot drinks, a burger and jacket potato. Your choice if you wish to visit, but we will give it a miss!!

No puedo alabar lo suficiente este lugar, el servicio y la calidad por el dinero es, con mucho, lo mejor que he recibido en Eastbourne hasta ahora, una entrega rápida y eficiente a través de simplemente comer, todos apoyan a estos tipos que son geniales y lo recomiendo encarecidamente. :)

Best place for Turkish tea in Eastbourne. I can also recommend the baklava and falafel toasties. They are always very friendly and welcoming
