The best restaurants serving British food in England

A party of 17 attended who had various meals. Found service slightly a bit slow but put it down to numbers of clientel. I did not have a starter as nothing was on the menu that I liked the look of. Main was flat iron steak. Was a bit tough. Noticed there was only one toilet for everybody. Not what you can call hygienic.

They have absolutely the best hogspudding you can find in Cornwall. Order mine by post have to keep supporting the best. Expats know what's good for them

Amazing food. Arranged to meet family there on the way to Ashcombe. Really friendly staff, very comfortable and the best liver and onions ever. Would highly recommend.

Visited here tonight whilst we on a short break, absolutely delicious. We had 2 x standard cod, 1x standard chips, peas and curry and a sausage for the dog. The food is cooked fresh and was worth the short wait. The fish was pure white, nice batter and fresh chips, fantastic overall, plus the service was with a smile and friendly conversation

Lovely restaurant, staff are lovely and will alter your order if you ask. Food is freshly cooked and tasty. Go there regularly.

WOW! Just WOW ! These fantastic ladies serve up a fantastic breakfast in a fantastic location. Probably the best breakfast we've had on our many travels. We had the standard Full English with tea and toast and as we sit here writing this review we're still full at 19:00 in the evening (we ate at 09:00) ! Everything at Bee's is cooked to perfection - the sausages are the best we've had in a long while, the bacon is thick and so tasty, and then there's the delicious mushrooms, beans and fried tomatoes. Add in a proper brew of tea served in a pot plus toast with gorgeous creamy butter and you've got the whole full English experience. Three fabulous Rhodesian ladies who know how to look after their customers. Thank you so much. I don't normally rate meals but breakfast at Bee's is an 11/10. It's that good !

Went there tonight as was very hungry and couldn't be bothered to cook. Was quite busy and stood in the queue for 15 minutes and when it was my turn I placed order only to be told I would have to wait for 25 minutes or more. To say I was rather disappointed would be & understatement! Walked straight to never return again. Now sat waiting in another establishment that's just opened up the road.

Vegetarian breakfast, was V small but tasty :) the bread and sasuages in particular were really nice👌🏼 its only a small venue but it's quirky and a nice spot for Brunch/lunch.

A very friendly pub with good atmosphere. We went here for a funeral wake and the refreshments and service was exceptionally good.

We visited the hotel after its recent refurbishment and we had a lovely time. The room we stayed in was done to a really high standard and had a great view. The staff were lovely. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.
