Consistently unfriendly staff (many reviews attest to this) + hairy pastries. Word of advice, don’t work in customer service if you don’t like people and learn to take some accountability. Based off many reviews here on google, tiny bakery cannot accept their faults. Quit putting hair on the pastries why don’t cha! 🤡

It was my first time going in to Tubsy's the other day with grandparents although they have been before. Very friendly staff welcoming us in and taking our order. I opted for the gourmet chicken burger and fries and was actually asked if I wanted all the trimmings which was a nice touch. Normally the onus is on the customer to make such requests. The others had breakfasts as they have on previous visits. The food was delicious so no complaints there. Although I'm personally not a fan of eating out, I'll certainly be back to Tubsy's at some point in the future.

We had a lovely time, excellent food. In addition to seven courses there was cocktail with mocktail option, and petits fours. Amazing value at £35 per person without wine; limited choice of god value wine by glass or bottle. Neither wine flight nor pudding wine. Menu in attached photo. Small plates but adequate portions; delicious bread, I believe home made. Parking slightly difficult (it was a busy night at the Institute) and a longish queue for compulsory name badge. The students charmingly trying their best, no offhand service here. Service charge voluntary and I'm happy to pay it.

A lovely evening at Quince with friends. Staff were attentive but also gave us time to order, chat and enjoy the afternoon without being interrupted lots. My stomach is absolutely full and those charred vegetables I could eat everyday. Thank you for all your hard work and care - we will definitely be back soon. Excellent value for money.

Beautiful cafe and modern menu. I plumped for the Rarebit with poached egg with a pot of home made baked beans and a hot choc. Delicious! They make their own produce and the most crusty Sour dough bread. The outside of the building undervalues what’s inside. Well worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

An absolutely delightful place, with comfy sumptuous surroundings, fabulous selection of wines, welcoming staff who are courteous, professional and yet so friendly, oh.... and the food ? A divine menu with something to suit every taste, exquisitely cooked and presented. Most definitely a gastronomic jewel in the Ribble Valley crown.
