Attending a wake here, we were welcomed and served as if we were long lost old friends. Price of our cider and bottled 0% lager was truly surprisingly low compared to many other pub and restaurants. The toilets we spotlessly clean and probably the best in the West Midlands. As veggies we would suggest a label to show meat free sandwiches etc. Other than that we will certainly think about going back if in the area.

Happened to drop in to find a beer festival had just started. 7 modern cask ales, 4 real ciders and 8 craft keg. Every beer I had was superb.

A fantastic establishment ran by Dan and Amy. This pub is the place to go for real ale in the Stourbridge area. Fresh cobs, homemade sausage roles and scotch eggs made to perfection with a friendly welcome from all.

Food good on what we’ve tried and will adapt if you ask which is good …… very nice young lady Becky at bar and serving listened and was very polite and even tho she was asked to serve us in middle of us ordering she was very polite and professional serves with a smile ☺️

Quite lively for a Tuesday night. It has a nice aura to it, not as cosy as the plough up the road but definitely still a good part of Stourbridge. Only place that has Asahi on tap too! Comfy chairs and the three areas it has splits it up nicely, a small but serviceable pub garden to go along with it.

Came in here last night .... been in before a few times great pub,great beer not so great bar staff. A group of around 12 people were playing darts in the afternoon when we encountered the rudest member of staff in Stourbridge. She told us we couldn't play darts as there was children and other customers around ( other customers being the other group of 8 we were with sitting down) I told her she's just lost her self about £100 and she just shrugged her shoulders and laughed. Other staff (younger) apologised which we were thankfully for. Sadly this encounter has put a good 12 or so people off from going here again. Hopefully Madge from Benidorm will be on holiday next time we think about coming in.

Good real ale pub. Lots of space. Beers not so good now. Place needs a good clean especially toilets.

Great little pub outside of the madness of the high Street.

A great local pub on the edge of the Old Quarter, a short walk from Stourbridge town. Feels welcoming inside and has a little beer garden at the back. Not only do they have a great selection of beers on tap, but plenty of ciders too. They also have a great choice of freshly made cobs and savory pastries.

Good friendly atmosphere , good beers dog friendly pub, recommended.

12:00 Noon - I’m the only customer ATM so cannot comment on atmosphere. Split into 3 areas - craft ales in the back bar, cider to the right and cask to the left. Selection of 7 cask ales, my Paleface APA was a top class ale to start the day with.

Over the many years of my life on this Earth I've been to hundreds and hundreds of pubs throughout the UK and I've yet to find one that's better than this one. It's a good job I don't live closer otherwise I would be dead by now!

Always a decent pint here. Friendly staff and probably one of the most varied drinks selection in town now. From ales, craft beers and ciders they have it all here.

Bar staff are lovely in here. A very warm welcome. It's a shame that the beer wasn't in tip top shape when we dropped in. There was also no soap in the gents toilets and the advertised food wasn't available. A shame because it seemed like the locals really loved it and it felt like the centre of the community.

My go to place when I'm in the Stourbridge area. Good selection of drinks and a great atmosphere.

I use this pub with either family and friends occasionally. The beer is always good the food which are cobs etc are good value. The staff are pleasant and knowledgable about there ales and will give you a taster if you want. Inside is warm and comfortable and the smoking/outdoor area large and has heaters. Should use it more often really

Great pub just outside the ringroad. Staff were pleasant and there were loads of guest ales and ciders to choose from amongst the same old lager selections. Great spirit choice. Will definitely go again

Fantastic pub right on my doorstep, brilliant selection of beers and ciders, along with great staff. Such a shame its been forced to shut down for so long (along with other businesses) . Look forward to it opening again. It is now open and up and running again, yippee, looking forward to drinking the Ludlow Gold, etc. Cheers to Dan and Amy.

Brilliant pub - has stayed open to serve beer to locals via the medium of 4 pint milk cartons. This has kept many of us going with fresh beer rathe than bottles. In normal times a fab pub that keeps it's beer well. Many families use the pub early evening - well worth a visit.

Great pub & Cider Pub of the Year

We visited this pub as part of the monthly Cheltenham CAMRA ale amble. A convivial atmosphere; friendly service and a good selection of real ales made for a very pleasant visit that I would be happy to repeat when I'm next back in town.

First time here. Very nice pub. Relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly. Didn't try the food but there is a good variety of drinks including cider and real ales. Street parking at the front of the building. Will definitely be going back.

Such a great local. Lovely staff, nice feel to the place/space. I'm a smoker so mostly drink outside and I feel really comfortable and well catered for. Best of all is the beer. Well looked after selection of some great local ales and the usual fizzy alternatives. Always worth it.

Great pub! They have a huge selection of local ales and ciders and they have home made bar snacks including cobs, scotch eggs and pork scratchings. Highly recommended. The atmosphere is homely and warm

First time visiting this pub, we went for the beer and cider festival. Its hard to find good real cider in pubs by us so it was great to find one that had 5 on offer regularly. Nice pub friendly staff and not pricey

We encountered Friday night 31May the rudest bar staff member I have ever seen.

Called in at the weekend. What a great, friendly place, a proper local. The girls/ladies behind the bar so friendly, asking do you want a taster first. Recommended different drinks to try. We left slightly merrier than we walked in due to the 8.2% Cider :) My only negative is that the outside seating area at the back does really just become a smokers venue so non-smokers have to stay indoors, on a hot day why not make the whole area none smoking? Food for thought.

WOW ! Seven real ales on handpump and of the few I tried all in perfect condition. No fancy food just cobs (£3.00) and pork pies (£1.80). My cheese and ham cob was supposed to come with chips but no matter because the cob was huge and very tasty.Friendly and cheerful landlord. Recent makeover and the quirky ambiance has been retained.Spotlessly clean modern toilets and three bar seating zones.Some street parking which makes a change in car packed Stourbridge.A real ale paradise..

Lovely pub this is. Big choice of real ales and lagers. No music blaring out and a good friendly atmosphere. Quiz on Thursday night is good as well.

A cracking pub, very busy and has a great choice of real ales, ciders and other drinks. Home made pork scratchings, good choice of cobs, pork pies, scotch eggs, and on a Friday they do fish finger sandwiches. Outside there is a beer garden and also a covered area for smokers. Looking forward to our return there.
