Depending what Day u Go can be very busy Saturday and Sunday when nice weather, food is good service good location good

Enjoyed afternoon tea for 4 yesterday was really nice. Good value and highly recommended. In all was a delightful afternoon. Thank you very much

Me, My Mother & My Fiancè visited pub today, my mother and my partner had a breakfast which was outstanding! I had a fish and chips honestly was the best food we’ve had in a long time! We was served by a lovely lady named Jemma & she was fabulous! Attending to our every need ensuring everything was perfect!

Saturday Karaoke with Andy's Karaoke show is absolutely fantastic night, not to be missed. I haven't had the chance yet, but Friday nights entertainment is getting great reviews also. Give it a go and enjoy yourselves 👍

We only popped in for a quick sandwich in the bar area. We needed a place we could take our dog. The food was nice, service good and did GREAT coffee 👍

We phoned up to see if the cabin was taking bookings for Boxing Day dinner the woman that answer the phone was very grumpy.The food took an hour to come out, it wasn’t that busy. The pie was microwaved to within an inch of its life . The mother in-laws soup halloumi fries and the cheese ciabatta was cold. I told the grumpy bar staff I wanted my money back for the mother in laws meal and explained this is the second time we’ve been disappointed by the service and we’re going to use an alternative pub in the future and the reply from the barman was you do you mate? The manager couldn’t apologise inuf and gave me my refund but here bar staff have a lot to learn about customer service

My disabled daughter loves to come here to play pool. She doesn't like busy places but the Cabin is perfect. The staff were friendly and very helpful. She will be back tomorrow to her "best place" 😁

Nice enough place but could do with checking the whole meal is piping hot rather than just some of it. Dishwasher might need updating too. Not keen on using cutlery with previous customer's food dried on the prongs!!🤢

The food is always good at the cabin, but they have just started doing breakfast and it was amazing! Great food, great price and speedy service. Looking forward to many more breakfasts here

Enjoyed our first visit on Sunday…definitely won’t be our last. Lovely steak and ale pie (both had it) Service Excellent Slight error with bill but resolved and enjoyed 2 free games of pool Friendly people (staff and customers)

Nice atmosphere, drinks slightly overpriced, especially the soft drinks, fast pool table,met some friends who drink there and they said same thing.....

Basically like a reception class full of kids no thanks

Popped into the cabin with my daughter for lunch, I had a lasagne with garlic bread which was to die for, my daughter had a curry, everything was delicious, shall definitely go again, all staff were so friendly and pleasent... 5 stars from us

Brilliant pub, Great atmosphere, lovely staff.

Booked for birthday meal for 7 people when we arrived they informed us they were not doing food even though we had booked.staff were extremely rude and arrogant saying they tried contacting us which was a lie very unprofessional spoiled our day would not recommend using this place under any circumstances if I could give a minus rating I would.

Jimmy is the best landlord ever, great service, polite staff and welcoming, definitely recommend

We have visited from Ireland and this is like home from home, but cheaper. And Jimmy does the best long island iced teas. A warm and friendly atmosphere

I performed at this pub towards the end of last year and I also visited it socially on a karaoke night. I have to say it brought back memories of when my local pub was the place to go. It is a home from home pub. Great owners , prices of drinks were very reasonable and you are made to feel welcome by all the locals that drink in there. If this pub was on my doorstep , and boy do I wish it was , I would be there every weekend socialising with everyone. There is always something on of a weekend whether that is karaoke , a singer , bands or a DJ. Don’t find many pubs like this anymore. 🥰

I booked a table on Christmas Eve for 6.00 for 3 people and when we got there, there was no tables free and was told by the bartender as they was mostly regulars they couldn’t get them out. Was totally disgusted so definitely won’t go there again

Went there 4 weeks ago, food was very nice 👍 Went there today 8th January and had to wait an hour to be served, it wasn't that busy, ordered 3 curries hardly any Masala sauce in 2 of the dishes, no chutney with the poppadoms, don't think we'll be going there again🙄

Nice clean pub recently had a refurb

It's been many years since I've been here, and it was lovely, friendly staff, and the other customers were also friendly and made us feel welcome the food was lovely and tasty and recommend the Chick Pea & Sweet Potato curry delicious will definitely return very soon thank you everyone

Had a meal there about 5 weeks ago and was gorgeous. Steak on bloomer and friend had hunters chicken. It was all so good we decided to make it regular and returned. Well the experience this was awful. The steak was chewy and the bread was just 2 slices of run of the mill bread not a bloomer by any means. Couldn't pick it up it was soggy. Hunters chicken was dry and the whole meal wasn't very nice. Don't know if chef has changed but something certainly had which is a shame as like I said previously 10/10.

We had our engagement party here last night, what an amazing night we had! Thank you for letting us host our party here. Jemma, Tim & staff were amazing. Drinks are cheap too! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Jemma!

Nice friendly pub nice selection of food and drink.

Lovely friendly helpful staff, had the lasagne which was really nice but some aspects of salad were a bit dodgy to say the least, my partner had a fish finger sandwich which he just couldn't eat, the bread was really dry and fell apart when he took a bite also the salad on it didn't look to fresh either , but the staff couldn't have been nicer in bringing him something else from menu, he went for lasagne to and he wasn't charged the extra, salad looked ok but he decided against eating it, hence the 3 stars.

Lovely decor, No gamon tonight, so had hunters chicken, chicken hard and over cooked in places, very small piece, nasty dressing on the side salad, ask before putting on not everyone likes it, not much on the plate, more like a snack, got home and had to put something in the oven! Need to sort carpark out too, nearly broke me ankle, no we won't go again or recommend

Have lived in the area for 11 years and only went to The Cabin about 5 times. Tried it today after refurbishment and new owners. Well done guys, what a difference! Looks great, food and drinks good too. Will definitely be our local from now on. Highly recommend everyone give it a try, well worth it.

One member of staff behind the bar was very rude to me and a group of friends who were sat watching the football. Granted we were a little louder than usual just because we were reacting to the football. She had previously asked us to quiet down, which we had done but from then on she was watching over us constantly. And because we had no drinks with us at the time (we had previously already ordered drinks and intended to buy more) she decided to make that an excuse to ask us to leave as 'its not a youth club'. Pretty disappointing as the owners are a lovely couple.

I was born over the road from the pub, and have drunk there for over 30 years but alas the steady decline of the pub, everytime I go back in there nothing changes, the same old colour scheme and old fashioned toilets, it's sad to see as it needs to be updated and more modern

Coming into its own under the new ownership. Their other business keeps a good cellar and a decent kitchen, and you can certainly see the ales establishing themselves now. I kept away whilst the last owners turned the pub into a creche, but go regularly now.

Seems popular. Out door area. Kids play area. Big car park at front. In quite a quiet neighbourhood area but still accessible. Very conveniently near sheltered bus stop. Shops nearby including a fish and chips shop, pharmacy and news agent.
