Had a lovely afternoon tea. There was a lovely friendly atmosphere. The sandwiches and cakes were all fresh and delicious! Excellent value for money, we had to take some cakes home as we were so full!! Thankyou 🥰

Please check if you’re given a gift voucher. My 92 year old father had been given a gift for afternoon tea for two. Unfortunately due to illness he hadn’t been able to go and the voucher was only valid for 6 months. What a shame the venue wouldn’t extend the voucher.

We had seen the tea room a number of times having been to the nearby Oak Tree Dental practice but never made it in the shop till last week. Nice little store, well presented, clean, and friendly staff. The counter was full of stunning cakes that were made with care, the effort that went in to the detail on their Victoria Sponge made the difference. I returned home with a slice of triple layer chocolate orange cake and it was divine, moist sponge with the right balance of filling and the orange taste and scent was memorable. For the quality of the cake, the price was very good. The motivation for this business is a good one and more businesses like this can only be a good thing. We look forward to eating in and perhaps taking one of their celebration cakes for mine and my husbands Birthday.

This place is amazing. I visited with a friend for tea and cake. The cafe supports people with disabilities and is ran as a charity. The service is so friendly and there is a loving atmosphere. Other customers were having full lunches and the food being brought out looked delicious. It's definitely worth a visit. We shall be going back for seconds!

Ah, what a little treasure! Enjoyed two coffees and a slice of home-made (and very delicious!) coffee and walnut cake for the princely sum of £5.60! The place has a really friendly vibe, a beautiful enclosed garden and we were made to feel very welcome. The toughest decision of the day is which cake to choose .... 🎉😎

Even though it was raining we sat outside undercover we were served by a very friendly young lady. The food was good. I was shown around the workshop where they make quality goods for sale. The lady was so friendly and keen to show me. We will be back.

I recently visited with my son for a quiet lunch. The tea room feels welcoming and comfortable and the staff are so cheerful and friendly and cannot do enough to help. I asked for something which was not on the menu, this was no problem at all, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices here too. You can easily have lunch, coffee and cake for two people for well under fifteen pounds. I expected over twenty pounds for what we had! The tea room is very clean and made to feel traditional, it does this very well and is absolutely charming. My son and I both had paninis, which were piping hot and delicious, then coffee and walnut cake and carrot cake, which were easily among the best I’ve ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend this tea room to everyone, I cannot fault it in any way.

My rating is based on the service today - not the service we have received on previous visits. A group of us with our babies often visit for cake after a baby class that we attend in the village. We normally sit outside and the service is wonderful (so is the cake). However, today there were only 2 of us with pushchairs and it had started to rain shortly after we arrived, so we decided to go inside. The cafe was empty at this point. However, the lady serving was incredibly rude! We were told we can’t really accommodate pushchairs, ‘don’t block the exits’ and ‘you can’t leave your pushchair next to the counter where people order food’ we weren’t going to, but were stood there just trying to assess where to sit. At no point did she offer to help or move tables to accommodate us, she just seemed annoyed that we were there with our pushchairs. If it hadn’t been for the fact we had already ordered then I’d have left! We visit pretty much every week, so think it was disgusting to be treated like this!

My wife and I popped into Wollaston High Street for a bite to eat. We had heard about this cafe opening but had yet to have a chance to visit. We both had a lovely panini and a drink - it was incredibly reasonable! Under £10! So reasonable we decided to have a slice of cake each too. Delicious and fresh and as you can see from the photo huge helpings! The cafe was very peaceful and relaxing and the staff very efficient and friendly. They also have a garden outside to enjoy in the lovely weather and sell handmade items. All of this to raise money for a charity supporting disabled people. We will definitely be visiting again.

Just bought a hanging basket from here. It is better than any one I have ever had from a garden centre!!! My favourite Place!!

I have eaten at this tea room a number of times and each time I think how pleasant it is. Food is good and portions fair and the staff are always friendly and keen to please. It is nice that the tea room also supports the charity DiscoverU and this adds to its appeal. The interior is quaint and a little old fashioned, but in a good way, and is worth a visit

I have enjoyed this quaint little tearoom often. The service is always with a friendly smile, eager to please. The food is good honest tearoom fare. Cakes home made. In the summer we have enjoyed tea in the sun trap back garden. They also do some yummy freshly baked loaves and baps.

This place is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff are always smiling and friendly. We found out about this place when they had a stall at my daughter's school bbq. We spent ages looking at all the wonderful crafts for sale and talking to some of the people. We went to the tea rooms a week later and now it is rapidly becoming our favourite place. The food is delicious, the outdoor area is stunning and you could chat to the staff for hours... the only downside is you could spend a small fortune on all of the wonderful things made in the workshop

From the outside it just looks like an ordinary tea room, once you venture further, there is a large courtyard at the rear of the property and a huge workshop/craft area where you can buy gifts. Predominantly this place is run as a charity to help train adults with additional needs to gain employment (skills include sewing, cooking, woodworking etc). The tearoom is very quaint, well stocked with homemade cakes etc and has a Cath Kidston feel about it. The food is delicious, the staff are lovely - would recommend 100%.

Absolutely wonderful food and plenty of it. Had the salmon and chicken supreme. I wanted to try the Teriyaki; however due to pending permanent closure it wasn’t available. Lovely friendly waitress, great service! It is such a huge shame the council is closing this restaurant as it is one of the few upmarket restaurants in the area. I only found out about it after reading a press release regarding the closure. Perhaps with more publicity the restaurant would have had more success and stayed open.
