Stock at the Pavillion, Congleton Park in Cheshire East

Went for Mother's day lunch. Great atmosphere and welcome, with complementary fizz on arrival. The service was warm and friendly. The food was freshly prepared and excellent, especially the shakshuka special. Thank you to all the team at Stock for a wonderful relaxing lunch for a special Mum.

Been a while since we had brunch at Stocks it wont be as long again. We had some family over the weekend and it is the perfect place for a Sunday Brunch, great vibe. Such a beautiful setting with warm friendly staff who look after you from walking in to saying goodbye. Varied menu covering all tastes and always served beautifully, can highly recommend The Banging Breakfast Burger!! Could not leave without some homemade sausage rolls and some Lemon and Blueberry Cake to enjoy at home later. Thanks to all the team at Stocks, see you again soon!!

We have been for several lunches of late with family and friends and I would just like to say the food is delicious, really very tasty indeed and it was all cooked to perfection! Even the coffee had great flavour. The staff go out of there way to cater for your needs and are all very friendly and polite. Thanks especially to Em and Lisa for making us feel so very welcome.

Been here many times since my last review and called in this afternoon on a whim as my friend lives nearby. Was thinking coffee but came to my senses, it was Friday after all. Two pints of Peroni on the bench outside, overlooking the park in the vague sunshine. Lovely people, lovely place, happy days.

Fantastic food and coffee as ever, served by friendly and attentive staff who were upfront about the longer than usual wait. The wait is not such a problem when the food is so good and the place is so stylish.

Went with my son for his first Father’s Day, together with his partner, my daughter and my sons 4 month old daughter, as usual all our requirements were met to the full, high chair space for the pram. Service and food exceptional, can’t praise or recommend enough.

Beautiful and eccentric interior, so much for the eye to look at while chilling out. Staff were really friendly and kept us up to date on orders and wait times while they were busy. Ordered mostly breakfast items, all were visually lovely and tested great. Ingredients tasted fresh and nothing over the top. Treated ourselves to the biscuits on the way out too.

Well this is my new found tranquil place to visit , I’m on my own , I feel comfortable having food and a Drink here, the staff are wonderful make you feel welcome and at ease, honestly the best place to visit , it’s relaxing and the food is great, sitting on my own in this lovely cafe is so relaxing and gives you such confidence thank you keep up the great work ! Made a trip to Little Moreton Hall from Liverpool, the internet said this was the best place for lunch nearby. It wasn’t wrong, set in a beautiful park , very welcoming to adults, babies, dogs alike and doesn’t pack people in . Food amazing and very good value. Lovely, quirky setting . Thank you xx

Well worth a visit. Lovely cafe with an outlook over the park. Free car park by the river, cross the footbridge and you're there.

Discovered this recently near the end of a circular walk around Congleton and Astbury etc. It’s really good, if just a little quirky. (Like if you want an Americano with milk, don’t ask for one, ask for a white coffee instead, then you’ll get one). Anyway, the cakes were huge and the hot meals looked pretty impressive too. Some of the seating is totally comfy old sofas, some is 1950’s squeaky wooden chairs. Kiddie high chairs available. Decor is a little bit like Charles Rennie Mackintosh colliding with shabby chic, there’s coloured glass in the windows and stuff like old suitcases, radios, ornaments dotted about and even an old jukebox on the wall. Dunno if it works. Wait at front of house to be seated, table service (prompt enough), pay at the bar, friendly staff you can have a conversation with. Yep, love it, it’s good and we’ll keep calling in no doubt now we’ve found it.

I have got much to thank Lisa and her team for. They hosted the BEST 40th birthday party for me. Everything went so smoothly. Their service and friendly faces were outstanding. So attentive and help. They couldn’t do enough for us and made the night extra special. Excellent food & drinks. Highly recommended
