A wonderfully friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Bright and spotlessly clean. A wonderful wide variety of light bites, cakes and breakfasts . Specials board changes regularly. Great coffee. We love meeting family here and all our individual needs are always well catered for. Highly recommended.

I’ve been here a few times now, often for coffee (which is consistently good) and a couple of times for food. Tuna melt on MOST bakery sourdough is exceptional! Avocado toast and bacon sandwich is good value and very tasty. I don’t often love paying for a pot of tea in coffee shops, but here it’s served in a lovely glass teapot, loose leaf and worth paying for. The service is always good, very friendly and patient. It’s a lovely cafe just opposite Hale station. Definitely worth a try.

The Sunday roast was delicious, plenty of everything. I had lamb which was cooked well and tender. We were a party of six and no-one could fault it. Reasonable price too. The staff are lovely - friendly and attentive. We also attended a private event there, where a buffet was served. This was equally good quality and very enjoyable.

Myself and husband went to Barry yacht club to the compass bar & kitchen we were greeted by a lovely waitress who showed us to our table. The menu had plenty of choices at reasonable prices and catered for vegetarians. Our food came in rocket speed and was presented like we were in a 5 star restaurant! Mark and Jane the Chef's couldn't do enough for us always checking our meals were to our standards and every course tasted amazing and we will definatly be back again 😀 Thank you both for our lovely meals.

Situated in a small business park, nestled in the South Downs, I visit this cafe several times a month. A very good menu, with a warm welcome, indoor and outdoor seating and pets welcome. Open weekdays until 2pm

This was a lovely place for lunch. While I wish that the entire menu was vegan, so that we could have tried several other dishes, there were three things on the menu that were vegan (and the rest was vegetarian). My partner and I both chose a noodle bowl, with a peanutty sauce, and it was absolutely delicious! We followed up with coffee and some banana bread, which was equally delicious. Because it was warm weather, we were able to sit outside on the patio, which was really nice, and popped into a really sweet bookshop on the way back to the car.

This deli shop sells local farm produce and snacks to take away. Got our lunch and meal deal here with the hot item being a cheese and onion pasty. It was delicious and how a pasty should be. The filling is a lovely mix of mashed potato, onions and cheese. Even from the first bite, you can tell quality ingredients when into the pasty. The pastry was crisp and dry, the cheese and onion made their presence felt. The pasty has been properly filled out with mashed potato and doesn’t feel oily like cheaper pasties. A great lunch stop if you’re in Bourne.
