Restaurant at Orestone Manor in Torbay

I had our 25years wedding anniversary on 16th Aug, at the orestone hotel. Fab service excellent food, nothing to much trouble. 5 star review.

I took my husband here for an evening meal to celebrate his 70th birthday. The dining room has a lovely ambience and spectacular sea views. When we were shown to our table there was a card on it wishing him a happy birthday whim was a lovely touch! Our meals were delicious: flavoursome and beautifully presented. Before our desserts the waiter came out with a plate decorated with a Happy Birthday message in chocolate around two lovely truffles- a lovely surprise which he soon demolished! We finished with coffee and petit fours sitting in the lovely lounge - a perfect way to end a perfect evening! I can’t thank the staff enough for making my husband’s big birthday so special.

We stayed at this hotel over the Easter weekend. From the moment we stepped through the door and were greeted by a friendly smiling face, the service continued to be outstanding. The rooms we had were excellent. Clean and comfortable. We decided to eat in at the hotel and it proved to be a very good decision. The food was amazing. I have been brought up in, and then for many years worked in, high end catering which somewhat ruins my experiences of staying away from home as they are so often disappointing. This time however there is not a single criticism to be found. Very well done to the whole team at Orestone Manor, you made our stay a real pleasure.

Exceptional food served with love by the attentive and caring staff. Quite a small menu but there were changes every night and everything we had was really good.

Visited for a full afternoon tea which had been pre-booked as a late mothers day treat. Having been on several occasions in the past, the last time 3 years ago we hoped it would still be as good & were not disappointed. We were offered a choice of 5 different sandwich fillings & 2 types of bread & had a selection of them all between the 3 of us, which were freshly made, well filled & very tasty. Accompanying were some small freshly made fancy cakes, small Crème Brûlée as well as scones with jam & clotted cream. There was a choice of tea or coffee which were replenished as needed. What's not to like. A lovely way to spend a cool windy March afternoon. We left feeling very well fed with a huge smile on our faces & will definitely be back.

Our first visit to the Orestone Manor, for Sunday Lunch. We have seared sea bass, loin of pork and seasonal veg. All cooked and presented to perfection, and served by polite, attentive and friendly staff. We also enjoyed a bottle of English sparking wine from Sharpham, recommended by the host, which was outstanding. Delightful atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon.

We decided to visit Orestone Manor restaurant again as we have been many times before. There was just two of us on a Saturday night for a nice quiet meal. We had to wait for a table this time, but we didn't mind. We were shown to our table. The staff know us well now and asked how we were. Ordered drinks, which came quickly. Looked at the menu and a member of staff came and took our order. I decided to have the cauliflower cheese soup which sounded nice. It came and it was hot but it was very thick and very filling. I couldn`t eat all of it. I had a steak which was lovely, cooked nice. Pudding i had the assiette of puddings, which were lovely. I had coffee too which was ok. We found this time that the prices had gone up since the last time. All in all we had a lovely evening and we will go back.

My wife and I have visited the Orestone for many years. Last evening we had the valentines dinner. Each course was outstanding. The fillet steak melted in your mouth. The staff were excellent as always. A perfect evening in superb surroundings. Thank you.

We went for a Murder Mystery dinner. It was a lovely evening the food was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient. It is a mark of a very good kitchen to serve so many people truly great food in a short period of time, my hats off to the crew! We will be back for sure!

We enjoyed the most wonderful Christmas lunch. So much thought had been put into the seating plan. I was there with my elderly father so to sit with other people was a delight. The menu was spectacular, every course tasted homemade and delicious. Familiar staff which we loved. Nothing was too much. Thank you!

We had my Mothers 80th Birthday lunch here. All I can say is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT ! The food , the service the venue I wish I could give more than 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️so here they are.

This is a lovely venue and the staff were good but we did not feel the Christmas meal was up to expectations. Some of the turkey was fatty and the Christmas pudding could have been much nicer. We felt there was room for improvement.

It was an absolute pleasure to lunch with friends at such a lovely venue The welcoming staff followed by excellent quality and value food in a relaxed atmosphere with superb views What’s not to like?

Visited for an evening meal while on holiday. Everything was excellent. The ambience in the hotel was relaxing and the food was great. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

I have been here twice in the last couple of months. The first time for lunch with friends the second time in the evening with family to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Each time the food and service has been exemplary. The conservatory restaurant is a nice place to eat at lunchtime as there are lovely views over the gardens to the sea. The Bay restaurant is cosier for winter evening dining. The lunch menus are cheaper than the evening menu.

Afternoon tea on the terrace was amazing

Fantastic night away here , our room was in the annexe and was just perfect for a romantic night away. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was 5 star, my only recommendation would be that the restaurant lacked a little atmosphere but it was quiet and a weekday but maybe the mucus slightly louder. We will definitely be back but for longer next time , one night was not enough. See you soon

Came here with friends for afternoon tea, it was absolutely amazing from start to finish, the hotel is beautifully furnished and fantastic position, we were greeted by the staff who couldn’t do enough for us, the afternoon tea was one of the best we have had and we have had a lot! Staff very attentive and made sure our tea was topped up, leaf tea with a strainer as well, a lovely choice of sandwiches, scones and cakes, the chocolate brownies to die for, we will definitely be coming back as it’s on our doorstep, thank you orestone for a amazing afternoon,

Wonderful Sunday Lunch! Five of us came here last Sunday for Lunch. It was possibly the best I’ve ever tasted! I don’t think any of us could fault the ambience, the food itself or the service. Definitely way above average! A place to return to if you’re looking for something a bit special!

We have driven past the end of the road many times and every time say "we must go there" and finally we did. Wow! We were blown away. From the initial enquiry through to the actual visit, the staff could not have been more helpful. My wife has very restrictive dietary needs and they accommodated everything she needed with ease! A lot of other restaurants could learn a lot from this place. The actual visit, where we ate on the terrace was sublime with memorable food and gorgeous views and was nicely topped off with a little surprise for her birthday. It made for a very memorable event, so much so that we booked to return before we left. Special mentions for the wonderful lady on reception, the bearded gentleman at the bar (apologies for not getting either of your names but you know who you are) and Don our waiter. If you live local or visiting the area you must visit this place. There is something for everyone from sandwiches through to fine dining. Cream teas also!

This is a lovely place. The food is fabulous and the food is hot and so are the plates. The staff are friendly and come to the table during your meal to see if everything is ok. We have been a few times and it is always lovely. This is how it should be done. We will be back. Thank you.

I was taken for my birthday. This was an amazing restaurant with a fabulous food and service. The fine dining menu was varied and I chose was amazing. We definitely will be returning for special occasions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience in this hotel. The food was lovely with a good selection. The usual scones and sandwiches but offered more if we want. We could not finish what we were given. The outlook was beautiful with views over the sea. Ask for the view. Very enjoyable.

Stayed one night and had a lovely evening meal.Excellent food and lovely staff. Will certainly return, think afternoon tea on the terrace next time. Everyone was adhering to the (current) covid rules which does put the spontaneity out of things a bit but that is not down to the hotel, just a sign of the times.

After some months in lockdown it’s back to south Devon’s finest hotel and resturant. This family run hotel offers an excellent varied menu with a superb drinks selection. The staff are friendly and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. I was impressed by their attention to detail regarding COVID 19 arrangements too. A truly superb evening.

With the covid figures rising locally it was good to see all the measures being taken to make customers feel safe whilst still providing a most enjoyable dining experiance.The food was excellent and the staff were all well trained and efficient.Places like this which is a family run concern who are following all the rules really need people to get behind them and support them during these strange times.We will be back soon.

Finally able to use our gift voucher, booked a Sunday Lunch table for 2 Today 20 September 2020, weather very good for the time of year. Hotel in lovely order, all safety measures well maintained. Ordered Chicken Liver Parfait for starters followed by British Loin of Beef and finished with Dark Chocolate Tart with strawberries, ice cream all excellent and faultless staff very attentive and we were given loads of time to enjoy everything, spent a little time on veranda looking out to sea most relaxing. Highly recommended, would visit again to try afternoon tea etc. Thanks to all the staff involved.

Anniversary meal in a beautiful restaurant. Of course the food is the most important thiing and we had a delicious three course meal which focussed on local seafood and fresh ingredients. A simple tomato salad was a delight and the mains of monkfish tail were full of fantastic flavours and beatifully presented. The venue is spacious and peaceful with a view over the bay and the staff were attentive and helpful. Dietry issues (including gluten) were well catered for so no hesitation to recommend.

8 of us had a lovely lunch here today. Everyone enjoyed their meals and desserts. My crayfish and prawn ravioli was sublime. The setting is wonderful and the staff excellent. If I lived locally I would be back very soon.

We recently spent four days at Orestone Manor. We chose one of the suites in the Coach House. Great accommodation with bedroom, en-suite and balcony with a hot tub downstairs and sitting room with balcony upstairs with a great view to the sea. We had dinner, bed & breakfast . The breakfast was very good and a great start to the day. The dinners in the evening were superb; a different menu each night and all dishes we choose were beautifully cooked and presented. I feel that a special mention is due to all the staff that looked after us. In difficult circumstance, just coming out of of lock-down, they made us feel very comfortable and at no time did we feel vulnerable. A great stay and thanks to all that made it so.

Even in these challenging times with COVID this place was a delight.We found some real mediocre places in Torquay including our hotel and when we was able to book this was a breath of fresh air!Service excellent and attentive,food superb and views and atmosphere exquisite.If we ever return to this area would revisit and possibly even stay !Well done all!

We have just returned from a weekly stay here had our breakfast here every morning which was always very filling and kept us going all day, we were also always served very quickly to enable us to get out for the day nice and early.We also had our dinner here on two occasions and it was delicious but very rich not good for the diet but extremely tasty I wish we had eaten here every night I would recommend the fillet steak it was beautiful again service always very prompt and personal and your waiter I think he way be called don? I may be wrong was always very friendly and good with our daughter. Thankyou for a lovely experience.

My friend and I went for lunch here as a nice treat and it did not disappoint. The whole place is just beautiful with stunning views. I had a tasty ploughman’s which came with the most delicious bread. My friend had the mushroom tagliatelle which she thoroughly enjoyed. Desserts were really good as well. The waiter was friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. All in all, a great lunch!

I looked on trip advisor and saw some good reviews. I contacted the restaurant to book and as it was a special occasion I requested the beef stroganoff ( which had been on the menu but I was advised the menu changed every few days) they kindly agreed to put it on the day we were going. How glad was I it was gorgeous just as the setting was. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal, nothing was too much trouble, The service was excellent special thanks to Don. Great value for money too would definitely return.

Had afternoon tea at Orestone Manor. Just simply delicious. Sandwiches, cakes, a pannacotta in a small coffee cup and of course scones with jam and clotted cream. Definitely worth going

my husband and I have stayed here even though we live locally and the rooms are simply lovely the food is as my best friend said when I treated her on her last birthday the best food we have eaten shes been to really fancy restaurants so she knows but the reason we come back is all of the above and the staff they are so wonderful and during these difficult days they made us feel safe and very welcome I am booking another meal as I want to support this hotel during these difficult times

Having received an afternoon tea gift voucher for my 60th birthday in March it was obviously disappointing that we were unable to use it soon afterwards however following the lockdown relaxation my husband and I decided to book it for his birthday and celebrate both.The weather was beautiful and although there are procedures to be followed on arrival it did not detract from enjoying the lovely atmosphere and tranquil setting whilst sitting at our table enjoying the marvellous afternoon tea. The waiter was extremely friendly, helpful and considerate in his service and the generous and varied selection of food was excellent. There was smoked salmon and cucumber, egg mayonnaise and coronation chicken sandwiches, chocolate brownies, lemon drizzle cake and panna cotta followed by plain and fruit scones, clotted cream and fresh strawberries. We had a lovely unhurried hour and half of indulgence and in no way were we pressured to leave. My husband and I cannot fault anything about the whole experience and we will definitely return. It was an amazing birthday afternoon tea!

Food as good as, if not better, than many Michelin restaurants. That is not just a throw away comment it is honest. We had gin martinis and Champagne (and squeezed in a glass of Picpoul) whilst perusing the menus followed by scallops and a crab martini. The pea puree cream with the scallops was sublime. Beef bourguignon and the local stone bass were great. Then a cafe gourmande (assorted desserts) and a creme brulee. The chocolate sphere was fabulous. Best ever. Our Pinot Noir was good and the decaf coffee excellent. Friendly staff and service. We are lucky to live so close by! Many thanks!

Had a reasonable meal here. Crab martini starter was excellent, wines very good, steak was okay but would not recommend. Waiter with the beard was excellent - when I made a mistake regarding which wine glasses to clear during the meal, without skipping a beat, he merely politely explained how it would be, so saving any embarrassment on my part and ensuring my evening would remain enjoyable - it was so subtle I only realised afterwards how deft he had been. The cashier on the other hand needs a reminder of customer service. When I pointed out we had been overcharged, he went off to check the menu. On returning there was no apology, just an insistence that the bill price was what it ‘should have been’ and a begrudging offer to allow me to pay the price on the menu. The difference was small. Less than 2% of the bill, I had almost not bothered to mention it. And now wish I hadn’t as it left a bad taste in the mouth. Given the mostly great reviews of this restaurant, perhaps the stress of dealing with the Covid situation was a factor.

Booked this restaurant for a sunday lunch for a birthday celebration, the food is of excellent quality and cooked superb , the staff were attentive we have booked for easter weekend and look forward to trying there evening menu .

We had only recently heard of the Restaurant at The Orestone. We travelled by taxi and were promptly greeted on our arrival. There was a very comfortable lounge where we had a drink and our order was taken. We were shown to our table and the service was close to silver service. The food was very good but a little difficult to see due to the low ambient light. This is a personal comment due to my limited vision and would have loved it when younger. The cost was very fair for the quality of food and service offered.

Arranged to meet up with an old work colleague and his wife who have moved to Teignmouth!! A quick search online and I found this place and booked 2 weeks in advance!! Storm Dennis nearly derailed our plans but after a very wet and windy drive up from Cornwall we arrived at this charming place!! Pre lunch drink in the lounge and selected our lunch with the menus provided by the very efficient member of staff!! Not a long wait for our food which was excellent and we had all 3 courses which I can highly recommend!! The location is great and on a sunny and warmer day you can sit outside and enjoy the views!! Thank you to everyone at Orestone Manor for our lovely lunch and first class service and it’s safe to say we will be back!!

We sadly were not staying at orestone manor but were treated so well and had lots of delicious food and drink staff all excellent well done to all will certainly try to stay next time and recommend to friends and family.

We have been enjoying the hospitality of the Orestone Manor for several years and have been meaning to write a comment for some time. We have hosted parties there, enjoyed functions there and great evening meals and Sunday lunches - quite simply it is one of the very best restaurants in the area. We have just enjoyed another fabulous Sunday lunch there. Thank you.

Torbay is home from home for us but this was our first visit to Orestone Manor. A birthday treat for Mrs Ancientraver from her mum and dad it was well worth the trip down from Cheshire which, in spite of storm Ciara’s tender ministrations, was a relative breeze (pun definitely intended).This being a late evening in February the views across the bay were hidden in the murk. Fortunately a seat in the bar close to the fireplace and a warm, thoughtful welcome was more than sufficient compensation. The restaurant was busy, with a large, and clearly happy family gathering in the adjoining conservatory adding to the atmosphere. Busy they may have been but service remained prompt and friendly throughout. Highlights of my meal were the best fish cakes I’ve ever eaten and a meltingly tender venison loin. We will be back in Torquay for our Summer hols in August and are already looking forward to our second visit to Orestone.

We were on our own on Christmas Day so booked a communal table at the Orestone. The meal was absolutely delicious and the company was great. Would recommend anyone to spend their Christmas Day with them.

Don’t eat here microwaved raw food

18 members of our family gathered for a lovely Christmas evening. The service was impeccable, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, attentive without being intrusive. The food was superb and a great selection of vegetables!

We decided to got back to Orestone Manor after 6 years to see if anything had changed. We had a lovely time. The food was out of this world. The staff were very attentive. The place is nice and clean and we were greeted by a member of staff who sat us by the fire to wait for our table. Asked if we wanted any drinks, then took our order. We went on a Sunday for lunch and yes, we will go back again.

We had a lovely Xmas meal here. The food was really nice but the ambiance and service were five star. Also, very good value for money.

Very pleasant views from dining area on nice day you can eat outside overlooking a valley leading to the sea. For our tea we were offered a choice of 3 different sandwich very well presented. A Devon cream tea with the usual scones /jam/cream. A raspberry compote and 2 different cakes all with tea and coffee. A very enjoyable experience.

Lunched here with 2 close friends to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival we we given the choice of sitting in an interior lounge, a slightly pedestrian sun room or a delightful paved terrace with lovely views down to the sea. It was a nice day so we chose the terrace where we consumed a bottle of the very acceptable house champagne.

Actually, everything you should expect from a tucked away hotel in south Devon serving afternoon and cream teas. We settled for the cream tea. We don't live far away so will be going back to try the afternoon tea, so hope we won't be disappointed.

Five of us had a truly delicious dinner at Orestone they certainly have a chef who can cook, each course was first class even for the vegetarian in our party.

We went for a meal at Orestone Manor after getting married in July 2019. It was absolutely excellent. From our email exchanges beforehand to the afternoon itself, the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. Although it was our wedding, it wasn't our main celebration and so we didn't want a lot of fuss, rather a nice, celebratory family lunch. They were careful to ensure that the event was pitched accordingly. The food, which we were consulted on beforehand, was superb and the timing was impressive given that we were a table of 25. The setting is beautiful and on a sunny day (which we were lucky to have), you can sit on the veranda overlooking the pretty gardens and sea. The only thing I would change would be the "OYO" logo which newly adorns the facade. It is some sort of hotel franchise branding but unfortunately makes the place look like a building contractor or something. The staff obviously have no control over this, but its a shame that an international business is able to spoil a lovely building like Orestone Manor. It's only on the outside, however, and the interior and gardens are thankfully unaffected. Overall a wonderful experience and we'd like to thank the team at Orestone Manor for making our day so special and memorable.

The menu is well thought out and the choice excellent (not workable for vegans though, I'd say). Everything was wonderful quality and perfectly cooked. The dining area and views are great, and the service was absolutely top notch from start to finish.. real attention to detail, and nothing too much trouble. Great value for the quality of food on offer. Thanks to all concerned for making a family birthday celebration into a wonderful evening. We'll be back.

Always go by your recommendations so when I entered best Sunday lunch and Orestone Manor came up I booked I was advised the time shiw on there site was incorrect and we were booked in at 12.15 lunch time I stated I was allergic to Black peppers he went away to the Chef then came back to us saying all of there Sunday roasts were drenched in pepper all night and the roast potatoes I have never come across this before as they were advertising the roasts Beef,pork Chicken you would have thought that one of the three would have been supplied without adding pepperes I had to end up with fish for Sunday lunch not what I wanted I think they should advertise that they add these allergic items so people are aware Graham Thurston the fish was very good and the service

I had read an article about Orestone Manor in Wellington, New Zealand's daily paper on Christmas Eve 2018. I knew I would be back working in England during the Summer of 2019 and visiting a friend in Cornwall. I decided, from the article, that my friend and I should have afternoon tea at what promised to be a stunning location. Eventually 3 of us had a very relaxing afternoon tea inside but with a wonderful view over Maidencombe Bay. Everything about the place was ''understated elegance'', the welcome was warm, the service was very good and the afternoon tea not only delicious but reasonably priced. I have already recommended it to various friends. I wished I lived nearer and could go next time for an evening meal or even stay over for a long weekend.

Ask for a window table in the conservatory on a nice summers evening and you are in for a treat. This is great food in a beautiful location. Highly recommended for any occasion. Menu is varied and the prices are very reasonable.

Lovely setting and good service. Very good food and well presented. Tables in restaurant would benefit from having table clothes but otherwise a lovely restaurant.

An excellent value three course fixed price dinner superbly hosted by Don the Maitre d. Lovely views from the restaurant towards the sea and relaxing lounge areas for after dinner coffee. Superb in every way and we will return to this 2 Rosette restaurant.

We came to Orestone Manor for our 6th Wedding Anniversary and it was a night without the kids.

For our last evening in this lovely area, we wanted to find somewhere "special to eat". Orestone Manor certainly fitted the bill. Lovely attentive staff, beautifully presented, delicious food and very reasonably priced. Our jewel in the crown this holiday.

Such a beautiful place with amazing food. This is quite a pricey place to go but its Michelin style food quality makes it a very special place!

We have loved this hotel since our first visit for lunch many years ago - our girls wot lunch group come here regularly. This was dinner with friends and as always the ambience of this hotel wraps round you as soon as you arrive. To this add charming staff, a menu to suit everyone, food that tastes as good as it sounds and you have a favourite for your list. Hope to see you there one day.

Lovely venue for celebratory lunch. The manor itself is very well appointed and has fabulous views of the sea, especially from the veranda which leads on to the lawn. You could easily spend half a day here enjoying the facilities. The food is good (maybe not amazing - it's not quite fine dining but quite a treat anyway). Also lovely spot for coffee or afternoon tea with a full cake stand of goodies.

As the restaurants in town were pretty full, we took the extra way out the Orestone Manor for dinner. We got a very good service and an excellent dinner!

We stayed for two nights recently, 22nd March for my husbands birthday treat. We had one of the coach house suites with private hot tub. The room was modern and clean and the hot hub was definitely the star attraction. It was wonderful to relax in the hot tub after a day exploring the Devonshire coastline. We couldn't see the sea from our balcony due to the weather on the Saturday but the sun shone on the Sunday and we spotted the sea, the hotel is in a lovely spot.

Highly recommend the afternoon tea, lovely surroundings, delicious selection of sweet and savoury food and plenty of tea and coffee. It was friendly and the service was excellent. Thank you!

Very tasty, well presented lunch in the conservatory which now has a sea view - or did it always? We all had something different and really enjoyed our meals. Lovely moist chocolate brownie for dessert. Have only had dinner in the restaurant before which have always been delicious but will definitely be back for more lunches.

The food was excellent my fillet steak cooked to perfection just melted in the mouth. The other dishes looked delicious and I'm told were! Lovely lunch in a super setting, even the sun was shining! Thank you and I certainly won't leave it as long before I'm back!

Lovely food full of many flavours and served in a very relaxed nothings to much trouble atmosphere. I found the staff very helpful and it's always nice to be able to see the chef at work which you can here from the comfort of your seat.

This is our fourth visit to eat at Orestone Manor. Our last visit was for my partners birthday and what makes it so special is little touches like having a birthday card waiting at the table and a birthday plate before desert. Tonight we chose Orestone Manor for our Valentines meal, and as usual, was not disappointed. 5 star service at every moment of our night, particularly from Craig who can recommend wine for each course to a Tee. The food was exquisite - again, not surprised, it is always to the highest of standard. Can not wait for our next excuse to come for dinner. Thank you for a wonderful night as always!!

My wife and I have eaten at the Orestone twice. On both ocassions we have found the food to be really enjoyable, simple but well cooked and presented and extremely tasty. The atmosphere is lovely, with a gorgeous seating area with comfy chairs and sofas and real fires to wait in with a drink while your table is prepared. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Really recommend a visit.

A great experience. Friendly reception on arrival and taken through to a quiet and cosy lounge for pre-lunch drinks. Log fire and comfy chairs. Order taken for our lunch. After a short time taken through to our table. Tables well spaced out. Starters were chicken liver pate on brioche with chutney and goats cheese with salad. Both were excellent. We all followed with Roast Beef (served pink unless requested otherwise) Yorkshire Pudding and Parsnip. Roast potatoes, green beans and mashed carrots with swede were served in separate dishes with an offer for more if required. A separate gravy boat was also provided. Excellent! Service was impeccable. We finished with teas back in the lounge. The hotel has historical connections to Isambard Kingdom Brunel and I was impressed the staff were aware and an information sheet was provided for us.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary and also a milestone birthday. We'd read the reviews and reviewed the menu. We chose to go for the a la carte menu (not available on Mondays).

A really very nice location to enjoy a first class meal with good service and a truly relaxed atmosphere. Not noisy - just right. Certainly one of the best restaurants close to Torquay. You need to be aware this location is not in Torquay and requires either a taxi or your own transport to get there - ample parking. Definitely recommended and we will certainly return for another meal.

I have recently had the pleasure of eating twice at the Restaurant at Orestone Manor. This really is a first class fine dining experience not to be missed. The food is 5 star and the attention from the wait staff is excellent. After dinner you can break out into 1 of 3 separate lounge / sitting areas.

We stayed half board, and the three course evening meals on dinner menu were both good value, and a good experience. Everything well prepared, and alternatives offered if something had run out. Contemporary regional menu without pretence.

This was a very special occasion. Our family were all together. We had Sunday Lunch and it was delicious. Something for everyone whether you are a meat lover, a fish lover or vegetarian. We do tend fo go here for special occasions.
