Lovely food and excellent staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Bluebell. Will definitely visit there again when we're in the area.

We went on Xmas day in a party of 8 plus a toddler. Food excellent Service excellent Ambience excellent. I can't find fault. Thank you Nat, Mikey and your superb Staff.

The experience from start to finish was outstanding. The attention to detail, the service and the food was phenomenal. It was our first visit here and we were made to feel very welcome. Our drinks order was taken immediately after seating and no more than five minutes later we had our order. The menu is done on a weekly basis to ensure the freshest seasonal produce is available. We had the mini camembert starter and scotch egg starter, both absolutely delicious. Once again the service was amazing from the team. The main meals were delivered to the table in quick succession and were beautifully cooked. I would highly recommend coming here and we will certainly be back!

Pub is one of the best I've been to as a seasonal professional pub goer, Staff are simply lovely and professional which creates such a friendly environment. The food is out of this world if tha wants some proper food this is the place had bangers and mash with mac and cheese and was honestly the best I've ever had, the mac and cheese is to die for would travel hours for it. 10/10 would recommend 👌

Had a wonderful meal at the Bluebell yesterday evening. Shared a couple of mini camemberts with crusty bread and sweet chilli jam. Two of us chose the Lamb demi pie which was a work of art. Demi apparently as its a lamb shank that's cooked slowly and then the meat is mixed with herbs and reformed around the lamb shank bone and wrapped in strips of delightful pastry. Absolute knockout! Beautifully cooked vegetables and a delightful sauce. Great friendly service too. Well done to all the team.

The service was first class. The food was excellent. We stayed in the campsite to the rear of the pub all in a lovely setting

The Blubell is a proper local pub with four lovely well-equipped rooms to stay. We often stay here when visiting family in the local area. The rooms are spacious and clean with everything provided, including tea and coffee, a pint of milk in your own fridge, and a continental breakfast. There is excellent homemade food available in the pub (but you need to remember to book in advance) and it's a great place for an evening with a pint, chatting to the very friendly staff and locals. The dominos board might even make an appearance. Recommended 100%

Sunday roast at the Bluebell Lound. Disappointing for the price - £15.95 The pork was tough, appeared to be from a cheap pork roll - not a fresh joint The mixed veg was frozen & hard , should have boiled longer. , not edible like under cooked veg is.

Absolutely fantastic food and great staff too. We have now enjoyed many lovely Sunday roasts since first discovering Bluebell Inn and the food is consistently really nice. We would recommend to anyone and everyone, as a must try location so add it to the list. We will back for many more Sunday roasts and are looking forward to trying the other dishes you offer in the week as well as trying to make one of your special events. A quick FYI, I think the menus changes often, so that is why there isn't one online.

Fantastic food and room .friendly staff

Smashing country pub set in an ideal location. The menu changes every Wednesday but the 'constant' sandwich menu was excellent. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and the Saturday lunchtime atmosphere was very friendly. Definitely added to my 'Visit Again' list.

Went for a Sunday after been told how good it was, I wasn't disappointed. Definitely will be making more trips and Great friendly staff,

Fabulous food a great little find

What a great experience. In a country where poor service and bad food is almost accepted, here we had the opposite. A great welcome. Friendly, efficient service. High quality, perfectly seasoned and well-executed food, reasonable prices and a lovely atmosphere. Really, really genuinely good. Well done to the team there. A must visit if you like such good stuff.

Great customer service. Guinness is A1. Keeps traditional values with a tap/sports room with pool table, next door is a lounge which is lovely and serves superb meals!

Great traditional food done with a slight twist. Love the scotch egg with katsu sauce. Sea bass was excellent, just a little more sauce please.

Beautiful food served by very friendly staff.

Fab meal last night. 2 calamari which where gluten free and lovely, 2 braised beef cheek , again gluten free, 1 beef stroganoff pie and1 fillet steak + a side of onion rings + 1 sticky toffee pudding. All absolutely lovely. Again the onion rings and sticky toffee pudding where done gluten free. The landy said why not do them gluten free when they taste just as good. Highly recommended. Will be back.

If you haven't eaten here yet you're seriously missing out... I had the chorizo cocktail sausage starter with a bacon mayonnaise I would happily have swam in and my partner had the apple and parsnip soup which was amazing. Main course was rib eye for me cooked to perfection and liver for the bloke...again just outstanding in terms of taste, quality of ingredients and presentation...too full for pudding unfortunately. Lovely friendly service and a great choice of drinks make this a must for anyone looking for a great night out...thanks Nat and team...be seeing you soon 😘

The Team here are amazing and service was very good the was beautiful so it's a 10/10 for me . You need to book to Save disappointment .

Proper pub in a quiet village. They have 4 rooms that operate as a B&B. The rooms are high quality clean, private and can be accessed at all times so not disturbing or being disturbed. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. Great selection of real ale and Gin and tonics and a good wine list which brings us to the restaurant. You would, at first glance think this is regular pub grub. Do not be fooled. The food is outstanding both in terms of the preparation and presentation. Best chicken Caesar I have ever had. Home made croutons and the chicken cooked perfectly not dry and tasteless which is often the case. The sea trout was also first rate. (We share). The taurine was so good we should have had two instead of sharing the starter.

Roasties were abit over cooked and too crunch but overall was a great meal and the chocolate fudge cake was extremely amazing

Lovely pub with very nice food. We stayed for two nights in one of their rooms, very clean and comfortable. All good and very reasonably priced!

Very nice little country pub with friendly staff. Food is good aswell. Its a small pub with a big heart. Very good outdoor area and can take dogs there too.

Very good beers and friendly staff, made to feel very welcome and a relaxed atmosphere to drink in. The pub is clean and well maintained and is everything a country pub should be. They also have a very nice beer garden including a covered patio area so you still have a drink outside with getting too hot or too wet.

Had a wonderful meal here great food and lovely staff. I had the steak and stilton salad. The steak was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend

Really nice food, great selection of beers, lovely friendly staff, beer garden, lounge/dinning room and bar room. Kids play ground.

We had a wonderful stay for three nights in a pleasant modern room. Our hosts were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The bed was very comfortable, and the in-room continental breakfast excellent. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the pub (amazing steak and pork ribs) and look forward to our next visit.

Just been here for Sunday lunch, the food was amazing, and such a friendly place. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

This a great place for good food, good beer and good banter. All the staff are attentive and well mannered. The service is just the right pace so you don't get over whelmed. All in all a great eating experience. The menu changes weekly so there is something different and exciting to try.

Cracking village pub. Friendly and welcoming landlady made space for us in the bar so we could have a last minute Sunday lunch. The food was delicious. Welbeck Abbey beers on tap. Open fire. And a great bunch of locals who were happy to share their pub with us! Loved it

Been over a few times with our caravan lovely quiet spot. Had food on the last occasion highly recommended it wish we had tried it earlier.

Amazing place to eat! We have eaten here a few times over the past few weeks, I had a steak sandwich which is served on a Saturday afternoon which was delicious, we will definitely be going back for one. We then had a Sunday roast which was one of the best Sunday roasts we have ever had! The staff are very friendly, and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. Last minute we phoned to change a table booking of 5 to a table of 7 which we knew was a push but it was no trouble at all. Also a great place to have a drink and a game of pool. We have told so many friends and work colleagues about this pub, we can’t recommend this pub enough!

Friendly staff, very clean rooms, well worth a visit/stay, real pub.

This place has recently been taken over, which is not always a good thing. Before the takeover the pub, food and campsite were excellent (particularly the food). We were a little anxious when we booked in for food and camping last night, however we had no need to worry, the staff were very polite, professional and humorous (especially the landlady, Natalie). The food was superb. Good portions, cooked fresh and served piping hot and arrived really quickly. This is still possibly our favourite place to dine and camp over. Thanks so much. We will be back again soon.

Very friendly staff The food was exceptional. I had the steak & ale pie which was so delicious. The rest of our table had the pork loin, lamb cutlets and sea bream and the comments were all the same well presented and delicious. Highly recommend

We are staying on the Blue Bell's well kept caravan site. The pub is very friendly and clean. The meals are amazing, it's not often that I could say that a pie's crust was as enjoyable as the meat but that is definitely the case here. Well cooked using fresh seasonal ingredients. Very much looking forward to coming back.

Recently changed hands. The new owners have kept the wonderful homely feel going. I love this place. The food is superb without being expensive. The service is just right, attentive without being annoying. Well done to the whole team

Wonderful dining experience at the bluebell Inn this weekend. It was busy but the service was still excellent and the food was first class. The mains in particular I could have eaten 1000 times over - so well balanced, fresh and lovely personal touches. We will be back soon! Thank you 🙂

Awesome food. A real pub, real food run by genuine people with a sense of humour. Just spot on. I had the Belly Pork and Treacle Tart. Man Alive, the best. Staying with the caravan in the little site at the back of the pub. Another great find.

Quick on the food, slow on desert, crowded, small pub, limited food, pool table and darts, toilets, play park, kind staff, manager betting me that if I win pool, he buys my half pint of coke and he wins, I buy him half pint of beer! And a campsite for caravaners like me with electric power plug in points! £15 per night you stay, now that's a bargain!
