We started with cocktails in Ci Ci's, what a great way to start the evening. The team were fabulous, making me a cocktail off menu and advising on others. We were looking into the kitchen, and the lovely chef saw this and invited us in (before H&S warriors start, there was no hot prep going on!) , He gave us a an insight in to what was happening in there and how they store their food etc. We were ushered off before they started making the desserts, in order not to ruin our experience later that evening and our cocktails were ready!!! 😊 The food, well we have never tasted anything like it, it was amazing! We had the wine flight (£120.00 per person one). and whilst some may say it's all too expensive, for us it was an experience which we had planned, and knew wouldn't be cheap....It's Paul Ainsworth at No.6 after all, it's a treat not an every week go to!! Paul , if you read this, you have an amazing team who genuinely look after the guests from start to finish, they are a credit to you! p.s we went to Cafe Rojano earlier that day for coffee and cake...very good too!

You can tell these are burgers made with love - the guy who takes your orders talks with passion about the menu, and with good reason. There are some interesting flavour combos, but what I had (goat's cheese, roasted red pepper, hot sauce, chorizo) worked very well. Messy with the juicier patties (this is no smash burger), but it'd be boring if this was clean work.

My wife and I visited last night for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We loved it - the staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The complimentary homemade bread, hummus and oil was a real treat along with the pallet cleanser between courses. The food and menu choice we thought was exceptional, as was the wine (Chablis). Brilliant atmosphere. A fantastic evening - definitely recommended.

Just returned from an outstanding meal at this lovely bistro. The food was delicious and made from seasonal local produce. The service was exceptional- especially the lovely young guy who was amazing. Lovely personal touches of homemade chocolates and fudge after our meal- really not needed but so yummy! We don’t live locally but those of you who do are very lucky to have this in your doorstep. But we will definitely be back as it’s worth a trip just for another meal here!

Had a wonderful, freshly cooked breakfast on a piping hot plate, with lovely fresh tea, served in a proper Delph tea pot . I visited on a Sunday morning just off a flight from Dublin, and it was a lovely old school type of English cafe with very good friendly efficient staff,,, well done Driftwood cafe,, this will be a place I will definitely visit again soon.
