Called in today on the off chance of getting seated and the staff bent over back wards to help us out and get us seated. Food was beautiful and tasted great. Would absolutely recommend the sun inn and will definitely be going back.

Let’s turn a corner from our most recent experience of this place: It’s so sad to see a pub, a eating place and social centre slip so badly, My wife and I brought old friends here for a midweek evening meal and how poor the whole place felt, dirty, cold, unkempt and even the public toilets provided really run down. This pub needs more than just a bit of TLC; The whole place needs to turn a corner

My daughter and I came for Sunday lunch and we had one of the best roast dinners. The food was piping hot, served efficiently and it was delicious. We will certainly return again.

Had lunch here on Saturday whilst staying with friends in the local area. Nice traditional old pub. Barmaid was nice and polite, gave us a table and left us for a few moments to choose from quite an extensive list. I opted for the giant Yorkshire with turkey. It was ok, could have done with some veg not just peas. No desserts served

Went for a birthday meal with my parents today, absolutely gorgeous food. Staff very friendly & welcoming, clean pub lovely atmosphere.

Delicious gluten free fish and chips. They also do other dishes gluten free too. Definitely will be going there again.

Just had the most amazing pie and peas at the ferry inn the manageress was very pretty and done a great job on the food she must have chef bone in her somewhere Will definitely be going back for more

The food here is 2nd to none. Been here a few times and the share platter has always been perfect. A must visit place in Ossett.

Visited this pub last night with some friends who live local. It’s a gorgeous village pub and the staff and customers are really friendly. I was made to feel really welcome and would definitely recommend this pleasant hidden gem.

Had the mega breakfast and it was beautiful.

The ambiance is lovely, and the food is even better

On the whole meals were v. Good. Better than just before Christmas,and nicely presented.Maybe they have a new chef? The only downside was a long wait for 1 dessert which was puzzling because the pub was very quiet X not at all busy. We will Def be going again!
