The best restaurants serving British food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Starting to dislike the menu screens. If you're not a seasoned visitor, it's difficult to see what's on offer as the screens are forever changing. At least have one static screen showing what's available. Needs some window shades for the sun, when the sun is shining that is

Great service and food. Friendly staff who had time for friendly chat and also very helpful. Would recommend for families.

Had a 100 birthday . Then unfortunately a wake . Bur both were held expertly both the room and food.

I came with my husband as a weekend treat. We booked online but when we arrived it was quiet . Today is a Saturday. Maybe on a Sunday booking would be advised . The gentleman was served us at the bar was warm, friendly and professional. We ordered 2 breakfast , 2 large OJs and 2 coffees . The orange juice was really nice . The coffee was ok. Had better , but definitely had worse. The breakfast itself was alright to be fair . I didn’t get the Yorkshire pudding and gravy option haha but if that’s your thing. Crack on. The chopped potato onion hash thing was nice . The sausages were slightly over cooked but again they were alright, the eggs were nicely cooked , the bacon wasn’t the best . It looked reheated . It was like chewing cardboard . Everything else was completely acceptable. Would I rush to come back no, but if we were passing and we fancied a bite to eat would we return for sure. Few tweaks and this breakfast would be banging .

Visitó el lunes 17 de junio en una fiesta de 7 . Fantástico servicio del hombre (lo siento, no vi su nombre) , la comida llegó rápido y estaba caliente y delicioso. A un precio razonable también. El menú infantil era de solo £ 5. 99 por 3 platos y podrían tener filete de rabadilla para principal. Uno de los niños con nosotros tenía el filete que estaba perfectamente cocinado. Gracias.

Uno de nuestros ir a chipspys en Bridlington nunca decepciona la comida del personal muy amable siempre en su punto y a un precio muy razonable todo cocinado a la orden en goteo de carne

Really enjoyed our lunch today at The Rosette. We were made to feel very welcome by Nikki who was a one man band, serving drinks, food, clearing tables and taking orders but kept smiling all the time. We had the 2 for 11.99 deal. The food was amazing for the price. I had lasagne, hot and very tasty with garlic bread. My friend had the gammon, egg, pineapple and chips, again hot ,tasty and nicely cooked. You get a choice of 5 different kind of chips. My friend had the apple pie (huge slice) and custard, cup of tea for me. We were very pleasantly surprised (after reading some reviews), will definitely visit again.

Mi esposa y yo fuimos a cenar por la noche y no nos quedamos impresionados con la calidad de la comida, muy obviamente en el microondas, también la actitud arrogante del personal, mi esposa ni siquiera podía comenzar su comida estaba demasiado caliente y la carne era demasiado difícil de comer, así que le hicimos saber a la camarera y le pedimos que informara a alguien a cargo. Ella finalmente lo hizo y el señor arrogante vino y sin más conversación que si desea un reembolso en la comida de su esposa no dudamos y dijimos que sí. Me pregunto cómo funcionaría la cocina sin la ayuda de hornos microondas. Dios los ayude.

Terrible comida, rodajas más finas de pavo, pudín Yorkshire era duro, verdura estaba demasiado guisada y suave pero los tallos de coliflor eran duros. No todo estaba caliente, peor que las comidas escolares. La música en el pub era tan fuerte que era difícil de escuchar y ser escuchado al hacer el pedido. No volveré y nunca recomendaría. 🙁

Online menu offers a selection of hot beverages. Staff said they do not serve tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Staff very rude so all 5 of us left. Seemed odd that a hotel would not serve these on a cold wet December day. It will put us off going there again.

We went for Sunday lunch there were five of us we had booked. On arrival we were greeted by a young friendly lady who showed us to our roomy table .The staff were all very helpful and friendly , four of us had the carvery it was fantastic really nice cooked meat with a very good choice of veg. Everything was hot and of good quality . Even the desserts were great

Family meet up today. Very friendly helpful staff. Lots of choice and all was delivered hot. Really good food for all our chosen dishes.

We arrived later than our booking due to traffic , the team at nags head was very friendly and welcoming , there was 13 of us the food came out within half an hour and was excellent. Thank you We will be back

Shocking food,service and hygiene. Wait times unreal even though nearly empty. Dirty glasses etc. even for a marstons this was poor
