New Raja Grill Restaurant in Wakefield

Bought curry for £13 which doesn’t come with anything complimentary ( no naan or rice or salad) . Never buying from here again

Absolutely lovely large kebab on nan with salad. Came over 10 mins early. Definitely will be ordering again. I haven't had a kebab like that since I went to Turkey. Delivery guy was polite too. Definitely would recommend 😊. For the price too you get more than your money's worth. Will take two sittings to eat it. So yummy. Thank you guys ☺️ Yet again superb. I ordered on tbeir website. It was quick and easy and yet again great food with very very quick delievery time. Driver was lovely and ftiendly too. Thanks guys. Will keep ordering. Ordered curry and portion onion bhaji's with yoghurt sauce even tho it was ment to come with it and no sauce I rang back up they said they don't normally come with sauce even tho it says it on menu and waited 35 mins for yoghurt sauce and bhaji's now cold and asked for a review so here we are

Brought a tawa for 4 what a joke its wasn't even for 3 The lamb chops were missing There was no donner When I placed the order Should have been informed so I could have gone elsewhere Food wasn't anything special Should have seen that as it was empty

Food was late, poor quality and cold.

Ordered 2 curry's chapatis rice snd chips was told 45 mins for delivery turned up nearly 3 hours later flat cold chips missing rang 6 times and was fobbed off . Never use again.

Disgusting behaviour and unprofessional- they accepted order over the phone for collection but when I arrived to collect they said they have run out of that and order something else. On asking about why this happened ,behaviour of the staff was very unprofessional and even laughed at us as we left this terrible place. Will never recommend this place

Phoned for a delivery at 5.55, they said it would be about 40 to 50 minutes, yeah ok, it turned up at 7.35, stone cold, looks like I'm going to after find somewhere else.

Ordered a chicken wrap meal. It was awful,I regret buying from here. No salad in the wrap except for hot lettuce,felt sick couldn't eat it. Chips were awful couldn't eat. Scored one for the drink.

Order came and there was a pizza, chips and milkshake missing, we had more missing items than what was actually delivered. Brought the missing items 20 minutes later and they were cold and they wanted more money. Would not order again.

We were really loyal customers in Crofton. We've had a year now of late orders, wrong orders, missing orders, and completely wrong delivery and collection times. Get told sorry again and again and again and nothing. We cancelled our order tonight. Never again now. We should of learnt the first time. Stay well clear unless your prepared to be hungry for a long time.

I got a cheese burger, chips and a drink all for a £5 and was definitely worth more! Chips were lovely n crispy and burger was lush and they wasn’t shy on the cheese! Customer service also excellent, will definitely eat here again Didn’t take a photo as I ate it too fast😂

Was the best takeaway to go to and we ordered regularly, sometimes 3 times a week but not again after our last experience. Now, delivery was always slow but the food was really nice and worth the extra wait. On the 27th March 2022 we ordered our food at just after half past 5. At 7pm we made our first call to ask where our food was to be told it was on its way. We live 3 miles away. 15 minutes later and now food so phone call 2 to be told it was just on its way, then it was being prepared, then it was on its way. We specifically asked if it would be hot when it arrived. It did arrive just after 2 hours with no drink as stated and the food was cold, chips soggy and kebab meat dry and like leather, this was no regular kebab this was a £17.99 kebab so should have been red hot and in top condition. Phone call 3 and we were told they were sorry and would refund us via Uber eats. Well we are still waiting and nothing. I’m sorry but being lied to about the food and refund and the food being cold is not acceptable at all. We will not use Raja’s again.

I Order from rajas desi grill regularly. They never dissapoint. Great food. Mozzarella sticks are one to try. Pizzas are great too. The food is Always hot when delivered. Highly recommended this takeaway. Staff always polite.

Thought we would give this a try and so glad we did. Freshly cooked lovely flavours how a curry should be cooked!! The sheek kebabs are amazing!!! Lovely customer service chef takes great pride in his cooking and took the time to come to our table and chat.

Absolutely outstanding! The price is brilliant for one, £16 for a large pizza, cheesy chips, a chicken burger and a portion of chilli cheese bites and a bottle of coke including delivery! And the flavours and the tastes its just amazing! Delivery was quick and food was hot!

Ordered a corona killer kebab and it is massive. Full of peri chicken, chips, kebab meat, Southern fried chicken & salad. Food is gorgeous and will definitely will serve 2 to 3 people. The pizzas are brilliant from here, different than average pizza combos, great choice and good quality food! 👌

On occasion, we buy a takeout for movie night. Tonight we decided to try this place. This takeout is within a restaurant which I found strange, as we were ordering and waiting for it while watching customers eat? We studied the menu for about 5 mins then ordered at the counter to be told they were not serving pizza tonight seeing as it was broken? Wish the guy had of told us when we entered. A few items we ordered were not available. Anyway we ordered and waited 15mins for the food, which is basically the norm. On paying the guy forgot to give us out 20% discount as our bill was over £20? Just found the ordering and paying didnt go smoothly. I found my Donner meat tasteless, although my husband said he enjoy his (easily pleased 😂) Anyway on the whole I was disappointed and probably won't order from there again, maybe the pizza would have been good??

You can’t beat the quality of the food or the massive portions. Just be prepared to wait for it! Told 35 to 40 mins delivery... took 70 both times I ordered. Not the delivery guys fault as the food is hot when you get it. RAJA - Just be honest guys! You are worth the wait and will stop the curtain twitching and poor tip to the delivery guy if you tell it as it is

Enjoyed our meal. Restaurant was cold. We did get free popadoms. Unfortunately we found a hair in one of the dishes which put us of our food When we told the manager we weren't offered an apology, he just took of with the plate and no more was said..... Bad customer service

Ordered a triple chicken kebab that came with Peri peri chicken, chicken tikka and popcorn chicken; garlic bread with cheese; and my partner had a mixed kebab of another variety that had no chicken. He enjoyed his, mine however was awful. In fact it im honest I wasn't convinced at all it was chicken as the meat was really fatty and grey brown colour. The garlic bread wasn't very nice either. The naan the kebab was in was nice. I'm not a fussy eater and I was absolutely famished so it shows how bad it was that it went uneaten and I had 2 crumpets for my tea!

Went with my my partner for a tawa meal. Was shown to table promptly and offered free popadoms while we waited for our food. The place is small with tables close together. A plate of fresh salad came as we sat chatting accompanied by yogurt and pickle, my partner commented on how fresh it was! When the food arrived it looked very appetizing and I couldn't wait to dig in. All of the food tastes good, it was like having a starter and main in one, the tawa being very big filled with lamb chops, chicken wings, curries, donner chips and naan/chapati. Lots of food that tasted very good more than enough for 2. The young waiter was very friendly and made conversation with us and refilled our salad twice when asked. Will eat there again.

It never ceases to amaze me, how a classic food can be bastardised, thanks to the likes of curry-cum pizza shops with kebabs. This unholy trinity is Raja Desi Grills best offering. However, as if this was not enough, the service staff resemble and behave as Umpa-Lumpa's. Rudeness and impudence is one thing, but munching and chewing mid-sentence is something quite else. But the other staff follow a similar charade of clown-like behaviour. Excuse me, but I do understand what you are discussing and fought to control myself from kicking your brown stained teeth down your sorry throat. Stop scratching your backside while taking my order. Whatever you are fidgeting with has either become dislodged or is embedded for all eternity. I rarely review a restaurant or takeaway, but this place, AKA Raja Desi Grill is an absolutely disgusting excuse for its namesake. I recommend the owner shut up shop and quickly get himself into something more suited to his kind, like people smuggling, drugs or prostitution. Certainly one venue to avoid like the plague. It embraces all the goodness of the Plagues of Israel with amoebic intelligence. Pizza rating minus, grilled chicken is actually boiled something that might have been a chicken, but equally similar to an assortment of pestilence. Staff rating, frankly I would bring in Customs & Border Protection. It would be interesting to discover the number of illegals employed...hygiene - well to begin with, they would probably struggle to spell let alone pronounce and understand it. Value your health and sanity? Don't call, anywhere else but this place. Failing that, see a priest and beg forgiveness, your craving for tainted food will pass....

Nice big kebabs and meal deals available. The monster meat feast is a favourite, all the big kebabs I have found to be very nice, and the kidz have liked the pizzas.

Bought 2 £1 burgers and chips cost me £3.60 and then bought a drink. The date of the drink was expired by 2 months and the portion of a £1.60 charged chips very small. Overall first experience and bad experience
