Carvery. Meat was lovely, though no poultry just beef, pork or ham. Great Yorkshire pudding. Sausage very tasty. Veggies etc were nicely cooked but barely even warm and very quickly flat cold. Beautiful setting and great atmosphere. Dog friendly 🐶

Proper gem of a pub - was brought here by a local friend, it has everything you could need in a pub. Darts, Pool, Snooker, very reasonably priced drinks, and right by a tramline into central Sheffield. Absolutely will be bringing friends up here again when they next visit, it's a proper hidden gem.

As a wise man says: take art and put it aside. In this case, however, art is rightly at the center of the village, and we enjoy the fact that it is free and accessible to everyone. A like for the Scots despite the skirts.
