This is the best chip shop in Sheffield

I travel to this chip shop at least once a fortnight the portions are huge and the price is great for a mini fish dinner

My favourite chip shop has been for many many years. Staff friendly and some have worked there as long as I can remember. Always great food

Very good fish and chips indeed

Absolutely top rate food from here. Cooked perfectly and always fresh. There isn't a chippy for miles that tops this one. Staff always very chatty and polite too. Great food, great atmosphere to sum it up.

I popped it on a weekend to get my client fish and chips It was an absolute nightmare no fish and chip shops were open I told her only fish and chips with you on a weekend haha so I was going round and round with my colleague and luckily we found this one on Manor top Fantastic for 7£ it was the largest portion of fish And a lot of chips A single portion was enough for an elderly person and her grandchild so overall fantastic I loved the professionalism of the staff and how lovely they were and when we need fish and chips on a Sunday we know its open but we decided to get them here when she fancies them because the portion sizes are fantastic

Can get slightly cheaper elsewhere.

We got 4 small fish and chips and regular fish and chips and they were all beautiful. Fish lovely white and flaky, batter was perfect and not greasy at all! Chips were great too! The first time in months we've had food out as a family and everyone has been happy!!

Excellent! We went for the first time today, sat in the shop to eat large cod, cooked for us by Andrew - delicious, fresh, batter just right. Pleasant friendly service, good price. Thank you, we’ll definitely go again!

Best Chippy in the area, fish is always tasty and the food is always freshly cooked. All at a reasonable price. The only downside is it's sometimes difficult to park as it's on a main road with limited parking

Shop closing at 9.00 on friday, no food and no option to get anything freshly fried. Woman serving was verging on rude when serving. Wanted 4 fish and chips, bought last two. Went elsewhere and got twice as much for same price, Literally!! Very poor. Used to be good, not now. Food tasted stale az though oil was old. Chips cold.

Chose here this afternoon due to other reviews and of another chip shop nearby. Whilst the food tasted good, I seemed to have got a smaller meal deal rather than the fish, large chips and large curry sauce I ordered and paid for. The staff did seem quite busy but still....

Had two lots of fish and chips during the last couple of months and they’ve been dreadful. I don’t know if they’ve changed the cooking oil they use, but compared to how they use to taste it’s completely different. Both lots of food went straight in the bin! A waste of money!

Went in with 2 very large orders. Staff were fantastic! Got all the orders right and offered alternatives for items that where unavailable to save us waiting due to hungry kiddies waiting. And the food was delicious and hot as always.

Had a large battered sausage batter was thick and it must have been stood there a while not fresh chips dry curry sauce okay kids had a cone of chips which were dry used to be a lovely chippy

The large fish and chips, was a massive portion, impossible to eat it all, tasted fantastic as well

We travel from Staffordshire every 6 weeks or so specifically to go to this chippy for a Fishcake, Chips and scraps! Believe me, there is no better chippy in Sheff.

The food was nice enough but customer service lacked, also felt like it was quite pricey for what you got Cost £11.30 For a small fish and very small chips A battered sausage and very small chips Didn't even get asked if I wanted salt and vinegar unfortunaltey I won't be going back jus because the staff are not very welcoming No tray no fork just chucked in some wrap, disappointing

I popped in here for cheeky Fish and Chips having just finished a job in Sheffield - fabulous mini fish & chips with curry sauce. The fish was super fresh, perfectly white & flaky in a crisp, non-greasy, crunchy batter, with the chips yummy and the curry sauce double yummy. A great find & at the price point an absolute steal.

Googled the best chippy in Sheffield and this came top. I got the mini fish and chips with peas and fish was dry and stale. The chips scored 8/10 and peas 4/10. Didn't score the fish because wasn't impressed..

This is very well set up fish bar staff very warm and welcoming most helpful, and ready to serve whats on much varid menu I have spam fritters they cook to perfection no wheelchair access but the staff ready to assist were possible yes highly recommend this fish bar is most helpful will go as often possible thanks for serving great food

Rang up on bank holiday Monday just to check that their open she said hello. I said just checking you was open before I set off as its a 20 min walk. She said yes were open thats why I've answered and put phone down. Really rude not getting my custom

Well established chippy ,nice and clean ,all food they serve there is always top notch ,I have never complained or need to Re-run any food there what's so ever ,best to go there after off peak save having to sue sometimes especially on Friday early evenings ,the que can be off putting ,especially in this current pandemic, but if you don't mind waiting you won't be disappointed, prices reasonable ,as the do a few price specials ,the only down side is the price of buying a normal cod pice is not cheap theses days especially if your buy for a family but this is price of God in general so it is a criticism of the chippy it's self as the price is similar around others chippy as well..but overall a nice well established quality chippy .

Always lovely food from here. Staff are friendly and helpful but on Sunday, the young girl got distracted by her friend when we visited and didnt give us all of what we ordered. Food was still excellent though!

Fish and chips not bad, however the costumer service is absolutely terrible by far the worst costumer service in Sheffield. Been twice now and vow never to go back again the women who serve there need to be sacked so unbelievably rude an unprofessional. I have found out am not the only one who will not be returning due to this service.

Proper fish and chips cooked in dripping as they always should be, taste is superb. Not the biggest portions but excellent quality more than makes up for that.
