Nice place for the halal food. Nice atmosphere and helpful staff.

Visited with family last night . Nando’s is always our go to for a day out and have been to loads different places. This was by far the worst experience ever for me. The service was not great. Asked to change drinks to bottomless as my son had ordered a wrong one and the waitress didn’t seem impressed even though we were very polite and apologetic. My sisters chicken was under cooked even though she had asked for it to be well cooked on ordering . When we asked the member of staff he wasn’t very impressed and rolling eyes 😒. I ordered coleslaw and my goodness have never tasted one like it before. It was so different from what I have had before and could not make out what was wrong with it. Had diarrhea and vomit 🤮 straight away on my way home. First and last for me at this place 🤮

I was verbally abused by a Dark Black well built 6 foot ish male with cornrow braids and a small face. He stated abusive slurs and then continued to call us autistic and accused us of saying the n word because we did not tip him. He wanted us to tip him in return for a free drink and dessert and continuously said “ f- that “ and more inappropriate language.. Both of the managers then proceeded to be awkward when I complained to them of the ill-natured employee. They did not provide the mans names so a figure of the man is attached below.

Had lunch here with a mate a few days ago. Really like the design revamp, it needed it after not changing things up since this location first opened. I had my go to sides (piri chips and macho peas) but tried their new wrap and it was delightful the avocado and pickled red cabbage married perfectly with that fire chicken that we all now and love. If you like chicken, you'll love Nando's.

I recently visited Nando's at 10 PM, and while the food was as good, I was quite disappointed with something I observed towards closing time. Instead of properly sealing the sauce bottles with their caps, the staff simply covered them with a sheet. This method struck me as unhygienic and concerning, as it could easily lead to contamination. For a place that prides itself on quality, I expected better attention to hygiene practices. I hope Nando's addresses this issue to ensure a safer dining experience for all customers.

Ordered whole chicken that cost bloody £18.50. All i get was a baby chicken. So expensive and the peri2 doesn’t taste like peri2 as well. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone

The service was absolutely amazing - some of the best service I’ve had in ages. We were sat in between a load of school kids but they made sure we were extra taken care of and comfortable!! The food was great too and we went on the day they gave out Saka sauce which is insanely good! Thank you to the amazing team and Jasmine especially!!

Great fast service at lunch times

I visited here over the weekend, was extremely busy, and waited approximately 20 mins. It was 100% worth it, staff were very friendly, greeted with a warm smile upon entrance. Food was exceptional and the waiting staff were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone that's not been in a while. Food was 10/10.

Food is standard. Staff below standard. Just had my leg kicked by the waitress who just walked off and her mate laughed. When I looked at them, she said “well it is your leg sticking out” Yes I’m aware of that - but when you kick someone’s leg, it’s polite to at a minimum acknowledge it and have a mutual apology. Not laugh and walk off and giggle with your mate. Why can we not get the staff anywhere these days. It’s infuriating.

We were seated quickly for how busy the restaurant was. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend the accommodation for quality food.

Had a very limited food menu, only burgers or wings the day I went, most likely they had no delivery that day but for being such a big establishment they should have everything in order, the new design layout its much better than the previous one.

Ordered loaded fries and there was a large bone in the meal, which the menu clearly doesn't state. Spoke to the manager he claimed that it said it online, however we did not order online and on the physical menu it didn’t state that. We stated if the meal was ordered for baby it wouldn’t have been good. He became sarcastic and said well you wouldn’t order that for a kid because of spices. Which is wrong when ur supposed to be having a nice experience with friends. Then he came over again beginning to become agitated with us. We asked for a refund he refused as stated that online it said there was bone even though we used menu. However another person came over who understood where we was coming from and provided us with a refund which we was happy about. However not happy with the manager and how he acted when he is supposed to be professional and a higher individual within the branch.

Never been to Nando’s before. Restaurant was busy, good atmosphere there and clean. I asked for my chicken well done - I checked three times at the order point. I could tell the team member had taken no notice. My chicken wasn’t well done when it was served. I sent it back and just said I asked for it well done (I have all meats cooked this way). A member of staff came over and asked what I meant. I explained and the food was returned to me more well done. The food was tasty and I enjoyed my meal but I won’t return. It maybe that I made an odd request but a couple of days prior I was at another restaurant and also asked for chicken to be well done - there wasn’t a problem and I only asked once with out then having to explain myself.

I cannot fault anything as I go every week but what I saw was shocking… As I was ordering from the corner of my eye I seen a member of staff bring a bowl of chicken from the back to fill the drawer under the grill… He literally used his foot to open the drawer and then threw the chicken in and closed the drawer with his foot… not very good at all…

The table and floor were sticky, the menus were scruffy and covered in dried food, had to rummage through for clean utensils, Food was good, cleanliness and attention to detail let the restaurant down to say it wasn't a busy period.

It's alright but not amazing. The foods tasty enough but the options just don't seem to go together. I like tenderstem brocoli but does it go with 1/2 chicken and spice rice or coleslaw?? There were hardly any sauces left for is to choose from - the shelf was empty except for hot sauce so was constantly looking to see when anything had been brought back. There's a better/nicer Nandos in Meadowhall which isn't too far away.

Quick service, very prompt. Managers are very nice they allow us to call and book a table as sometimes one of our people we go to Nandos with suffers from a medical condition restricting them from being in a crowded place for to long waiting. The staff do an amazing job and best of all the Resturant is halal. Great vibes, great customer care, and great location. Plenty of parking available for you outside and around centertainment. They also give blue light discount but only to NHS staff members.

Today I experienced a lovely dinner date with my partner , atmosphere was great staff was lovely and a big shout to Jazmine ( jasmine ) as we got in , made our order , she then came over within 2 minutes let us know that their would be a delay with our food, so she offered a complementary starter whilst we waited . It was all great in general . Thanks

Didn't have food just drinks. Played pool on the table near the bar but to be honest it's in the wrong place because of being too close to other customers. In danger from the cue. Also the balls we used were weren't correct. 2 of each ball almost. Also the cue ball kept getting stuck in the gully after going down the pockets. We must have six times for the ball to be got out. Frustrating to say the least but staff didn't grumble at such a busy time

For Halal information only - The "halal" chicken provider for Nandos is Freemans of Newent. Freeman's state on their website they can't guarentee the animal isn't already dead before they Slaughter. It's a grey area and there is no grey area in what's Halal. If it doesn't bother you then no worries. HMC certified chicken is the only one that don't stun and no grey area. I used to eat here myself and the service was superb that's why left good stars as its not fair to give Nando's Sheffield - Valley Centertainment a bad score for service. Obviously after finding out this information now I can no longer eat the meat here. Again this review is more to give the halal HMC certified customers the heads up that this isn't HMC certified food. The rest is upto you 👌

Food was as good as ever but there was a hair on one of the chips and the cutlery in the main pot was covered with dried in food. One of our meals was brought out immediately alongside a starter however the second meal didn’t come out until around 25 minutes after ordering

I would like to say even though I could see “Sadie” was already busy serving various customers at once she still had time to help me with my collection in a polite, professional manner.

Jason the shift manager was really amazing, we were a table of 14 and he really looked after us from start to finish! Thankyou was such a lovely stress free visit because or you. :)

Visited on Sunday night. Food was lovely, However it made me feel and was ill through the food eaten here. This hasn't happened with any other nandos. Will not be returning to this branch.

Service is always spot on. The staff go out of their way to make the experience as nice as possible especially considerate of kids that are with us. This is our favourite Nando’s restaurant for service and food! Yasmin was great at making sure we got a table knowing we had a son with special needs and she remembered us as regulars too which helped with not having to explain things over again!

Food is consistent with others in the chain that I have visited and quick to arrive. Staff were a little awkward and hovering around tables as not many customers in during our visit.

I came here with family on a Saturday evening, so expected it to be busy. And it was. The greeter gave us an accurate estimate of how long we'd have to wait for a table. We ordered drinks while we waited for the table, and the server was kind enough to bring them over to us. When we got our table, it hadn't been cleaned properly. I guess this was because everyone was so busy, but still a little disappointing. The service was a bit slow, but this was probably just due to how busy they were. I could see the kitchen was flat-out cooking chicken. The quality of the food was really good. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would come here again for hot chicken. My only real criticism is about the size, space and layout. It seems to be much too small for the volume of customers. At one point there were so many people waiting they were having to hang around next to diners' tables. The sauces are in a different place to the seasonings which are in a different place to the cutlery and napkins. This makes for a lot of wandering about in a fairly crowded restaurant. Other than that, a really good Nando's restaurant.

Finally went to Nandos after being hesitant about it for years. I actually really enjoyed myself and the food was really good. The only downside to my visit is that there were a few out of control children banging and screaming which should have been addressed. I'd say places like this aren't appropriate for young children but is a really good place to enjoy some good food.

Great service and good cooked to perfection.

They’ve redone the place it’s really nice and allows for more people to be seated which is great cause wait time has decreased! Food was great, did take a long time for our food to get to us but otherwise really good experience.

The food was nice here but a little expensive for what it was. The decorations were great and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

First and last visit, overpriced chicken n chips. 8 quid for a small plate of oven chips

I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Nandos Valley Centertainment for making my daughters 18th birthday meal such a lovely evening. We had a party of 25 guests and they dealt with it with such ease. Everything was Excellent and everyone of us really enjoyed it. Thank you so much from the Leary family.

extremely rude service so called manager “Tanya” thought she’d serve raw chicken and then make me pay for another, and it was fine to give it me 10 minutes later. After all my sides have gone cold. Took her 15 minutes to realise that the chicken she bought back was also raw offered to grill it again. Then she thought it was professional to throw my money on the table. Disgusting service

We've been to the Nando's on Centertainment many times. Never had any problems at all. It's always busy, and that completely understandable as the footfall is way higher as its next to the cinema and Hollywood bowling. Service, food and hygiene have always been great.

It was very busy with a rather short queue at the front. It took 20 30 minutes until we were seated. After ordering, the food arrived super fast. Delicious as usual.

Been to Nandos centertainment branch many times. It's halal and the food is gooood. Chicken livers are a must to try if you like them. Don't forget to get your points on your card.

Found it very disappointing not a lot to choose from had chicken with chips and garlic bread said crispy skin on chicken it was soft could not eat it small portion of chips and think they forgot to put garlic in garlic hard bread can honestly say never again

Visited again on 18.08.2023. The restaurant is filthy and really needs a deep clean. The portion sizes are very small. So unless you have chips with it you leave hungry even though its expensive. The chicken skin was not crisped either. Very disappointed with Nandos as we wont be back. Sadly the food isn't as good as it used to be.

We had a good experience apart from the slow the service as it was a Sunday lunchtime. All the food was tasty. A few things that disappointed us on the visit was that there was not enough sauce for all the tables, took a while to get the refillable drinks glass. But all in all it was a good visit.

Have been to this nandos a million times as this is the only halal one .Their garlic bread is always terrible. Ambience is 2/10

Extremely poor service! Told glasses had to go through the dishwasher so would be brought to my table. Never received so went to ask about them. They had been put under the counter. After 25 minutes of ordering the food, I asked when it would come. The till wasn't working so the order hadn't gone though. 50 minutes wait in total.

Only scoring lower on Nandos as to me it feels like being in a factory. Where the end product is great. But it suffers from any character or hidden gems on the menu.

In terms of food they are fine but they have the poorest service. The staff doesn’t have the idea how to accommodate guests during the peak hours. We waited for table of 6 for around 20 mins despite we have noticed that in few table of 6 only two people were sitting and seatings for 2 was empty.

Very busy as usual. Was led to a table and seating that was very unclean and had to ask someone to clean. Food took long and the water machine was broken. Would advise going to another Nando’s if possible.

Please don't come here to dine in guys!!!! Cuz their "waitresses" idk how do they call themselves waitresses lol are very arrogant, no smile for God's sake. No such customer service and no experience in serving their customers whatsoever.... 😳!!!!!! My family and I were so so disappointed with such service. It's not even called a service sorry but our table was not cleaned properly until we asked the lady to do it so and when she did it, she did it without any interest and seemed mad as if we humiliated her or something :/... Please if you are going to work as a waitress make sure you clean the tables properly for hygiene standards. Make sure you listen to your customers' needs and help them! It's not like we are degrading you or offending you. It's part of your job and must be done precisely. Also the plates were served just after the food was delivered lol. No proper serving experience at all 😞!!! Our chicken breast was half done to be honest and chewy from the inside. Also we had stomach aches at night from their chicken I swear. Just order for take out or delivery and stay relaxed without all this hassle at home. Dine in is a BIG NO NO. I really wish the manager does something to such issues, reach to a proper solution and take my review into consideration. Cuz they prepare yummy sides only, However, services and waitresses are unbelievable!!!

Although the restaurant was half empty, we were informed of a 30-minute wait time by a staff member at the entrance. However, within three minutes, we noticed two other staff members joining the first one stood in a circle, engaging in laughter and jokes, suggesting that the staff might be exaggerating wait times. We counted nine staff members in total, yet we witnessed three groups of customers leave after being told of a 45-minute wait time. We observed that most customers waited around 10-15 minutes for a table, but our experience was different. After waiting for 40 minutes, a staff member informed us that they had removed our name from the waiting list as we shared the same name as another customer.

A bit disappointed. We came in around noon. Food and drinks were very good but we had some issues with staff. It took a while for our food and drinks to come. Normally we would be patient on a busy day but the girls seemed to just be standing around chatting with each other as opposed to monitoring the dining area. Not worth the wait.

This Halal Nando's is closest to motorway on M1 in Sheffield area and I often order online for collection. The food is always tasty and hot and packed nicely. Sometimes I dine in which is also a five star experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful and this restaurant is one of my favourites. The only thing that has put me off is that they've removed Mango and Lime from their menu.

Quickest service I've ever received in a nandos, with everything fresh and piping hot off the grill. However, let down was hygiene; toilets were unclean, tables were sticky as were all of the bottles of sauces. They need to clean them and wipe them down, it's disgusting and off-putting. The menus even had sauce stuck between the pages. The food is just excellent and the staff are helpful. They just need to give the place a good clean and it's a 10/10 nandos! Also - it's halal so that's always a massive bonus.

Worst Nandos in Sheffield by a long shot. Every time I got there, I always have to send a food item back, it’s not that hard to get it right. Just chicken and chips after all. Fix up guys, absolutely shocking.

I used to love this branch but honestly the standard of food has gone down hill. Had the full platter and the chicken was tough, the sweetcorn was boiled and barely cooked on the grill. Also if you’re waiting for a table you have to remain on the premises and it is complete chaos and no where to stand!

It was my second time visiting this nandos with my family. The food was cold. Workers were horrible and shouting at customers waiting for a table to move in when there was no space as it was so busy. They started to give a male who said there was no space dirty looks and attitude when serving him. The food took about over an hour to come. No one smiling as they served people, they were miserable the whole shift, seeming as though they didn’t want to serve customers. Thanks for reading.
