Food was better than several of the reviews suggested. Yes it is a bit pricey but the coffee was good and it is dog friendly. The staff were nice but they could do with paying a bit more attention to the little things ... A fork with a scone, seriously? No knives in the knife container, we had to go back and ask. Friendly and sociable atmosphere.

Nice place, me and my mum called in. The food was nice but a little expensive, £26 for a panini, a toastie, 1 small portion of chips and 2 drinks. We didn't eat the small pot of coleslaw on the side, pink/purple coleslaw didnt look appetising but we would go again maybe for a coffee and a bun.

2x hot drinks ( large) , 2x 2 scoop ice creams + 2 large chocolate flapjack pieces - £22. Iced latte -£3.50 very tasty. Good size. Jacket potato (large ) with cheese & baked beans (+ decent side salad)in a box - £5. Very tasty , good portion, well cooked. Fresh. Reasonable priced food - various sandwiches & cooked food available. Kids meals as well. Good system using individual buzzers for customers waiting for food. Meaning you could sit at your, tables until "called". The reality was the staff generally brought the food on a regular basis as it was ready. Staff working well, pleasant , well mannered & helpful. Busy ,busy .. but seats inside & out. Nice clean environment. Cutlery ( both wooden & steel) & various condiments available at different 'stations' . Stations were clean as well.- So no attraction for rodents or wasps/flies. Toilets nearby were clean & usable. Bins not overflowing despite being a busy day. Near to the Rivelin Water park & the trail itself. Fleece blankets available inside for colder days. Nice grassed area nearby to sit aswell. Flat level entrance so wheelchair accessible. Wide walkways. Slight gradient from the main road/ parking. Highly Recommended. Would definitely go back here.

This is a busy cafe with seating indoors and outdoors. It is dog friendly which is important as it's on the Rivelin valley walk, close to the car parking, toilets and kiddies play area. The food is freshly made so isn't instant unless you're buying packaged food like biscuits or crisps. Our food was substantial and we all enjoyed it so would recommend this place. My one quibble is that queuing seems a tad chaotic. It's difficult to know who is queuing to order and who is queuing for takeaways.

We waited 25 minutes for 2 coffees. When they eventually arrived they were tasteless and lukewarm. They looked and tasted like dishwater. Either the coffee machine is in desperate need of cleaning or they had run out of coffee and we got 3 grains each. We had to leave it as it was so bad. It was a shame as its the first time we've been ...and sadly will be the last.

We visited just after lunch time which was very busy, some meals seem decent value, while others seemed a little high (£12+ for breakfast (which wasn't any bigger than your average kids portion) and a Mocha, But only £6 for a Kids meal, where the Sandwiches - 4 large, thick slices of bread) ended up being half wasted. There was a lovely atmosphere though, but staff seemed rushed, and didn't smile or say thankyou, and wandered of twice while serving us, food was served quite quickly though considering this was about 12:30/1pm The atmosphere was lovely tough, and deservedly keeps the 4 stars overall

Visited today (26.09.23) with a group of friends and was hugely disappointed by the service at the cafe. The lady (more senior lady with tattoos) who took my order was ‘off’ for no apparent reason, just seemed quite cold when I was being pleasant. The food was ok, cheese and ham toastie and coffee was expensive for what it was. Unfortunately there was a very rude man smoking next to me and my friends on the patio area, we were all with small children so I politely asked if he could move to another area to smoke and he was extremely rude and eventually went inside the cafe after being extremely offensive. One of my friends pointed out that there was a no smoking sign on the patio which he had blatantly missed. The manager type lady came out and in an accusatory voice said we had been rude to the man in question- not asking us what had happened or following up with talking to the man about their policy of no smoking! It would have been nice for her to listen to what had happen without speaking to us in such a rude manner. Will not be returning any time soon. To say she works in a customer facing role, she needs to really brush up on her customer service skills!

A very disappointing experience. The drinks were lukewarm (although not a major issue in itself), but compounded by no food after 40 mins (we'd been advised of a 20 min wait which was fine given it was a busy bank holiday). On querying, we were then told it would be another half an hour. On politely asking for a refund, was then kept waiting for another 10 mins until the manager could get out of the kitchen. And who then started to argue we'd been advised of at least a half hour wait and they "were very busy". We know it was busy and appreciate that orders can build up, but this is not a great way to deal with your paying customers when they have an issue. Eventually a refund was grudgingly given, but no apology or acceptance that there had been a problem. As I say, disappointing.

We both opted for cheese on toast at a cost of £4 per portion and we given the choice of white or granary; both choosing granary we sat outside and waited. After about 6 or 7 minutes we were presented with 2 (small) polystyrene boxes. Each box contained ONE slice (bearing in mind it was FOUR POUNDS) of very sweaty food. The "toast" using the term very loosely was, if at all, given the VERY briefest of introductions to the grill before having a cheese topping and returned to the heat until it had just about melted then cut into quarters and squashed into the polystyrene container. Having said that, the cheese was admittedly mildly tasty, it just nowhere near worth the money. If you do decide to eat here, make sure you choose something that (a) has been cooked properly (b) value for money. Left feeling very disappointed ... though the dogs didn't as they had a fair bit of it as neither of us found it enjoyable.

They even cook a sausage and cut it up for the dog, which she appreciates very much! It can get very busy so sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but that's to be expected. It could really do with another person just to serve ice cream.. Once we'd ordered, we weren't waiting long for our drinks to arrive which to be honest, weren't marvellous. Covid restrictions had relaxed on the Monday so couldn't see the issue nor was the server wearing a mask so clearly wasn't too concerned. A large family group entered behind us who's children were running all around the cafe yet she said nothing to them. Put off and upset by her attitude opted for a slice of cake rather than a meal and it was just a melted piece of chocolate. If I could give this place a 0 star I would honestly the worst experience I have had at Nadia I’m not the type of person to complain but was honestly awful. Firstly the peri mayonnaise from the kitchen which I’m guessing was home made had almost a nail polish scent and tasted burnt a taste I couldn’t describe so i asked a member of staff if they could smell it and she didn’t bother or seem interested in the slightest she said she had the already made package one instead of the one from the kitchen. Then when we was still having ours starters the mains come out and the imitator wrap had the same peri mayo we complained about which I would’ve thought they would change but they didn’t. Then I asked another member of staff who was around 6ft dark skin with braids we explained the situation and he said “what do you want me to do “ which was very unprofessional and he was so rude. Then when we had finished not even that we actually finished our meal we was just so unsatisfied with the experience a man asked how it was and I said awful and politely asked to speak to the manager. When I explained all of this, he seemed uninterested and didn’t give a good enough reason on why we still had the same sauce what was given to use which was un edible he wasn’t apologetic in the slightest he offered me a voucher which I don’t want as Ask it was £30 just for myself and has ruined my experience at all nandos what I didn’t want I would have preferred a refund Terrible staff and terrible food don’t go 😡🤮

Food looks good from the outside but tasteless and greasy / fatty Onion rings dripping with oil. Somewhat undercooked. Garrison Burger extremely greasy and over cooked unseasoned Burger contained chorizo which had been burnt to a crisp and still sent out to my table. As photographed. Bun was dry and chewy (stale) With the burger named after the venue, I expected nice food. Coleslaw was chewey making me think it’s been sat around a while Portion sizes were generous, but I’d rather quality over quantity. Venue decor is dated and needs refreshing, but overall pretty clean. Bathroom was again dated in need of refreshing. Floor visually dirty at time of visit Good selection of beers, stunning building exterior. Old till system meant receiving my refund in cash and waiting around. Burger £14.50

Small coffee shop located upstairs in Sandersons Store. Clean and tidy, decent Costa coffee what you would expect, good selection of snacks. Toilets are to the rear of the store same floor.
