Good prices, and staff, nice muffin today, good to get them hot

This is only the 2nd time i have been, but the food was just as amazing as last time, it was hot, fresh and beautiful, the apple pie ( locally baked) and custard was so tasty, and the staff brilliant, beth who served in the restaurant was extremely cheerful and chatty, took time to get to chat with customers, and always had a smile on her face, the other staff were fantastic too, but we didn't catch their names. KEEP IT UP

Not a bad Spoonz fast service and the food was tasty and hot.

My first time here today can I say that the food was lovely and delicious 😋 I really enjoyed my meal very nice and tasty 😋 I had the scampi and chips and peas so nice and asked for bottle of water and some ice I got it they went above and beyond to help you and I can highly recommend this cafe also had a homemade scone with cream and jam so tasty 😋 10 plus out of 10

No hemos utilizado este chippie, desde hace algún tiempo, pero hoy necesitábamos un almuerzo rápido, y gratamente sorprendido, los servidores estaban en la pelota, muy educado. Pedimos dos pescados ligeramente rebozados, que se hicieron a la perfección, pedimos unas patatas fritas pequeñas, para compartir, y había un montón para dos personas. Eran sabrosos, bien cocinados, obviamente fish & chips, ya no son una comida "barata", pero creo que, obtienes una buena relación calidad-precio por el dinero ganado con tanto esfuerzo. Definitivamente volveré.

We met with friends at the cafe at Blue Hills Farm this morning. The experience we had was almost out of a comedy sketch and we ended up walking out after receiving refunds for what we had ordered. A regular of tea and a decaf tea were ordered. A cup of, tea (complete with teabag still in it) was almost bounced on he table. There was no saucer, spoon or milk supplied. We were told that there was no decaf so did we want anything else. The 'waitress' then walked off without waiting for a reply. Also, we tried to order an all day breakfast with one of the other members of staff. We were asked "large or small?". Having replied that we didn't realise there were two to choose from and asked what the difference was we were told "One is a bit bigger than the other". There was another customer group of three who had ordered and already been served with their food. They also commented to us upon the bad service. We have never felt so unwelcome in a cafe before. Ironically there was a 'Welcome' sign at the entrance to the cafe. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

We found the chicken real tasty , but they forgot our chips with our meals, so I paid £30 for some chicken peices and a portion of popcorn chicken, no1 answered the phone so luckily I got a refund from Uber eats

Very reasonable food for the cost. Menu variable and there are daily deals on the board. Special 2 for a tenner meals and a good children's menu.

Not sure what animal died for those meatballs.

Called at the Merry England Pack Horse Centre Huddersfield today 1st September. Ordered a Beef Sandwich with Onion, a Date crumble and an Eccels Cake. These were to take out. Got back home the Sandwich was fine. The Eccels cake was disgusting the currants were like a paste, the pastry was burned. The Date crumble was “ missing” not in the bag at all. As a previous customer I will think twice about going back. If that is the quality and type of service it has come too.

suprised at previous bad reviews. We were a group of 18 cyclist. We had prebooked. We received a warm welcome and places had been reserved for us. The taking of the order was efficient and service was without delay, I had a fried egg bap and tea which was hot and tasty and reasonably priced. couldnt fault.

We had our wedding at the hotel, and everyone commented on how amazing the food was. Lots of choice and excellent service. The staff couldn't have done any more for us. We also stayed for breakfast which was a buffet. Everything was warm and fresh, and there was lots of choice. Would definitely recommend

Have been a couple of times before and the fish and chips were lovely so thought we would bring my father. We decided to venture into the restaurant bit as there was no available seating elsewhere. This was where our experience went wrong. Waited around while for someone to take our order and then waited and waited for our food. We waited half an hour for our food despite people being in and out of the chip shop bit within 5 mins. After 25 mins we asked where our food was and the lady said they were waiting on chips. Our pot of tea had gone cold and another drinks had been drunk. Finally our food came and two of the fish were very thin and the chips were a much smaller portion that you get from the counter. We paid £54 for the privilege of being ignored for half an hour when other fish and chips were being served from the counter for takeaway, their fish and chips costing &5 less than ours. We also learnt from a small sign on the wall facing away from us that they do a pensioners menu but we were never offered that despite my father looking all his 84 years. Wouldn’t return to the restaurant area again and would think twice about even visiting the place again

Had lunch here today, fish and chip meal with mushy peas, bread and butter plus tea £5. Reasonable, Staff friendly and welcoming, BUT needs a complete refurbishment, very dated furniture and decoration although it doesn't refelect the food which was delicious. Served quite quickly so I gues it depends what time you go as to how quickly you are served
