Been here lots of times. Today very busy, staff dealt with very professionally. Bit of a wait for food but worth it. Enjoyed our late breakfast.

Nothing much has changed since my last visit in 2019. Large eating area was hardly used - possibly because it was really cold in there. We were told that an engineer was promised to fix the heating in a day or so. The food was substantial but hardly inspiring. My steak pie was more mince than steak chunks. Cheap and cheerful sums it up. Coffee was ok and staff were cheerful, though cold.

Self served for hot drinks like wetherspoon, and ready to take dessert like a buffet, queued for hot food, payment at the counter after taking hot food ,dessert, and the empty cup for later adding coffee. Self clean table and return dishes to tray trolley, just like food court. Don't expect service and clean table. Food quality normal and standard. Remember to register for members for free coffee. No hemos utilizado este chippie, desde hace algún tiempo, pero hoy necesitábamos un almuerzo rápido, y gratamente sorprendido, los servidores estaban en la pelota, muy educado. Pedimos dos pescados ligeramente rebozados, que se hicieron a la perfección, pedimos unas patatas fritas pequeñas, para compartir, y había un montón para dos personas. Eran sabrosos, bien cocinados, obviamente fish & chips, ya no son una comida "barata", pero creo que, obtienes una buena relación calidad-precio por el dinero ganado con tanto esfuerzo. Definitivamente volveré.

We made an online order for home delivery. We ordered chicken and chips meal deal with drink and added chicken wings to the order. The food arrived on time and was piping hot. Large portions of both chicken pieces and chips. The chicken was very meaty and there were 4 large drumsticks and 2 breast pieces. The chips were also large portions and were nice and crispy but fluffy inside and not at all greasy. The meal actually served us for dinner and we had leftovers for lunch the following day. Would definitely use again.

Very reasonable food for the cost. Menu variable and there are daily deals on the board. Special 2 for a tenner meals and a good children's menu.

We met with friends at the cafe at Blue Hills Farm this morning. The experience we had was almost out of a comedy sketch and we ended up walking out after receiving refunds for what we had ordered. A regular of tea and a decaf tea were ordered. A cup of, tea (complete with teabag still in it) was almost bounced on he table. There was no saucer, spoon or milk supplied. We were told that there was no decaf so did we want anything else. The 'waitress' then walked off without waiting for a reply. Also, we tried to order an all day breakfast with one of the other members of staff. We were asked "large or small?". Having replied that we didn't realise there were two to choose from and asked what the difference was we were told "One is a bit bigger than the other". There was another customer group of three who had ordered and already been served with their food. They also commented to us upon the bad service. We have never felt so unwelcome in a cafe before. Ironically there was a 'Welcome' sign at the entrance to the cafe. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Called at the Merry England Pack Horse Centre Huddersfield today 1st September. Ordered a Beef Sandwich with Onion, a Date crumble and an Eccels Cake. These were to take out. Got back home the Sandwich was fine. The Eccels cake was disgusting the currants were like a paste, the pastry was burned. The Date crumble was “ missing” not in the bag at all. As a previous customer I will think twice about going back. If that is the quality and type of service it has come too.

suprised at previous bad reviews. We were a group of 18 cyclist. We had prebooked. We received a warm welcome and places had been reserved for us. The taking of the order was efficient and service was without delay, I had a fried egg bap and tea which was hot and tasty and reasonably priced. couldnt fault.

We had our wedding at the hotel, and everyone commented on how amazing the food was. Lots of choice and excellent service. The staff couldn't have done any more for us. We also stayed for breakfast which was a buffet. Everything was warm and fresh, and there was lots of choice. Would definitely recommend

Ad’t ordassity to ask for £5.10 wiyart even seyyin’ please or even crackin’ a smiyle. Aleft t’ eat it in’t car anna wo jus’ too annoy’d to even enjoy it. It dint even fill’t tea cake mi first bite wo bred an’ butter. £5.10!! Really? Dote fink al b’ bak any time soon.

Had lunch here today, fish and chip meal with mushy peas, bread and butter plus tea £5. Reasonable, Staff friendly and welcoming, BUT needs a complete refurbishment, very dated furniture and decoration although it doesn't refelect the food which was delicious. Served quite quickly so I gues it depends what time you go as to how quickly you are served
