Friendly staff and service unfortunately downhill from there. I found the following. Overcooked chips, hard. Chicken breast was chewy, needed cooking longer. Coating was falling off of the wings. 80p for cheap tasting sour cream dip. Free tomato ketchup but this also was cheap and not pleasant tasting. First and last time I'm afraid.

Eatery was filthy. £12 for two pieces of chicken and chips. Ordered gravy it didn’t arrive until my chips were cold. Rude staff not sure if he is the delivery guy walked in pushed past us didn’t say excuse me. Tables in the dirty eatery were full of people not even eating just sat down watching you. Not sure if they worked here also.

Ordered a popcorn chicken meal no 6 and a gataeux cake through the online ordering website yesterday evening. Absoutley disgusting and vile!, popcorn chicken was burnt to beyond as were the sorry excuse for chips. Gataeux looked ok but oupon eating tasted horrible. Called the resturant through the app and a very rude man answered and was told that I couldn't have a refund and what followed was a 10 minute arguement backwards and forwards before being spoken to like me like something he had stepped in, only for him to REFUSE a refund and abruptly ended the call with no apology or solution just HUNG UP. DISGUSTING AVOID AT ALL COSTS DO NOT GO GO HERE VILE.

1st and last time we will order. Placed a delivery order, accepted by restaurant. Why order when they must have known couldn't fulfil order? Gave an hours notice of required delivery. 2 hours later no show. Rung, told "problem with drivers", and was on the way. After another half hour rung again, site said still open but no reply despite repeated rings. Eventually arrived, lukewarm and barely acceptable. Just go elsewhere! Truly shocking service

Waited 45 minuites for a chicken wrap after telling the manager we were sitting in watched him serve over 15 customers for takeaway and still had no food. Then walked upto desk and asked how long and was told *it'll be done when it's done and if you don't like it you can have your f*****g money back so we got our money back and went to Marsden's instead. Moral of this story If you want chicken just go somewhere else

Firstly I ordered in advance for a 6pm delivery but it came at 5pm, luckily we were in!! I ordered the chicken burger deal but couldn't tell you what the chicken tasted like due to the vat of coleslaw on it which also made the burger inedible and soggy. Also, the chips tasted like they were yesterday's left overs, even my 8 year old daughter wouldn't eat them. Second time of trying them and never again.

Ordered online arrived in good time and that was the only good thing about it chips were cheap frozen ones and badly cooked and absolutely tasteless the chicken was dry and again not much taste to it even the dog wouldn't touch it ! Never again will I order food from here !

I’ve been going to this place for over 12 months and the food as always been consistently excellent.I probably visit three times a month, either with my partner or my parents.The place is very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful . They is always somewhere to park , it might be a bit tight sometimes but plenty of spaces a one minute walk just further down the road they is a complex with loads of parking.Back to the food , we’ve mostly eaten in , they have a lovely diner style conservatory which is spacious.The chicken sandwich and wraps are really good , all of the fried chicken is amazing nice moist, crispy outside chicken and not dripping in oil , unlike the country’s most popular brand of fried chicken !!Great dips , Piri piri is my favourite check out the menu.I have eaten at loads of places , this is great food you will not be disappointed.

USED to be really good! New owners have changed the bread buns on the burgers for starters, quality of chicken is different too....WHY??? garbage now,standards have dropped off a cliff..good news tho old owners have reopened elsewhere I now know...steer clear of this joint,why new owners would destroy a good place is beyond me...then again,profit...it's a dirty word. Go to chicken shop in cleck...an it delivers

I had a wonderful experience with my order today. Think it was Ian the delivery man. So polite and outgoing. Would recommend as excellent service topped off with great meal.

I would definitely recommend this place, they even went out of their way to deliver my food (small subcharge)- was very worth it! The chicken is fresh and not at all dry. Not expensive either which is always a bonusDo give it a try if you’re thinking about ordering from here

Me n the late shift came here other night for tea. I had leg n chips which was really nice. For 2.75 it was worth it! Deffo come here again

A real "no frills" fried chicken joint. I've visited lots of times and never been disappointed. The chicken has always been piping hot, moist, perfectly cooked and the chips, although not the greatest around, are plentiful. The skin on the chicken is to die for - the Col himself should hang his head in shame in comparison!They offer a limited menu but what they offer is good quality and excellent value for money. The picture I posted does not show the size of the portions. They are HUGE!A three piece meal with chips would feed a Leeds Rhino player after a match and he'd not need anything more. The place is popular with young families, couples and weight trainers getting their post gym protein fix. There are many regular faces and I tend to eat alone as my partner is vegetarian.The hygiene rating is 5 star and that should reassure new customers that they're in safe hands. You are free to eat in or takeaway and I think they offer to cater for functions.The only gripes I have at all are, I think they should offer wet wipes to all customers as there's no way I could drive my car with such greasy hands. As a result I always get the key to the customer toilet and wash them there. Today the hand towel was grubby and broken. It just took the shine off my visit because it's all in place and the guys seem to be in cruise control. I didn't mention it to the staff as 2 of them had gone to the toilet themselves.This is the first time this has occurred but the staff should offer paper towels or some other hand drying option.It would have been 5 stars and I'm annoyed I can only give 4. I shall return and it'd be nice to see just a tad more pride in the place.

Llamado hoy y he de decir que disfrutamos de nuestra comida. tboutoughlyPedimos 2 x pechuga de pollo con patatas fritas y dos bebidas éxito además de un par de salsas de chili, todo por menos de 10 libras. 00, el área de descanso cafetería estaba limpio y el personal era agradable. Pero el pollo estaba impecable y las patatas fritas eran macizos en contraposición a stick patatas fritas finas.No dudaría en recomendar y sin duda volveremos.

Chicken no where as good as mardens,conned ,didn't say there was a delivery charge,spent over 15 quid and charged delivery,don't recommend and never use again

this was a really filling chicken meal, I have eaten at KFC many times and this place is cheaper than KFC and portions are loads bigger. I could hardly finish my chicken fillet sandwich, it was huge, with chips and drink. a selection of different sauces etc..If you want big chicken portions for less than KFC then this is your place.Doesn't have the trademark KFC Batter but that's is probably healthier to be honest.

Best chicken shop around our area, worth a visit. Very welcoming staff that produce a great product, if you want high quality fried chicken try this place. Clean and hygienic. Indoor and outdoor Seating area.

El tamaño de las porciones han reducido enormemente, y patatas fritas las patatas fritas 'chinky' no se cocinan suficientemente larga y siempre difícil dentro! Waited over and hour and 20 for chicken burger, chips and wings. The burger was that dry even the cat turned up her nose. Wings tasted real good.

Me encanta esta comida para llevar. La comida es impecable. - fresco sabroso pollo cocinado a la perfección. Nunca he tenido ninguna que ha sido hecha y demasiado seco. Patatas fritas grasa grande y bonito, una buena selección de salsas (incluso nos dieron el dueño para empezar haciendo un buen chapuzón cajún). Y si te gusta probar bocado nuggets de pollo tamaño son los mejores que hemos tenido. Las envolturas y sándwiches son buenas - de pollo y ensalada fresca. El personal y el propietario es muy amable y la higiene es excelente (algo que siempre busco en cualquier lugar de comida) que vale la pena probar.

Have had sit down and takeaway here and though ok should be or could be on a par with Marsden of Huddersfield. fresh chips could make all the difference as not many places seem to do their own these days

came here for lunch in the summer holidays and I really enjoyed the chicken and the milkshakes. I would recommend this for anyone that is either hungry or looking for somewhere to eat, It was extremely nice!

This is a cracking little place, tasty chicken take out or eat in, well worth a visit if you haven't tried it already.

I have experience working in a similar environment in the past working with similar products and equipment. The family decided to give this a go after driving past it several times. The first thing I have to say is that it was a busy Friday night and the staff coped well under pressure. I was disappointed as there wasn't a great deal of choice for boneless product, and what I ordered was unavailable but kindly they offered to remove the bone from some other pieces. Whilst the outer coating was tasty, the chicken itself was dry and seemed overheld to me. The chips were expensive considering they were just like any old oven chips you could buy in the supermarket, and the gravy was nothing to shout about. The mini burgers were definitely bigger than mini, but still quite basic and overpriced. It's not that this shop is bad, it's just that they don't seem to have much direction or creativity in their offering, so unfortunately it just comes across as average.This place could have a lot of potential as the staff had a good attitude and were helpful with menu choices when they were short of certain products, but ultimately what I was served wasn't of a particularly high standard and I could have bought the whole family something better than would've cost about half as much. I think we'll stick to KFC.

Popped in when walking past today. Unfortunately one member of staff eating in seating area. No staff on counter, after a couple of mins of being ignored, I left.From what I could see the food looked distinctly average, nothing better than any of the other local take aways. Prices though were stupidly expensive for the location. Will not bother again....

Even though it is situated at the end of my road, it's taken me a while to try it. But I am very glad I did! The chicken, salad and sauces are incredibly fresh! Have absolutely nothing to complain about and for what you get, it is mega cheap! Would recommend to any food lovers!
