Hadfields in Kirklees

suprised at previous bad reviews. We were a group of 18 cyclist. We had prebooked. We received a warm welcome and places had been reserved for us. The taking of the order was efficient and service was without delay, I had a fried egg bap and tea which was hot and tasty and reasonably priced. couldnt fault.

The worst breakfast sand-which i have ever had. The shop was bare with hardly anything in it. I had to wait an age for the sandwich and when it came it was 90% fat. It was honestly inedible.

Ordered a sandwich the bread was stale it was probably the worst sandwich I’ve ever had disgusting avoid ,don’t waste your money .

Honestly people stay away, the food is dated, poorly presented and the prices are astronomical to say the least. I decided to use Hadfields for 1 week buying the same sandwich (tuna and onion) with a pasty and drink, on all occasions the prices were different sometime 8.99 sometimes 10.25. The staff are not trained, nor competent i asked for a corned beef slice and was given a cornish pasty on two occasions - stay clear, save your money this place will be bought out sooner rather than later.

I went to Hadfields in Lepton, Huddersfield yesterday. It was about 10.45am. I ordered 2 turkey salad sandwiches on brown t cakes. I would have ordered a couple of vanilla slices or something similar but they didn’t have any in their cabinet. In fact they had only got like jam pasty, currant pasty.. pieces of sprinkled cake or large cookies which looked like they had been there days. Just thought it was unusual that they didn’t have fresh cakes. Anyway paid for the sandwiches which cost just short of £10 which I thought was extortionate as it was only the cheap turkey roll and a bit of salad. When I got home to have them with my Daughter the brown t cakes were stale. I would have taken them back but it was a good drive away. Will never shop at Lepton Hadfields again.

I will never go into Hatfields in linthwaite again dirty grubby shop with fridge not working . Asked for a well done bacon and egg sandwich with fresh tomatoes ended up with strange tasting underdone greasy bacon tasteless tinned tomatoes and over done egg spat first mouthful rest went in bin and that was the highlight . Also ordered a vanilla slice that had to be a week old soggy pastry bitty nasty custard and the iceing ran off in the bag . If you're going to overcharge for food it has to be at least fresh no wonder Hatfields reputation in Huddersfield is rock bottom .

£4.90 for a plain chicken tikka sandwich. Not good value. I'll stick to the Merrie England from now

Too expensive 2 samwichies and a cheese and onion pasty was 11 pound 96 not good value at all hope things change

I called at the Milnsbridge shop, staff really friendly and chatty,I ordered a ham salad teacake, it was lovely loads of filling highly recommended

Just been again to Hadfields at Paddock .. Absolutely love the ladies there, super polite & helpful .. & your sausage rolls are So much nicer than Greggs ..

I’m confident the food here poisoned me. It’s the only food I ate in the last 24 hours that I did not eat in the proceeding days. There was also a good amount of pork. It was also half of what came up. I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price and to make it even worse it is not even close to authentic, whitewashed food would definitely give it a zero if I could. Very rude and reluctant Come here if you want attitude.

I went to Hadfields in Cleckheaton for a plain Tuna Sandwich. I was charged £3.35 for this and it wasn't even that big! I shudder to think what it would have cost with salad. I was the only one in there, think I will stick to Greggs in future; for the same price you can get a large filled Bagette and a drink!

Just been to Hadfields on Lindley . Bought a Chicken Salad sandwich. Charged me £4.44 !!!. Far too expensive. Wont be going again.

cold sandwiches very good pies good. apart from the sponge products very hard like days old not tasty. Not like 20 year's ago it was top of list seems a bit run down.

Went to the hadfields in golcar today with work friends, walked in to a blunt rude and unfriendly response which wasn’t a good start. Looking in the fridge they was nothing really empty. The tuna looked so dry and like it had been in the fridge for a week all crusty on top. I decided on a turkey sandwich on brown with salad cream it was so dry I thought I was going to choke on it, it took me a full bottle of water to get it down. Definitely won’t be going to any hadfields again. Really put off. I would advise anyone else not to go aswell. Terrible food

Staff rude, eye rolling and sighing when asking for prices, made to feel like an inconvenience not a customer

Beautiful food. Friendly staff, student discount available upon request. If you want a nice butty, and are prepared to pay a little bit extra for it, this place is perfect. However you do get your monies worth, with generous, good quality fillings, beautiful cakes and treats

I have used the Milnsbridge shop of Hadfields for years and they used to be good value and quality. Not anymore, the last two times I have been in the bread was stale and the fillings look like they had been sat for a while and had gone dry and the meat was curling up. The sausage rolls were not nice at all. The prices keep going up but the quality has gone down. Wont be using them again.

Avoid the Netherton shop. As a member of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service I use Hadfields all around Huddersfield because you can generally be assured of a very high standard of hygiene and of the food being served. However, after my recent visit to the Netherton Branch I will be re-thinking where I go in the future. The woman serving proved to be nothing more than a slop jockey. The salad that she DUMPED on my bap was soggy and obviously not fresh. The Chicken Tikka was discoloured and looked as if it was older than that that should be served. More fool me for not walking out, but I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

Hatfield’s as to be one of the best bakers in Huddersfield. Good selection of cakes and bread. Their own Yorkshire Parkin is a must try Item

I ordered a sausage bacon and egg sandwich and to my horror when it arrived I got nothing but a plain t cake as they had run out!!! What sort of sandwich shop is this!

For the second time in 4 visits... No HAM in my HAM SALAD !!!! Staff clearly not trained in customer service. Food ok.

Avoid Hadfields's at Netherton went Wednesday with a group of work colleagues didn't even stay in the shop for longer than 5 minutes because the woman serving was coughing on the food as we walked into the shop, display cabinet was untidy and very unappealing my colleague cancelled his order and we left! Due the horrible personal hygiene of the staff the company lost out on £40+ by us leaving!

Un cliente de años, pero no más. Linthwaite llamado de la sucursal y me dijeron que no podía ser servido un bocadillo como la tienda cerraba en 20 minutos. Eso es realmente mala! Un par de días más tarde probé Slaithwaite en 14.30 y pedí un bocadillo de jamón. La respuesta fue "si no consigues aquí antes del 1 de reloj o no habrá ningún jamón izquierda". Pedir más...... Muy mala atención al cliente rozando la mala educación... No se puede permitir mantener perder clientes...

Compramos un sandwich de carne y cebolla en escabeche este mediodía de Newsome, R.U.. Cuando llegué a casa descubrí que casi cualquier carne sobre el pastel de té y demasiado cebolla y unos 4 cucharadas de mayonesa. Tuve que tomar más de la mitad de la cebolla y arañar fuera del descuento en mayo. El pastel fue todo empapadas con vinagre y no pude probar la carne. Tuve que tirarlo. Malgastar mi dinero y me falta algo. No regularmente comprar bocadillos de varias panaderías hadfield y siempre encantador. Quizás la señorita que me atendió las necesidades de una lección sobre cómo hacer un sándwich.

What a wonderful bakery! Everything made fresh that morning. Full range of hot & cold fresh sandwiches and nice cakes & buns. Staff friendly, try the hot roast beef with gravy! Yum yum!

we go to hadfields twice a week for our lunch butties + extras. their always good + tasty, the other day i bought a large meat + potato pie for our tea, which went down well with chips + gravy.

we visit here on a regular basis. this bakery/takeaway has everything for your bakery needs + butties/cakes/salads/soups/drinks. there are seats by the window if you'd like to watch the world go by, they have a 'toasty' rack with day old goods at half price that are still fresh or good for toast. the butties are well filled and the staff are quick + pleasant.

hadfields is a bakery/ takeaway/eat in is a local treasure. we go once or twice a week for butties + buns its always busy , so that speaks for itself. sandwiches/ salads/ savouries / pastries , cakes+ buns/ fresh breads as well as soups + hot items too!. spoilt for choice. you can eat at the high table and watch the world go by. staff are friendly and efficient and prices are very good for the generously filled fare.
