BBQ pulled pork burger & Ham, egg and chips were delicious. Fantastic quality and you can’t fault the amount you get either! Staff were friendly and attentive. If I was being nit picky, it would have been nice to have a bottle of sauce instead of a plastic pot- but the visit was amazing, this is always the cafe I come to in Easingwold. Thank you!

My friend ordered soup. Which came in a coffee cup with not very fresh bread.. very small amount for over £7.. j had a scone and tea. .the place was empty 2 tables outside was occupied. This cafe used to be rammed and would have to wait fir a table.. it was nearly 12 so should have booked busy. Prices through the roof.. staff just stood drinking coffee and nattering behind counter. Clock still not put forward and it was literally just above till area. I did make comments about food and was asked if was just joking.. really ??? Very very poor Yorks.. I used to frequent.. but afraid no more. My customer will go elsewhere..

Apparently changed hands since we booked( previous run by a couple ) the reviews were what made us book ,,it’s now as though the new owners are still not upto speed with the business ,never saw them . The young lad Daniel who seems to be running front of house and everything else is doing a marvellous job with the lack of staff the room was large and comfortable but little things in housekeeping could be looked at and I pointed this to Daniel he was so apologetic and was going to try and remedy the issue , day 1 of our stay breakfast was lovely and hot ,I only saw one other couple ,on day 2 the restraunt was full the service slower, again Daniel and one young lady on duty ,the food was good but the plates were cold so made the food luke warm,,such a shame . Continental breakfast was a bit of miss match ,

We had a lovely afternoon tea, 2 of my party were gluten and dairy intolerant and this was not a problem at all!! The sandwiches were huge and full of yummy fillings! All the cakes and scones were perfect as well, our only problem was we could not eat it all so we had a doggy bag for later. It was a fantastic way to start a few days away with friends! Afterwards we stayed for a Gonk making workshop which was very successful and we all managed to surprise ourselves!

Our favourite place to eat when we are in Northallerton. My husband is vegan so it is rare to find somewhere to satisfy us both. We always have the cooked breakfast - my husband having the vegan option, while I have the builders breakfast. The food is cooked to order and always delicious. The staff are very friendly and the cafe clean and welcoming. We will be back again soon.
