Wonderful coffee and cake stop. A group of us (8 cyclists) visited for our refuelling break. The owner and her staff were so friendly and accommodating. We all enjoyed sitting in the back courtyard garden. It was not our first visit and will certainly not be the last

We’ve lived in the area part-time for two years and often popped in for tea and cakes. However this morning we detoured from our usual “big breakfast” spot and had a Full Yorkshire and a Bacon Sandwich at TeeHee. Someone else wrote “just what a cafe should be” and that matches our feeling. The quality of food was first-class - tasty bacon and no skimping on rashers in the sandwich… the full Yorkshire was everything and more! Sometimes it’s also the small things too - a big pot of good-tasting tea that easily served us two cups each and staff who could not have been more pleasant! Thank you, we will be back often!

My Dad and I stopped off at this cafe after a sweltering journey in a car with dodgy air con. Since we were too early to check into our holiday rental a few miles away, we chose the TeaHee in desperate need of a cuppa and a snack. Easingwold seemed to have more life than it did when we visited ten years previously. The setting is idyllic and the two staff who served us couldn't have been more welcoming. Would we like strawberry or raspberry jam with the fruit scone? Would we like onion marmelade with the cheese scone? Yum. Not long later, we were sitting at a table out the front with warm scones and a huge pot of tea. Thank you - this is what hospitality should be like.

Popped in here to see if we could bring the dog and to see if there were gluten free options…… we were not disappointed! The staff were lovely and the cafe was cute and quirky, with cleanliness a clear priority. Thank you for providing our best cafe stop whilst we were in Yorkshire!

We visited last Friday with our dog, who was poorly down to the side effects of his medication. We sat outside as we weren’t sure how he was feeling and he ended up being sick. The lady who was serving us (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name) was the friendliest, most helpful and genuine person ever! She was so caring about our dog and reassured us, as we were so embarrassed. She kindly gave us her vet details (as we were on holiday in the area) who were also absolutely fantastic. Another lady popped outside to bring part of our order, who I think was the owner, and she too was lovely. Honestly, it was a breath of fresh air to have such lovely people who weren’t in the slightest bit annoyed that our dog had been sick, when many places may well have been. Our tea, coffee, cheese scone and custard tart were all yummy. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back when we’re next in the area. To the lovely lady who helped us, Rocky is back to himself and the vet you recommend were great. Thank you so much!

Table of 5 for breakfast this morning. 3 plates of food went back. Scrambled eggs were slimy and not seasoned. Asked for well done bacon however the fat was barely cooked. Fried eggs were slimy and ‘gloopy’ on top. Bread wasn’t toasted. Waiting time between plates being brought out so food was going cold. We had to ask for salt / pepper and weren’t offered any sauces. Won’t be returning again which is a shame

Ever been to heaven? Well, the answer's probably no, unless you've been to TeaHee. Good old fashioned Yorkshire friendliness mixed with just the right amount of hospitality. Taste the Ginger Love Bar, created by the wonderful Michelle and you will honestly think you've died and gone to heaven!!Two softie southerner friends in tow, we arrived and the place, as usual on a Saturday morning was absolutely packed. We vowed to return in 5 minutes when a table for four with pew bench chapel seats miraculously appeared - clearly there was a God watching over us. Friendly service, coffees and teas ordered, time to visit the area where the beautiful cakes, scones and flap jacks were all beautifully presented crying out to be either boxed and taken away or eaten within the convivial surroundings of one of North Yorkshire's finest cafes.Four treats cut into four for a taste off. The chocolate crispy cake a close second to the Ginger Love Bar, gorgeousness personified - check out the photo.Discovering this work of culinary art was the creation of Michelle, I had to say a big thank you, sadly my offer of marriage was turned down, with both our respective partners wondering just what I was on. The fact on this occasion was nothing. I was intoxicated by the waft of traditional baking and the freshly prepared coffee - no gin in sight.Make no mistake, TeaHee is great place to relax, kick back and enjoy the finer things in life. Plus, you may be luck enough to meet Michelle..... I will return.....

I have visited several times as I am a local, food has always been good just often very slow service. Chose to sit outside on this occasion as it was a lovely day, we soon noticed a wasps nest near the front door but ignored them and they didn't bother us too much. A wasp then landed in my drink so I asked for a replacement, the owner brought the drink with the wasp in it back out to us and said he would give me a new one but I would have to pay. I didn't like the way he brought the drink back out and made it sound like our issue infront of other customers, the wasps were clearly the problem of Teehea, therefore I believe they should have acknowledged this and replaced the drink. I have since removed Teahee as a recommendation from my holiday cottages.

It began to fill up around 8 pm. We chose a window table looking out over the charming town square. Music that complemented the Tapas atmosphere played continuously and unobtrusively. There was an extensive range of dishes from which to choose and we went for 6 dishes between two of us for a fixed price and there was more than enough. Excellent value and the quality was really good. We finished with coffee and that, too, was quality. We had a superb evening and I was even tempted to a dessert, which I rarely bother with. The new restaurant element on a Friday/Saturday is wonderful and exactly what Easingwold needs. We tried it for my mums birthday on Friday and were overwhelmed with the tapas, everything we ordered was great (as there was 5 of us we ordered one of everything and more). The venture is obviously very new and could do with some minor tweaks. Perhaps lower lighting, spare cutlery and wine coolers? Small little changes to make it more of an evening atmosphere. Easingwold is a charming small market town with a relaxed atmosphere. It has the good fortune to be blessed with a choice of half a dozen independent non chain cafes close to its centre which are all reasonable. We had not ventured in here before, but were pleasantly surprised , it has a larger dining room area with half a dozen wooden tables in a separate area round the corner from the main serving counter, a small rear patio with a few tables, and a couple of tables out front on the edge of the market square, so plenty of choice for seating. We wanted a light lunch, my partner had a choice of 3 different quiches available, and i had their speciality pork and apple sausage roll, both came with crisps and salad, attractively presented. We ordered a pot of tea for 2, which came in a snazzy contemporary glass teapot, and we each had 3 decent cups ( there was extra hot water to top up) . For desert we had the warm chocolate brownie with a choice of whichever icecream you wanted. The food was fine, tasty and well presented, the service and price were fair, on a par with other nearby competitors, and we were both pleased with what we had. So another great cafe choice around the market square, for a largely non tourist small town, with cyclists passing through, as a local you are spoilt for choice with the interesting cafes on offer, none are bad, and as a local you can give them all a go, and keep things fresh and interesting. We plan to move to this area shortly , so having a variety of fine cafes around the central area of town is a delight, and without the corporate coffee giants having an establishment here, most of these establishments seem to be doing a good trade and thriving ,long may they all continue, this place is in the top tier with its offerings.

The bacon sandwich is so competitively priced, I would recommend everyone should visit and have one before they realise how cheap it is. When I went to pay and told the young member of staff the coffee was not good he said "why what is it supposed to look like" I have had a cafe myself so I know it's quite hard to make but why should I need to explain to TeeHee staff how to make a coffee. We still had to pay for the coffee even though we left it perhaps as Saturday is a busy day the running of the cafe should not be left to young staff to sort out problems and a little more training is needed to achieve a barista status!!

If the service was better this place would be 10/10. The waiting staff were quite young so probs not that experienced, but maybe need a lil bit more training (I work in this industry myself and i know how it can take a while to get used to) but it's really necessary here. They seemed a lil overwhelmed even though it wasn't particularly busy, and weren't very attentive when it came to clearing/ serving/ taking orders etc, and were't that polite, just basically not good customer service. It's not their fault at all, but maybe working w/ a few more older staff could help?? or just extra training. Want to wish the business luck cos the food was honestly amazing

Situated in the heart of Easingwold this a coffee shop offer a warm welcome and a great selection of home made cakes and light meals. The staff were very friendly and service couldn't be faulted. Would definitely use again.

Me and my friend were passing through Easingwold last Saturday and stopped by at Teahee to see the new re-fit. What a transformation! Much more space now and a better choice on the menu. We both had the full breakfast and it was delicious. Great coffee, great friendly attentive staff, will be visiting again soon.

Since refurbishment this once-excellent establishment has lost the plot. We arrived when it was virtually empty and waited nearly 20 minutes between the coffee and cake for one of us and the cake for the other despite asking for an update. The service is inefficient with interminable waits around the till. Whilst the food and drink is of good standard I dread to think what it would be like if the tables outside were full. Those of us that recall the original Teahee that dealt superbly with busy market days will be disappointed.

Easingwold's a lovely spot, with its old cobbled market square and lovely shops tucked away off the main A19. There too sits TeeHee and on the first warm day of spring we were able to sit at a table outside in the sun and watch the world go by. Inside looks lovely too. Our cakes (from a wide selection) and drinks were superb too, as was the service and value.

This is a belated review of some outside catering Teahee did for us for a party of about 20 people at the back end of August last year. The food was excellent, really fresh , nicely plated up for us and fairly priced. We can recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again for a similar get together.

I have been visiting this cafe for many years with many positive experiences. I visited with my Mum and having sat in the moderately busy cafe for 15 minutes without any flicker of interest from the young staff, asked if we could place an order. Another 5 minutes passed and we gave up and left. Very disappointed with the complete lack of service...

You will need to come early to get a spot. Fantastic food, good coffee. I had a flat white which was good! Soup and sandwich for lunch, great value. No wonder this is a popular place.

Small in size great in atmosphere and friendliness. The only down side is the fact that it is soon full, not good if looking for a place but brilliant in what this says of its value and popularity, the most important factors. We enjoyed very good coffee and excellent cakes for our morning break. Know that we were on the way to an 'event' with timing that meant lunch would be very late, this proved to fill the gap in more ways that one. The cakes selection had a number of innovative choices, and had we needed, there was also more substantial sandwiches etc. available. Will not hesitate to return whenever possible

Absolutely delicious food here, lovely quiches and other meals. The coffee is not the best in town though, some barista training would help as they over stem the milk.

Good fresh food cooked well. Ours was a little late and the bill was reduced even though we had not complained. They were very busy which was a testament to the great food and atmosphere. We sat outside. Also lovely.

Had a very good coffee with a delicious seeded flapjack. The owner and his family are really nice, very welcoming. They allow well behaved dogs in both the cafe and lovely tea garden. We will always visit TeeHee when in Easingwold it's lovely.

We are regulars now at TeaHee and often pop in for breakfast on route for a cycle or walk in the nearby hills. The coffee is excellent - proper coffee lovers coffee. The food is also amazing. I love the cinnamon toast made with brioche bread. We also tried the chocolate bread and butter pudding made from pain au chocolat which was the best I have ever tasted. Always a great selections of tasty treats on offer. Very friendly service. Cyclists are welcome and there is cycle parking in the village. There is a great buzz about the village with a market and many of the cafes open on Sunday as well. Highly recommend a visit.

After several years away form Easingwold, I found TeaHee as popular and charming as ever. There are new owners who have kept the place bright and cheery and kept a superb range of cakes and staples such as the toast and bacon doorsteps. It is less of a deli than it used to be and the menu seems a little less exciting. Alas the cheesemonger side has dwindled dramatically. Combined with increased competition in the market square, that cafe that brought a new feel and sense of excitement to pretty and quiet Easingwold is no longer top of the list but still a reliable tea room.

Visiting the village and was not disappointed when stumbling across this gorgeous pub, lovely vibe inside very homely and a warm open fire. The service was fantastic with happy welcoming start, the food was fresh, hot and had everything you could ask for. Could definitely tell it was proper home made food and not frozen or from a bag. Pork belly was gorgeous it wasn’t too sweet it was perfect and fell apart. Blacksmiths pie was delicious and the gravy with the chips on the side were fantastic. Well worth every penny, thank you and we will be back soon!
