After some pretty bad fish and chip cafes in Fife I remembered a visit my wife, daughter, granddaughter and I had to this place. The service was good, the restaurant was very clean and the fish suppers were bang on. Not a hint of grease and the fish still moist and perfectly cooked. Even the tea was decent.

Lovely village pub. Very polite and attentive service and delicious food. Chocolate delice is very rich as it should be and we would certainly share in the future. We visited on a quiet evening so cannot really comment on the atmosphere. They have extensive and beautifully situated beet garden.

We are not local to this area, but decided to come here as it said there was a good wood fired pizza! The pizza was lovely. After, I had the warm chocolate fudge cake which was a great pudding. Atmosphere was also quiet and warm. Great pub

Very dissatisfied with the service in the shop. I bought 3 fat rascals for £10.50 I only had twenty pound notes as I had just been to the cash machine. I offered the salesperson 50p to save their change she put the £20 in the till put £10 on the counter took the 50p from me and the £10. I explained what she had done she said she didn’t understand and would get a manager who then came and said she would have to count the takings in the till and to do this would have to close the shop. I said it would be fine to do it after hours and then contact me I left my name and number. 2 weeks have passed and I am still waiting to hear

Nice cafe with a deli downstairs. We had a toastie which was very delicious with a Yorkshire sharp cheddar and English ham, the poached eggs on toast with avocado and the picnic platter for two. The meal was very good but the items on the picnic platter would have been so much better had some of the items been warmed a bit—specifically the pork pie, sausage roll, scotch egg and quiche. They were ice cold. When we asked if it was possible we were told no. The service was a bit brisk and rushed given it was a small town center and such a cozy spot.

Fantastic eatery with a traditional pub feel. Welcoming staff and a roaring fire made us feel relaxed as soon as we entered. Good range of drinks, including alcohol free and the menu is varied with some innovative dishes. I highly recommend the sourdough appetiser and the chicken gochujang spring roll starter, unbelievably tasty. We opted for fish and chips as mains, and again we weren’t disappointed, beautifully cooked with great sides, including a wee pot of curry sauce. Overall, a great experience from start to finish, staff were attentive and cheerful, without being intrusive, I highly recommend this place. 10/10.
