Not been for 2yrs and sadly still not impressed. Menu still very basic and small. Still no return of dish of the day. The place was pretty busy but none of the food looked like it was saying ‘try me’ to either of us. We did say shall we go somewhere else but decided to stay. Food arrived, light bite scampi & chips which consisted of 5 extremely small pieces of scampi, a dozen chips if that and about 20 peas. Cheese & onion toastie was very greasy and appeared salty. Crockery had big chips/cracks in them which is off putting. Sorry but today was our absolute last visit

As a regular for years, it pains me to say that my experience last night was highly disappointing. Upon ordering, I was shocked to find that the portion sizes of chips were notably smaller than usual. In fact, the small portion contained an alarmingly small number of chips, barely filling a child-sized box. To my disbelief, the large sausage and chip meals were even more scantily accompanied by chips. Additionally, despite paying for an extra portion of chips, it was missing from my order upon returning home. Furthermore, I discovered that a drink was missing from the children's meal, which further compounded the dissatisfaction of my family's dining experience. Considering the nearly £30 expenditure for our meal, I cannot help but feel that we were grossly overcharged for the quantity and quality of food received. As a long-time customer, I have always appreciated the consistent quality and service provided by your establishment. However, based on this recent experience, I regret to inform you that we will not be returning. I hope you take this feedback constructively and consider reassessing portion sizes and service standards to maintain the loyalty of your customers.

Wen t to the blacksmith arms hook for a Xmas meal.wuth about 20 people. There was only us 20 people in the pub. We had a three course Xmas meal which I couldn't fault. I.had prawn cocktail carvery Xmas dinner and a cheesecake all very nice. But my friends went for Xmas day dinner and paid 60 pounds and they weren't impressed. They had their meal booked for 2pm and there was no turkey left just strag ends of pork and the roast potatoes were hard all. the other veg was fine. When you.psy that amount of money on Xmas day you expect everything to be spot on. Anne walker

Can't fault this restaurant I had advocado and Bean Salad with Houloumi fries. Husband bacon sandwich followed by meringue with mixed fruit compote and cream. Excellent quality served quickly and cheerfully. The staff worked as the best team I have ever seen no one seemed to be in charge yet everything was done seamlessly. We really enjoyed the experience. The gardens were lovely too

We had lunch at The Potting Shed with family. This was a return visit, and we think it’s the best garden centre restaurant in the area. Soup was carrot and coriander (delicious, could’ve eaten more!), sandwiches were very fresh, and the haddock and chips were delicious. Restaurant is very clean and well laid out, tables not too close together. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Have passed by many times and dropped by for some poultry feed and to look at what was on offer. Basically not a lot. Limited range in shop which was overpriced. Restaurant or more like basic cafe was nearly empty and lacking character. To cap it all the owner was extremely rude and certainly does not know how to attract new customers. will not be going back !

Had the pleasure of dining at the Tine restaurant as we were staying in Hawes for the weekend. The staff were so pleasant and welcoming. The decor was very tasteful and classical and loved the baby grand in the middle of the restaurant. We opted for the 3 courses for £59 and were not disappointed. The wait for food was not long at all and was piping hot. Nice little touches with different glassware for water decanters, simple but very much a conversation starter. We were made to feel we had all the time in the world and not made to feel rushed at all. Such a pleasant experience and a little gem of a place hidden in the hillside and I’ll definitely be back for a stay over. Keep doing what you are doing…

Came a few weeks ago and couldn't fault the food or the staff, went this aft for some lunch and as we walked in staff members had face ache and rolled their eyes at us and then started muttering something under their breath, they left us sat at the table for 10mins and no one said hi or nothing the staff then continued to walk round the corner talking to other members of staff, wouldn't mind but there was at least 3 members of staff in and they were all rude and very unwelcoming, we won't be back and neither will our friends or family as we have informed them not to bother goin with the staffs attitude.

This cafe is now called Miss Bs pantry. Very friendly ladies and delicious food. As a coeliac myself I have to have gluten free. This is very well catered for here so my partner and I have visited on numerous occasions.Various selection of savoury dishes and cakes. Lovely latte too. Well worth a visit.
