Came a few weeks ago and couldn't fault the food or the staff, went this aft for some lunch and as we walked in staff members had face ache and rolled their eyes at us and then started muttering something under their breath, they left us sat at the table for 10mins and no one said hi or nothing the staff then continued to walk round the corner talking to other members of staff, wouldn't mind but there was at least 3 members of staff in and they were all rude and very unwelcoming, we won't be back and neither will our friends or family as we have informed them not to bother goin with the staffs attitude.

Was nice enough to sit outside and watch the world go by. Had a lovely coffee and cheese on toast one day and another day had a lovely breakfast. They do them all day. It was only £2.50, but the hash browns were 55p each extra. Great little cafe, lovely staff and amazing value.

second stop here- nice outdoor area good for sunny days and people watching. Inside area well spaced and offering easy access to centre next door/ toilets. Staff welcoming, friendly and efficient. The small breakfast was excellent and toast fresh. Pleased that my beans were in a dish as I had requested. Would call again; thanks

Most surprised to find this little gem near the seafront at Withernsea, a meal for 2 including coffees was only £8.50, can't fault the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the place and the portions which were more then adequate.

Burger and chips plus can of 7 up £4. Chips were crisp and dry which puts it up in my book. Burger middling quality but filling. Friendly staff, right on seafront. For those of us of a certain age well in the Jo Lyons camp - reasonable prices reasonable food, reasonable ambience. Shall happily go again precisely because it is what you expect - in America this would be a diner - below a restaurant, above a greasy spoon. Ideal.

My wife and I ate here twice last weekend when we came for the music festival. Lunch on Friday was an egg mayo & chicken mayo roll. Nicely prepared with salad - delicious. The following morning we had breakfast - full English 2 for £6 including tea. Really can't fault this place. It might be humble but it has a big heart. The staff are absolutely delightful - polite & friendly.

We only had a coffee here but just had to review to say how pleasant and friendly the staff are , very young and eager to help, an absolute pleasure . They were informative about the local area etc. Interesting photos of Withernsea in the past decorate the walls. Will definitely visit again when we are next in the area.

A salt of the earth type of place. Basic food such as bacon sandwiches, a fry up and a selection of coffees male this place pleasant. The access for a wheelchair is excellent with easy ramps and automatic doors.

Came here the other morning as a family of 5. Had 2 lite breakfasts for myself, rest of family all had something and we all had drinks came to around £10. Ok it wasnt the best breakfast ever and the toast was tiger bread for some reason but for a cheap edible breakfast it was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful and it is in a good location.

I have eaten at SHORES dozen or more times. SHORES feels different from more commercial establishments - because it has that community and training input. Nonetheless, SHORES maintains high standards of reasonably priced and well-presented food. And they are friendly. And they alter dishes to my friends' requirements. All-day Breakfast, including tea or coffee, at £3 is nourishing, and a snip - though go easy on the tinned tomatoes! Do try SHORES.

It was very busy when we called.Customers were clearing tables so they could sit down, the tables were not wiped down.Service was slow over ten minutes to get a cup of tea with the breakfast arriving five minutes later. The breakfasts were fine well cooked and hot.If we had called when it wasn`t so busy which probably effected the service etc, the rating would have probably have been higher but you can only judge it as it was at the time of calling. We will try it again in the future to give the place a fair go.

These days, a low priced menu is a worry. What has been cut to achieve it? Not a concern at the Shores. The staff are very friendly, the meals - though not Michelin - are fine for the price and well portioned. And the banter - a transcript of an hour would read like a cross between "The Cafe", "Emmerdale", "Trollied" and "Corrie" - hilarious and heart wrenching. They should install a webcam.

Ok, this is not organic ingredients and homemade sausages etc but Shores does offer good value breakfasts. We had two large breakfasts on a Friday morning for just £6. The place was full of locals, mostly tradesmen who commented on the value. The Staff were friendly and took time to explain about the charity and the place was spotless. As long as you are not looking for " breakfast of the year " then i wouldnreccomend this place.

We went on a quiet Sunday afternoon out of season because the previous review said they allowed the dog to go inside. I asked if we could take the pup in and sit out of the way in the corner. The lady said no sorry I don’t allow dogs in at all.

We had lunch at The Potting Shed with family. This was a return visit, and we think it’s the best garden centre restaurant in the area. Soup was carrot and coriander (delicious, could’ve eaten more!), sandwiches were very fresh, and the haddock and chips were delicious. Restaurant is very clean and well laid out, tables not too close together. I’m sure we’ll be back!
