Nice friendly pub, shame they no longer do food but still a nice place to stop off for a drink

I know the food was specially provided for the darts teams but it was amazing. Plus lovely staff and atmosphere 😍

This is showing that it sells food, it stopped doing this back in late 2023 these places should update their website and Tripadvisor need to check at least once a year to confirm that they still trade in this area of food retail

Stood there for 15 minutes waiting to be served. Bar attendendant too busy playing pool. One of the locals went to inform him someone was at the bar.

Great night playing pool. Was staying in a cottage locally and visited the swan on our way home. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Locals very friendly and welcoming.

A lovely snug boozer just enough out of the way to relax and enjoy a few swills

The Swan Inn is a nice traditional village pub. There was a wide choice of beers and lagers but sadly no cask conditioned real ale on when I called in. The staff are friendly and there is a dart board in the bar. There is outside seating behind the pub and a good sized car park.

Sadly this place is now closed permanently and it would help if the website and telephone answering message was updated.

Went for Sunday lunch.ade our concern to the male waiter that the roast beef was tough and could have been used as shoe leather. Unable to cut it with the provided knife. The Yorkshire had a soggy bottom and was uncooked The only part of the dish worth eating was the red cabbage The waiter said that he would talk to the "chef". But, no further acknowledgement happened. We were only charged for one meal as both plates were left half full. Unfortunately we will not return.

What a Pub! I rarely take the time to write reviews but the Swan Inn at Seaton really deserves one. Placed in the picturesque village of Seaton, the Swan Inn is a true hub of the community catering to both locals and visitors with cheerful and excellent service whilst serving the most hearty food and fresh cold libations! Although I have family in the area I do not live locally and only visit a few times a year. The Swan Inn never fails to provide a genuine welcome, you will never feel like a stranger in this place. This place truly is the epitome of a proper English Country Pub. It is hard to find places like this anymore. Thank you John, Sonya and all at the Swan, I look forward to my next visit!

We came for food with a table of 12 and everything was great. It all came out at the same time and it was all lovely! The portions were very generous. Lovely atmosphere in the pub itself l, would definitely recommend it!

Just had lunch at the Swan inn. It was amazing, cannot praise the quality or quantity of the food enough. We will definitely be back again. Staff were friendly and helpful which created a lovely welcoming atmosphere, could have stayed longer just to relax over a drink.

We have just eaten at the Swan Inn in Seaton near Hornsea, East Yorkshire and 1 word “WOW”. We weren’t sure what we fancied on the menu so we opted for a various starters and made up our own mixed starter tapas. Every single dish was tasty and fabulous. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the chef and he always goes out of his way to please. The staff are courteous and friendly so whether you are a local or a new comer you will be treated as a friend. Lovely pub, lovely food, lovely people so give the Swan Inn a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Just had a pub tea there ,rang first to book a table ,service was very friendly, freshly cooked food and a nice pint . I had Rigatoni in mushroom sauce with meatballs and garlic bread with a side salad. And my wife had chicken and leak pie with mash and veg both meals were beautiful. Lovely evening

We popped in today on Christmas eve. We eat out a lot and are often dissapointed by food quality or quantity or service.Or its mediocre. We had turkey dinner and it was plentiful and like the good old fashioned cooking I love. Land lord and cook and staff were friendly and service was perfect. We will, go again and again and again...

We called today,I'm not one to complain generally and it may just be a Christmas menu thing...I've heard good things in the past about this place but the meal today was lacking.chucking a bit of turkey on a cheese and bacon burger doesn't make it festive...especially when the bacon,burger and breadbun were cremated.I think they'd used the fire alarm as a timer

Fantastic. A real gem of a countryside pub. Food and service both top notch; the steak and ale pie was very beefy, with good veg, gravy, and mash to die for. My dining companions had prawn salad in soft tacos, and chicken skewers with rice, and both reported in very satisfied.

A group of 6 golfers went 10th aug after around of golf at Hornsea The food was very very good 6 fully cleaned plates great service we are outside a great early evening was had would highly recommend Richard

Great pub with good food, nice ales and massive portions on your plate. Starter was good and quite big for two people (chips with spices topped with bacon and cheese). Double burger was massive with hefty portion of chips, salad and homemade coleslaw (one of best i ever have eaten). Only small dent in the golden armor is lack of space for dogs so you are confined in a smoking area with 4 tables to choose and not a chance to avoid cigarette smoke... Other thing noticed by my wife is lack of vegetarian options. Fortunately there was no problem in omitting ham in ham & cheese salad and she got extra cheese instead. All in all it is worth visting as the food is exquisite, portions are massive and most of it is sourced locally.

What a lovely pub. Small but very friendly. The staff were very helpful, polite and patient. It was our first visit and the staff were excellent. Parking is a bit tight, but not a deal breaker especially when you see the food. The meals myself and my family had were exceptional. My daughter had Belly pork, and I had the burger both pictured. I highly recommend eating here. The food was full of flavour, well cooked and nicely presented. The portions are excellent. Five stars all round, The pub is clean and friendly and the toilets were clean and were well maintained. Great stuff.

Menu ok. Sunday lunch was ok but only came with peas, swede/carrot mash, mash and 3 very small roast potatoes. Would've been nice to have some fresh veg. Staff friendly.

Nice, local pub. Friendly welcome, good menu which is available from 12 midday. Some parking outside, but next to a busy road so be careful. Recommended

Car park half full, but apart from a local, we were the only customers. Very friendly staff. Can recommend the steak pie, but don't order it unless you are really hungry. Very generous portion, all steak. With the veg and chips, we couldn't empty our plates. Good pint of TT Landlord cask.

Had a meal here with the family. Was really lovely definitely will return when we visit hornsea again highly recommend traditional home cooked food, staff very friendly too. I would also like to say it was bloody bang on can't stop thinking about how nice the gammon was

A Yorkshire village pub with huge portions of good food and friendly staff. Personally I think that a revamp of varnished tables and chairs would greatly improve an otherwise good pub..

Popped in with the better half to grab a drink and a bite to eat they had run out of Sunday dinners but honestly we didn't mind it was our first visit there wasn't a lot of tables but the lady behind the bar quickly seated us and sorted our drinks order in record time. We was handed our menus when the drinks were brought to us there wasn't a massive choice which to be honest was a relief I hate having to spend an hour trying to choose from 17 different starter and about 30 meal choices. We both went for the swan Inn tower burger probably not the best choice as we had to walk home and it was so big well worth the money for locally supplied fresh food it may seem expensive at nearly £15 each but honestly it was worth it a very nice burger. It consisted of 2 premium homemade burgers, cheese, 8 rashers of bacon, hash brown and BBQ sauce with a decent amount of fries a side salad and coleslaw. In total 2 meals plus 3 pints of soft drink £37.20 which for those and the hospitality we received was worth every penny it does state on the menu that food can take a little longer than most places during busy times which was nice better than asking to see how long its going to be and less hassle for the staff will definitely go back in the future And in hopes they also read this I want to say thank you to the staff at the swan Inn your amazing at your jobs 👍👍👍

We went for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. Lovely vegetables a d the meat was very juicy. Portions were great and prices very good. Service excellent and lovely atmosphere. See you again soon Swan Inn.

Decent little spot, with beer garden

Amazing from start to finish.. we booked for 10 adults and 5 kids for tea on saturday. We waited 40mins.which is pretty good for how many of us there was the food was all fresh, home made, and the best we have tasted. Well worth the money, you wont be dissapointed at all.

Had a lovely meal there today . Real homemade food , steak pie and burger we had were perfect. Great portion sizes . Bar and service staff very friendly and welcoming.

Went on Sunday after a family day out, very limited food options and for a family friendly place there was no child options. The staff were all very young and preferred to spend more time gossiping with one another than actually taking orders/serving as everything was table service. Food was OK.. at best. We won't be returning, was a very awkward atmosphere.

Lovely food and friendly atmosphere. The steak pie is worth the visit alone and my daughter rated the fudge pie a 9.5! Will definitely visit again

The meals were delicious, the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us, my husband had the bacon burger and I had the steak pie which was delicious. I would highly recommend paying a visit, you won't be disappointed

Wonderful Village Pub with Proper Chef cooked Food & part of the Government's August 50% off meal scheme. I more than enjoyed the Pan Fried Sea Bass with King Prawns served on Sautéed new potatoes with Carrot and Coriander and.. Err a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Friendly Staff & nothing is too much trouble.. I'm lucky this is my local pub, just a mile away from my home 😀
