This cafe is now called Miss Bs pantry. Very friendly ladies and delicious food. As a coeliac myself I have to have gluten free. This is very well catered for here so my partner and I have visited on numerous occasions.Various selection of savoury dishes and cakes. Lovely latte too. Well worth a visit.

Usual café stop was closed so went to 34 instead. Coffee and bacon buttie were OK and staff friendly enough. Service was a bit sluggish. Not in a hurry to go back.

Sillas altas.

Tried one of 34's afternoon teas recently, although it was very early afternoon. They are a new venture and absolutely delicious. We each had a full round of sandwiches, a little pate and toast, a small prawn cocktail and a selection of cake/scone with cream and jam/ mince pie/truffle. I had the gluten free version which was not a scrap inferior to the normal. My Mum and I left feeling thoroughly spoilt and as though we couldn't eat another thing. Very reasonably priced, too.

After a few early teething troubles, Cafe 34 has settled down to offer high quality food, with friendly service and maintains impeccable standards of hygiene. The range of gluten free items is even greater than it was before it changed hands.

We travel to Scarborough quite often and make Market Weighton our place to have a breakfast after driving up from Derbyshire. Cafe 34 is a quaint and friendly place who serve with a smile, the best cooked breakfast we have ever eaten, the bacon is to die for and the poached eggs are poached to perfection. Thank you cafe 34, we look forward to our next visit.

The new owner of this cafe is rude and so slow, we as a family called in for sandwiches and coffee and were sat nearly an hour waiting to which she mostly ignored us and flapped about ,will not be returning.

This cafe just doesn't seem like the same place anymore. Apart from the young girl and man possibly in his early thirties there isn't any warmth from the owners/staff. The atmosphere is not like it used to be and the cafe itself looks bare, the cake selection has been halved, the fridge is almost empty and even the walls are barren of previous artwork. If they are trying to create the image of being close to closing down they are doing a good job! Might be time to spend our money elsewhere sadly

After visiting this cafe last week I will not be returning. Previously enjoyed several visits but the new owners are not welcoming nor friendly. The high point of this cafe was always the cake counter, full of home made treats. Not anymore, very poor offerings! After choosing the best of a bad bunch have to say I'm disappointed with the whole thing. As a family we spent approx £35, not a fortune but bitterly disappointed as this is money that could and should have gone to something much more enjoyable! Please pick up your game Cafe 34 before the damage is irreversible, make it great again!

We visited with family & babies. It was busy and I had the toasted sandwich which was made up of cheap white bread and cheap large tasteless tomatos and mild cheddar cheese. It reminded me of greasy cafe type food and I ate it as I was hungry. However my husbands quiche did look very tasty and he enjoyed it. The cafe is nice enough in decor. I can't remember why but the the lady serving insisted on leaving the door open. Not pleasant sitting and eating with a cold gust blowing in.

Lots of thought goes into the food served. Lots of homemade, very tasty. The price point prevents me going more often.

Called in for cup of tea/coffee with a friend and a baby. Makes a nice change that somewhere serves green tea. We had a lemon and almond biscuit too which was gorgeous! Not sure if there are any highchairs, we certainly were not offered one. The cakes on the counter looked tasty, especially the simnel cake. There are baby changing facilities. Staff were efficient but not particularly welcoming. Pleasant bright and airy surroundings.

Called in for lunch last week with my family. The excellent quality homemade food was delicious with lots to choose from. The selection of cakes looked too good to resist and we weren't disappointed! We found the staff very friendly and helpful and we shall be back. Pam J

This is just an ordinary café with food that is nothing out of the ordinary, however, the staff are out of the ordinary-Unfriendly with a capital U. What is their problem ? If you don't like the work then let somebody else have the job. Market Weighton is a lovely area and because my family have run various businesses there for many years I do, whenever possible, visit and support the local shops but I will give this business a miss in future and therefore not be an inconvenience to the staff. There are other reviewers whom have mentioned this problem so why not address it and get it sorted out.

We called in to Cafe 32 for lunch on day recently. It appeared to be your usual village cafe from the outside so we gave it a try. In brief, we did not feel welcomed into the cafe and felt that our custom was more of an annoyance. We were not welcomed when we arrived and the staff were very short and to the point with no warmth or friendliness. The staff weren't rude, but it wasn't the type of service I would have expected from a village cafe. There was a good selection of cakes, drinks and sandwiches. Our food was fine, but nothing that would bring us back again. I'd hoped for much more when I stepped in and so we won't be returning in the future.

Apologies for the ubiquitous 'mixed' headline. I think I like this place: good quality homemade food all served with plenty of garnish and interesting staples of frittata, couscous salads, etc but it feels a bit mother and toddler club (not a problem: been there, done that) which no longer suits

This new cafe is very nice and the coffee is excellent.I drink decaf and it's difficult to find a cafe that serves good decaf. We went in early Friday morning just as it opened.Just after my friend and i arrived for a nice quiet coffee a group of young mums came in with children.Well it was very noisy. What is it about young parents nowadays they do not consider anyone else when the children are making a racket.Children should enjoy themselves but consideration should be given to other customers. This is not the fault of the cafe owners i stress but it is off putting in a lovely cafe.

Eaten here frequently but it,s only the food that brings us back. Went with 2 friends today only to be stood at the counter waiting to be served. The assistant behind the counter just stared at us. In the end I said to her are you serving. The service was extremely slow but most frustrating was she asked us if we wanted our quiche and frittata warming which we said yes only to receive 3 portions of cold food..... why ask if they can,not be bothered. Would be nice if the owner occasionally acknowledged regular clients but she seems uninterested. The best service seems to go to people the staff know just to have a natter.

If rated this on the food there would be no problem giving this a 4/5 BUT quality food is no good if the staff make you feel you shouldn't be there. This was the worst experience I have had in years. Ordering was in inconvenience, could I have... NO! could I have a jacket potatoe NO! from the all day breakfast menu could I have a full breakfast NO! That was it no sorry no explanation just a hard unsmiling face who didn't want to be there. We didn't stop for desert... when paying no 'was everything ok' I wouldnt advise stepping foot in here unless you like attitude I won't be going back.

Stopped by chance while driving through Market Weighton, and so glad we did. Caramelized onion and goats cheese tart with lovely fresh salad was fab, and hubby liked the sausage rolls with a hint of apple. All home made and well worth just over £12 including latte and tea. Pity I didn't have room for any apple pie!

Had another lovely lunch here. The range of home-made cakes looked wonderful and the lemon drizzle cake was gluten-free. Apparently another gluten-free cake was in the oven. I contented myself with a toaster sandwich which was, as usual, delicious, and flicked through one of the magazines as I ate it.Everything at Cafe 34 looks sparkling clean, including the loo. Anyone with mobility problems might like to know that there is a ramp at the door (with a call-button) and everything is on the same level. There is limited parking just outside.

Popped in for a quick sandwich and pot of tea on a busy Saturday lunchtime. Cheddar cheese & chutney on fresh seeded bread with a small salad & coleslaw as an accompaniment- excellent quality and very substantial. The numerous cakes on display were very tempting, but unfortunately time was against us and we had to leave. If we are ever in this area again it will be on the list to re-visit.:))

Came across Cafe 34 early this morning whilst waiting for the framers to open... Although not technically open yet Sally was smiling and happy to serve us a bacon sandwich and two coffees! Delicious fresh seeded bread, lovely tasty good quality bacon and great coffee! The cakes looked fab too! Just a shame we couldn't have cake for breakfast!

Have called here several times and always found food gluten free options including some really delicious GF cakes. They can also provide GF toasties and, usually, soup. Toasties are gorgeous! Pleasant atmosphere and good, quick service. If I have a gripe it's one that applies to many places: too many hard surfaces mean that the sound level rises to an uncomfortable level when the cafe is full.

If you are in the area and looking for breakfast or lunch, this is the place to go.They do all the usual eggs benedict (really good), full English etc. and an array of home made soups and sandwiches. But don't fill yourself up just yet. The counter is a smorgasbord of cakes and flans, flapjacks and even better gluten free options. The people who run it are welcoming and get to know what you like quickly if you visit more than once. We eat here twice a week now as we work at the other end of the village. It isn't like there aren't a host of other choices. It's just that this one is consistently good with varied menus and everything home made. Oh yes, and the coffee and hot chocolate are really good too. I can't rate the place highly enough.

On behalf of a relative who visited yesterday. Small fish, really greasy. Trading under Thompson’s name but nowhere near the quality. Cash only which is an inconvenience. Won’t be returning.

We had lunch at The Potting Shed with family. This was a return visit, and we think it’s the best garden centre restaurant in the area. Soup was carrot and coriander (delicious, could’ve eaten more!), sandwiches were very fresh, and the haddock and chips were delicious. Restaurant is very clean and well laid out, tables not too close together. I’m sure we’ll be back!

We went on a quiet Sunday afternoon out of season because the previous review said they allowed the dog to go inside. I asked if we could take the pup in and sit out of the way in the corner. The lady said no sorry I don’t allow dogs in at all.

Niño amable, acogedor. Siempre una excelente pinta y un montón de ofertas de bebidas disponibles. Jardín de cerveza que es seguro y cerrado para los niños para jugar.

One tip - AVOID! Frozen overwhelmingly fishy fish 🤮 unacceptable and the tables were grim! We wiped the tables with baby wipes (after ordering) and they were black. Wouldn’t have ordered if we knew this then the food was just awful!
