Nikki and Vinny were very efficient and friendly, and brought us good food and drink on Christmas Day. Nikki had great tattoos and Vinny had a cool ring through his nose (like a bull), not for me - but they both carried off the look perfectly :-)

Great stay. Lovely , comfortable room. Great food and the staff were faultless. Will definitely be back.

Beer is really overpriced to all other pubs £5.60 a pint. The food was poor . My partner had the hunters chicken when it arrived he actually thought it was a child's portion. I had the chicken kebab, the fries were worse than mcds that's saying something. Overall not a good experience. Will give it a miss next week.

Visited the Kings Head in Beverley, East Yorkshire for the first time today. We really enjoyed the food. All cooked well and everything as we asked for. Lucy was the member of staff that welcomed us and organised the meal and drinks. Lucy answered all our questions, checked about allergies etc. Lucy is obviously experienced in her job and it shows. Very professional, friendly and helpful. It is so nice to have someone smile and engage with you as a customer. Proper customer service for which we were very grateful 👍.

This place was gorgeous. Right from the welcome the staff were lovely. We had a meal and sides each and the food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Lucy who served us is so nice, friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Overall, it's not too great, to be honest. Our food took about 40 mins to arrive. I think perhaps the delay was waiting for it to go cold. Had it been brought out when it was made and warm, our experience would have been better. Plus, our starters came out at the same time as the mains. Like I said, overall, it's not great. That said if you like all your courses delivered all at once and cold while sitting in a constant cold breeze through the door that doesn't close properly, then this is the place for you.

Great food,fast service, excellent staff

This is a lovely friendly hotel and was a pleasure to stay there. The breakfasts were excellent and was well cooked and more than ample, the bar was well stocked and even had one of Jeremy Clarksons lagers on, and wasn't bad at all. Rooms were spotless and super comfy. Downside it's very noisy on a Saturday night to the points of being supplied with earplugs 🤗.

Very expensive for what it is. We had 30% off mains with the January deal but still felt like we overpaid. There’s a restaurant side and a pub side, we dined at the pub side - portions were very small and sweet potato fries overcooked. We bought a kids burger and one adult burger and they are the same size! Buy off the kids menu if you are after a burger! It’s all the same just costs less than half. Advertised that they stock Hawkstone and still available to order on the website but actually do not have it. I’ve added a picture of the calamari and fries that was £12.79. Will not return!

Super-friendly staff. Tasty food. I can recommend the lite bite sausage and mash, the sea bass, the crumble and the cheesecake. We definitely plan to go again.

£7.10 for a pint of Neck Oil seemed excessive for the type of venue it was. Lots of local youth seemed to hang out there which didn't seem to fit in with the premium prices charged. The beer was OK but not worth £7.10.

We had a lovely pre-Christmas meal. Sophie was extremely helpful and friendly and checked back with us several times. The environment was cosy and relaxing too!

Me and my partner went for a meal here last weekend. It was very quiet but that's to be expected just after Christmas. The food was nice although the menu was quite limited as they hadn't had a delivery and had run out of some things over the festive period which is understandable. Vinny who served us was lovely. We were originally sat under a light that was really bright so we asked if we could move and it wasn't a problem. He was very friendly and provided really great service.

Lottie was excellent! She oozes Geoff Ramm #CelebrityService and is a credit to the venue. She really made our night by making sure we had everything we needed and was very attentive. The food was very high quality and the venue was clean and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

We popped in for a drink after doing some shopping and decided we would have something to eat. We were initially seated near the entrance to the bar but then due to the noise Lucy came over and asked us if she could seat us elsewhere away from the noise, which was very kind of her to do that. We ordered our food and drinks and when the meal arrived I had to take a call from an elderly Aunt and whilst I was away from the table Lucy took my meal through to the kitchen to keep it warm. This was such a thoughtful thing to do and when she brought it back she even gave me fresh cutlery and said if the meal was not hot enough then she would take it away and re-heat it. I haven't been in this pub for a long time but as we have just moved to Beverley it is closer for us to visit and after the lovely experience of our visit - thanks to Lucy and the lovely young man in the reception (sorry didn't get his name) we will definitely be visiting again soon and sharing our experience with friends.

That shot of tequila i had was definitely at least 50% water, for £5.99. The food wasn't what we ordered. They had run out of chips so gave fries without asking, which we didnt want. The lass working the tables was great. The kitchen was absolute chaos tho. Grumpy bloke on the bar. Surprised it wasn't as good as usual.

Emily was an absolute delight. She was helpful and went out of her way to double check allergen information with the chefs. Her customer service is what all others should strive to hold and her general manner of being was a pleasure to be around. The food was perfect and the general atmosphere was delightful, highly recommend.

We where away on holiday and booked a pub for dinner , however when we got there we were put on a table in a bar because we had a dog even though I’d booked a dog friendly table. We walked out and because we were staying near Beverly I googled dog friendly pubs. I rang a few but they were full or were not doing food. I was about to give up when I rang the King’s Head. They had a table available and I’m so glad they did. The service was fantastic, friendly helpful staff. Lovely surroundings and the food was beautiful. Thank you so much you saved our Boxing Day

The Xmas meal was so bad . No difference from a normal day. Staff untrained and don't know what there putting Infront of you. And please close your nose with some staff , you may get a whiff of something unpleasant . I think a staff meeting on cleanliness is in order. No pigs in blankets , no cranberry sauce. Yorkshire's a day old . Ice cold plates . Cold gravy . Starters had limp salad on then cold toast crispy on one side and soft on the other , so you know what that means . This is second time now at the kings head. Thought give them a chance and nope never walk through these doors again. Just to top it off custard and ice-cream on Christmas pudding with a hair in it and fingerprints in my ice cream. Plus just been informed by my wife we paid for coffee and biscuits as well that was included in the price, which we didn't have . So we paid a total of £330.00 for this. Still greaves me now. I could have gone to miller and carter's for less. Please guys be aware of the kings head. 90% of the top reviews are from locals. Look through the reviews for visiting patrons , I find we have a different experience than the locals do.

We came as a family of 6 adults and 3 kids for Christmas dinner, everything was wonderful. The food was delicious and plentiful, Vinny & Nikki were amazing at looking after us, we didn't feel at all rushed and enjoyed every single minute of our time there. Thankyou

Lovely local pub with really nice classic pub food options. Seasonal Sunday roasts, fish & chips, proper pies! Emily served us and really looked after the whole table!

A repeat visit as we had such good service on a previous visit. Same good service (left alone enough, but checked on occasionally), but totally different staff, so a definate plus point for me, and an excellent meal. Will come back again in the new year

The staff are so friendly and helpful the accommodation is comfortable and clean. The food was amazing. The Kings Head is in a great location in the centre of town within easy walking distance to shops, attractions and transport. Loved our time here.

Visited the King's Head last night with our neighbours. We were warmly greeted when we arrived at the restaurant & promptly seated. We had an enjoyable meal & we wanted to thank our waiter Vincent who provided 1st class customer service throughout. Vincent's warm, polite manner was excellent, an absolute asset to the establishment.

This is our 2nd visit and it certainly didn't disappoint! My husband and I both chose to have the trio of roasts and it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere and decor were spot on and top class service from a very nice young man called Alex!

The Inn is in a perfect location as this is my first visit to Beverley. Staff is super friendly and helpful with recommendations. My room is quite and comfortable.

I stayed for one drink only as we needed to pass the time while waiting for our train. The place smelled of urine, condescending bar staff and the people they were serving seemed suspiciously young with no ID, even though its challenge 25. Would not recommend.

Husband’s 50th birthday. Food was fantastic and so reasonably priced too. Prosecco very overpriced £35 a bottle is a bit much. Very nice night out

the couple of times we’ve been in we’ve been seen to by marianna and she’s been absolutely lovely to us. however service has been rather slow those couple times which was unfortunate, but once we received our food it was excellent and we really enjoyed it.

Booked online for Sunday lunch- the waitress kept assuring us our food was on its way, that we were next in line, that it would soon be with us- we ordered more drinks whilst waiting but after an hours wait nothing had arrived. By this time the pub had emptied out and there was no sign of life in the kitchen- we were still told it was on its way but paid for the drinks and left. Not sure what was going on the staff didn’t apologise or explain the delay- not a good experience

100% the best stay ive had in beverley, Aidan and Ellen were greta from check in to check out. I was well looked after and catered for. Every member of the team i encountered was polite and courteous. We were looked after by Emily when dining and she was amazing. Food cooked by Luke and Jan was out of this world. We will be back again and this is out go to Recommendation for Beverley from now on.

Unnecessary rude bar man. No courtesy, yawned his way through pouring my drink, no thanks for my payment. Dismissive of my wife when she asked for a cloth to wipe clean the table we chose to sit at, only redeemed by one of the waiting staff who came to wipe our table herself. Over priced drinks at too…1pint. 1 glass wine almost £16. Disappointed
