Tuvimos el almuerzo del domingo hoy en el Caballo y el Novio por primera vez y seguro para decir que volveremos al 100%! La oferta de 3 platos fue fantástico! Los entrantes que tuvimos fueron setas y palitos de mozzarella y ambos eran frescos, calientes y sabrosos. La estrella del show fue definitivamente el almuerzo dominical, mi pareja tenía carne que se derritió en la boca y mi gammon fue cocinado a la perfección y maravillosamente sabroso. Todos los acompañamientos fueron cocinados perfectamente y somos porciones muy generosas. Uno de nosotros tenía pastel de chocolate para el desierto, que era rico y húmedo, mientras que el otro optó por mermelada de poli y natillas que era como volver a la escuela! Absolutamente fantástico servicio y logró reservar una mesa en el día! Bonito pub en el interior y el personal muy amable!

Nice place for a quick snack and a hot or cold drink. The staff were very polite and gave excellent service.

I’m owed 18.5 hours worth of wages from this company. I’ve contacted everyone I can and I’m being ignored. Shameful display, I await contact to resolve this, if I don’t receive any contact I’ve been advised by Unison workers union to progress this matter to the small claims court.

My husband booked a table at 1.30 for tonight and they booked us in for 5.30. He checked if there was a children’s menu and he was told there was. When we got there there was no booking for us but they found a table for us. A young girl came to take our drink order. She asked our name which she asked to how it was spelt - how name is an easy name to spell. My husband asked what ales they have and she said all of the drinks are in the menu on the table. My daughter asked for a Diet Coke and I asked what alcohol free ciders they do. The young girl asked another your girl and I chose my drink. My husband explained to the first girl that the drink menu was only for wine so asked again what ales they have and the other girl said it might be easier to go to the bar. My husband to the bar but it is so small and there was a lot of workmen at the bar it wasn’t easy to get to. I went to look at the specials in the other room and the second girl told me that there wasn’t any Diet Coke so I chose a j20. We asked if we could look at the children’s menu so the first girl came back and said that they don’t have one but they could do a plate of chips for her. When the drinks came the j20 hadn’t been shaken so it was not nice to drink and when I tried my cider it was not alcohol free. I don’t drink - I can’t drink and I was driving. That was the last straw and we decided we wouldn’t stay. Definitely not a family pub and definitely not somewhere we would go again

We'd been craving fish and chips all day and rushed back from our day out to get some. We'd got to two gates just in time and even though they were just about to shut up shop, Fiona sorted us out with the best fish and chips in tarn. Highly recommend Two Gates Fsheries!

Looking for light lunch so had a starter of spicy fishcake and ordered a side of chips and it was just right. Decent quality food here and good friendly service by a group of young waitresses. Would come again.

Great service and music. Good variety of drinks and brilliant beer garden. A must all year round and low prices compared to other nearby bars. 👍

I absolutely love the fish 🐟, has to be the best fish I have eaten in my 65th year of life. The chips are great also with mushy peas.

A rat came out of the pub drain and was running around the beer garden in broad daylight. Staff member shrugged her shoulders!! Not great esp when they are serving food out there🤮

Just had a pint after a walk, looked good 👍
