Fantastic place and really lovely staff team! I had to book a hotel in Ilkley due to a sudden family bereavement and from arrival to dinner, and then breakfast, the Wheatley Arms is just great! Friendly and all the staff can’t do enough for you. The bedrooms are stunning too. Well done to Viktor and all the team. You made a very sad personal situation much better and much more bearable.

We stopped by for some dinner. I had a burger and my partner had mince beef and onion pie with chips. Both very well cooked, no long waits and friendly staff.

Aunque el personal era muy amable el asado lamentablemente fue decepcionante. Las patatas asadas buenas y con goteras pero la carne y las zanahorias eran tan resistentes como las botas viejas. Le pregunté al personal si podían poner papel higiénico en los baños y todo lo que parecía hacer era recargar las toallas de mano. El personal nos dio algo de dinero, lo cual fue muy amable de su parte.

I took my friend she had never been before as the day was so nice it was a good drive. We had a great time.

Had a nice rump steak ordered med-rare could have gotten away with rare. It was well presented and full of flavour. The staff were pleasant and friendly. I'll definitely visit again

Friendly staff, a good choice of vegetarian food, nice environment. The front of house guy was on his first night! His chat and kindness helped make a really memorable evening.

We booked 2 weeks ahead by phone for an evening meal. On arrival we were told the chef had phoned in sick that day so no food was available. I asked the barman why we didn’t get a phone call to let us know, to be told they didn’t have my phone number. I am unsure why they wouldn’t record a phone number at time of booking for situations like this…

Called into the Station for a couple of drinks in the large beer garden, it’s all been done up since the last time we were there. There’s plenty of tables and chairs for eating outside or just enjoying the great beers, it’s very nice and always a friendly atmosphere. Cheers

Very tasty food would order again

One of the worst sunday lunches ever cold meat and veg burnt Yorkshire pudding sent it back to get warmed up came back couple minutes later still with the burnt Yorkshire pudding which was now like a rock not big or even medium portions found it expensive as were the drinks staff need to be trained in hygiene as every waiter and waitress were stroking customers dogs no apologies from waiting staff or management

Been here a number times for a pint and it has never dissappointed us. Reasonably priced with a quality pint and service. Highly recommend

Great garden centre plus the playground is brilliant and well organised. It's always kept clean in between visits and hosts good events for the kids during holidays

Beautiful location and efficient service. Interior decor looking a bit tired. Food very mediocre. Burnt broccoli, unsophisticated taste combinations on mains. The over-reheated tart for desert looked & tasted (not much taste) like it was made at the supermarket. The whole thing lacked pizzazz and love.
