5 star all the way. Great garden centre still plus great cafes. Plus great kids play. Plus great homeware, home stuff. Butchery and a small supermarket offering. With a massive pale ale bottle range. Do a full morning or full afternoon. You can also book a lovely cream tea.

Really good assortment of all things garden related. Plenty of plants, garden tools, landscaping materials, garden equipment and furniture. Two cafes, clothing, foods and many other items sold by partners under one roof. Not a dog friendly place (they are only allowing guide dogs in). It has nearly everything you'll ever need in the garden, if you can afford the premium.

One of the largest garden centres we've visited. 2 restaurants as well as all the usual garden centre contents, worth a visit especially on a rainy day like today. Called in today with grandkid for Grasshoppers, great 2 hours playing indoor & out.

Good overall garden centre with a large selection of various products and two good cafes/restaurant on site.. Only downside for such a large garden centre is the plant choice and selection isn't big enough as compared to other garden centres nearby.

Amazing afternoon tea, everything was so nice and fresh and you could swap and change the drinks so that you didn’t just have to have the same one. The only thing that I didn’t really like was the tuna mayo spiral as it was really messy to eat and all fell out. Would be a good idea to use another type of bread or give a separate plate for the sweet things so the tuna doesn’t touch them.

What a great place for a trip out to a garden centre! It covers an extremely large area and caters to various different stores besides the actual garden centre. A lovely cafe/restaurant serves a variety of foods and drinks, along with a type of farm shop come deli. A thoroughly nice afternoon jaunt out.

(Grasshopperd cafe review. )Went today for mothers day the small breakfast at nearly £6 was like a childs portions, one small sausage 1 bacon tablespoon of cold beans and table spoon of scrambled eggs. Pretty appallingly then £2.60 for 2 slices of cold toast. Certainly not best. Pot of tea for 2 had 1 tea bag in aswell. Not usually a complainer but really gone down hill for price. Will go to cafe in tong its self in future as this is much nicer.

I have visited all over the country and as my partner lives Garden Centres we went to Tong Garden Centre when we were in Bradford this weekend. I have never been turned away because we have dogs. Safe to say I will never shop there dog or no dog. The reason was there was a food hall. Yes I realise that and I would not take my dogs to a food hall. Then I was told there was a children's play part.Seriously!!! What did they think would have with two yorkies reaching about 8 inches in height?

Unbelievable. I simply asked the colleague how to grow "really goo d grass". The young man behind the counter thought I was being a drug-comic and proceeded to giggle at this remark. In 40 years I have not experienced such unprofessionalism. I later visited the cafe to use their restroom. On entry, I realised the toilet was rather old fashioned. I improvised with mulch and left a little fertilizer for the young colleague earlier. I hope he finds this helpful for his grass at home

Easy to book the play area online, plenty of car parking spaces. Spacious garden centre with lots of home decor, fresh & faux plants, garden furniture etc. Did not expect a bon marche shop to be there and next to the aquatic centre which made the clothes shop smell a little. Also didn't expect a shoe shop in there. Cafe area clean and well stocked. Slightly disappointed that our food was brought out at different times so 1 person had almost finished by the time the other items came (only cakes and sandwiches). Kids (aged 3&4) had a great time at the play centre. Overall a good couple of hours out.

Booked afternoon tea as a gift for my sisters Birthday, what a disappointment, a quarter sandwich, a brioche ham sandwich ( my ham looked like pulled but all ends fused together) wrap very soggy, but cream cheese and cucumber make it so, depends how long they have been made! Little warm square of ? Tasty, quiche ok, cakes quite nice. Not a patch on their festive one and others we have had, finger sandwiches are usual on afternoon teas, so disappointing, it was mentioned to cashier, with no result!!

They have an incredible Christmas selection, best I've seen in a while and while their products aren't cheap, they are generally reasonably priced and excellent quality. The santa experience was absolutely magical for my two little boys. The experience start to finish was brilliant and all of the staff really made the animals and characters come tk.life in an engaging and child friendly way. It's a shame the centre closed as soon as we left the sanat trail and that the cafe was closed even before we go there, never mind when we came out. It would be nice to have a coffee when you come back in from the cold, even if not a long term thing, for the Christmas experience it would be a welcome addition, take away cups even!

Tong Garden Centre used to have a real atmosphere leading upto Christmas, with a magical experience for all. This has now gone, it's all very clinical.
