Gullivers Fish and Chips in Bradford

These were the worst fish & chips I have ever had cold chips, thick soggy batter.

Fish fried twice, fishy taste, poor effort really surprised this is open with the quality they serve

Had an excellent fish and chip supper this evening. The lady that served us was really friendly as was the fryer. The food was delicious and a good size portion.

We love the food here generally. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Piece of advice, always put your own condiments on. The last order we had they salted for us and it was all we could taste. There was way too much salt and it ruined our meal. Other than that it's always excellent.

Best fish and chips around, food arrives piping hot and is gorgeous. I highly recommend

I dint know what's happened as your fish used to be so nice but git two shoved in tge same box, tgey we're rock hard and very oily which I specifically asked for well drained very lightly battered. very disappointed 😞

Your curry sauce was so salty I’m afraid my dinner went in the bin I always get from u going try somewhere else .

Ordered a portion of chips and 2 fish butties. They delivered 2 chips butties and what looked like half a portion of chips. Chips were rubbish. Better off getting it from the Royal further down the road.

Missing 6 scollops so no tea for half of us

Teacake wasn’t even buttered. About 15 chips in each each chip butty and I ordered 3. Disappointing.

Chunky piece of fish.The fish inside was nice but the batter was strange n the chips were greasy soggy and undercooked,havent ordered for a while def wasn't as good as usual its normally beaut. Ive been ordering from u for a long while disappointed 2

Completely the wrong order brought. Phoned up for help sorting it only to be told nothing they can do!! Really ?? You've just lost a regular customer! Shocking 😲

Fish was very small and very small portion of chips. Not worth the £14 spent on delivery

normally brilliant tonite however food was boiled in oil this is not a method. chips anemic very unusual on a positive note driver was less aggressive than normal

I really like food from here, but instructions are usually ignored which is putting me off wanting to order anymore. I don't just leave instructions in the the notes box I ring as well most of the time, and it's still ignored.

what I got was fine but it wasn't what I ordered , I got a fish butty instead of fish and chips which left me with curry sauce that I do what with ..

Portions are too big I am a pensioner do not want a large portion why not offer smaller portions for pensioners and charge a little less not everyone wants a great big portion

the fish batter on all of the fish was under cooked and had to be thrown away..the batter was still wet

After been unable to order well done fish prior to collect we which we have done in the past we decided to go else & will continue to do as we didn't have a problem with highgate fisherers

Absolutely lovely food thanks guys. Fishcake was a tad hard on a tiny bit but otherwise everything was great. My partner absolutely loved your thick gravy, erm me I prefer it a little less. If you could add a thickness option lol that'd be amazing. If not, still definitely ordering again. BEAUTIFUL food !

Food arrived cold after driver arrived late. Gullivers were completely uninterested and did not see it as their problem at all even though choosing to use Just Eat as a delivery service. Driver said he didn't have my postcode even though it was provided at ordering.

Everything was nice apart from fish and scoliops scollops was greasy and thin fish batter was thick possibly try again

Amazing little chippy. 1st visit to the place as we have just moved in the area and the food was amazing. It was clean and the food was fresh. Staff were friendly, and the portion size was spot. Not like some of these chipps that give you small portions. I got the 2 fish and fish deal and ordered more because I thought the portion would be small, but they were not. 10/10 in every areas and definitely will be going back.

The driver couldn’t find our address and we could see he was driving around for about 15 mins after leaving shop. He finally rang us about 5 mins before he delivered

Excellent fish n chips absolutely great but really poor delivery time maybe time of day bout over a hour after continuous changes to delivery time if I knew this I would have just jumped in car and got them saving myself time n just eats ridiculous delays and there delivery /bag /service money charges

Beautiful fish n chips, the fish was really chunky and cooked to perfection.

The food was delicious everything cooked perfectly as always. Just a shame about the gormless driver who went to the wrong street to begin with then I watched him walk on my road then stood behind my tall hedges n only appeared once I came to the door n shouted hello did he appear passed me my things laughing under his breath. Just eat I'd love to know ur interview process n how u pick ur drivers cos its pot luck whether u get a good one.

Chips delish fish very poor really thin n all the batter was falling n crumbling off. Disappointing as normally is very nice.

Not ordered from here for a long time due to previous poor quality food I have to say massive improvement in quality.

Lovely fish and chips delivered tonight, we thoroughly enjoyed them.

Battered sausage and scollops where really over cooked couldnt eat the scollops they where rock hard...chips was all soggy and mushy and pale..best thing about this meal was the curry sauce

The driver rang…I assumed he was lost due to the street being off another road and we are a rear property. I actually think he expected us to walk out to the main road in the pouring rain to collect. It took him 3 attempts to actually drive onto and stay on the street. We went outside, waved at him and he drove off. The next time he drove there I’m stood in the rain and he starts calling the house! I pay delivery, I expect delivery. I’m soaked and my food is cold.

Went here after a long time and sad to say the standard's have dropped massively as have the portion sizes. Customer service is non existent with a young female serving who has no comprehension of good service or the words please and thank you. Sad to see a once good place go downhill so much will not be going again especially as there are better chippies 50 yards away

It's a great chippy! I have been here many times, not had a bad experience. Batter is crispy, fish is usually soft and flaky, chips are good too. I can't comment on anything other than the fish chip or mushy peas as that's all I ever order, and if that's what you want I definitely recommend. Credit to Gulliver's to offer deals for 2, 3, 4 fish and chips, in the current climate it's great that they are making attempts to keep this an honest option for take out. My only comment for improvement would be, the pandemic is over, let customers approach the pass and add on their own salt and vinegar if they choose to. I will keep going here.
