I visited on the 26th August with family. We were a large table but Jez was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The menu was small but they are a small pub. I had the roast lamb which was delicious! Only thing I would suggest is a couple more roast potatoes. The pub itself was very cosy (we went on a really windy and wet day) and felt very homely. I will certainly be visiting again when I am up north again.

No dogs allowed. Pizza only (no sides). Went anyway as was keen to try the pizza specials - they were nice but underwhelming. Customer service from lady behind bar good but the man who served us looked really annoyed we were there! And no one told us that the pizzas would all be cooked and brought out one at a time, otherwise we would have ordered the kids first. As it was, two adults has finished eating before o e of the kids even had their pizza. We booked for 5 and were told we would have to vacate the table by 7. Outlook plates were cleared just after 6 but by 6 30 no one had asked if we wanted puds so we just left.

Phoned to book and explained for a couple and child (our 4year old granddaughter) was told it was pizza night only, which was fine for us. On arrival a few people in but looked liked they could be local, unfortunately our welcome was non existent, very miserable and rude landlord it took him all his time to explain to us what wine they had We were told where our table was (in separate room from the bar which was empty apart from us) and given the pizza menu but immediately was told that ‘she’ better sit down and behave (at this stage our granddaughter) was getting into her seat and causing no trouble whatsoever. The pizzas arrived and were very nice but again Mr miserable made a rude comment to our granddaughter, again not warranted. Three people then joined the table next to us, obviously local as they were welcomed , landlord removed our empty plates, didn’t ask if we had enjoyed our meals or in fact anything about how we found things but he did take the time to say ‘right you will need to sit down and behave as other people are here now’, or granddaughter had finished her meal and was walking between us at either side of the table and causing absolutely no problem. We paid and left with no acknowledgment from owner All in all it was a very upsetting and rude experience. We didn’t say anything to him to cause a scene as obviously we were the outsiders!!! I wouldn’t normally put a negative review but it was the worse customer service I have ever experienced and feel that people should know that obviously families(especially children) are not welcome in this pub Owner needs to learn manners and really don’t know how a business can survive in this day and age with this attitude

The Lamb Inn is a delightful pub, tastefully decorated, clean and cosy. The Landlords are very welcoming and when they serve food, it's local fresh produce and home made really nice meals. We've had quite a few meals over the years. Also to note the location is really nice too. They are not serving food again at the moment. After the pandemic, need support and build back up so people to use it. It would be such a shame to lose it or to lose the Landlords who have been there for a long time. Really worth a visit to check it out for yourselves.

Called in on Sunday evening (didn’t prebook a table) hoping to get a drink and some food after attending a Worth Valley Railway event at Oxenhope station. Only one person behind the bar who was openly rude and very unfriendly. Had a big party at the bar in front of us who offered us to be served before them but bar staff just shrugged his shoulders and took their order first ignoring us. When we asked if we could eat there we were told ‘were fully booked’ fair enough but he could have been a lot more polite. We were very polite to him. Toilets smelled terrible and the lager we were served wasn’t very good. Wouldn’t recommend or go back unfortunately.

Having read all the other reviews about great food I was really looking forward to my meal here. It was poor. 4 meals ordered and only 1 was good. Roast beef when it was served looked like a school dinner, more beige food on the plate than I could imagine possible with a roast dinner. I actually thought the beef was pork as it was so pale. And a very small portion of veg. The steak and chips wasn’t great. Chewy steak and potato chunks not chips. Scampi and chips was just average. And no ketchup. They don’t serve it in the pub!!I’d look elsewhere for a nice pub meal! The pub is very dated and cluttered.

We stayed in Oxenhope for a week in October so we wanted somewhere local in the evening to eat. We picked this pub as it was the closest to our accommodation and have to say we were all impressed by the meals we ate over the week of our break. We tried several different meals and none disapointed. All the food had the feel of home cooked food and I have to say the pies were the best I've had in a pub. Together with the good tasting food, it was very sensibly priced. There were other nearby pubs, however they appeared substantially more expensive and given the quality of the food at the Lamb we didn't feel like trying anywhere else. The pub is friendly and attracts locals which gives it a warm feeling. I would certainly recommend this pub if you are looking for a good selection of home cooked food at a sensible price

We were going to stop at the Dog and Gun but it was full ! Anyway the reviews for it are mixed (very good to awful) so we drove on down the road and found the Lamb Inn. The Lamb Inn is a very nice pub with good beers and a comprehensive menu. OK so many pubs have these virtues but the Lamb delivers on all fronts , especially the food. We had 6 adult meals and 2 kids ones and they were very very good. I had home made steak pie which was home made - no not those round efforts you sometimes get served but a big slice from a proper home made pie. It came with home made chips ,a veg selection AND my own gravy boat !! All the rest of the family were equally impressed. We sat and ate outside in the 34 degree heat and still loved it ! Booked some accommodation on the outskirts of Oxenhope and the Lamb Inn was just across the road. What a find. It made our weekend. Lovely cosy bar with friendly staff and regulars. Open fires and a real homely and welcoming feel made it a nice place to have a drink. We booked dinner on the first night and it was that good that we booked the second. Steak and Guinness pie to die for, my partner enjoyed Mediterranean chicken. Second night I had home cooked lasagne with ragu beef and the Mrs enjoyed the steak pie. Went to an event there last night. As we walked in large banner advertising food. Asked for 6 burger's to be told not doing food tonight. Duty Manager and one of the staff were not welcoming, infact heard one of the staff swearing about something that had happened. Not the nicest of nights. So 30 people were not there on Wednesday night? If you were serving food upto 8.00pm why was I told that you were not doing food on that night?!
