Perfection. Food great and service too. Nice location. Kirsty and Lorna were very friendly. Quiet welcoming atmosphere.

Wow what can I say lovely pub with so much character.Went in for lunch had a great pint of Guinness and tuna mayo sandwich on thick farmhouse bread which came with chips and small salad.Very tasty well filled sandwich service very good and didn't wait long for food,good value.

Lovely historic pub, good atmosphere and beer, lovely staff. Made several visits on our stay in the city. Didn't have any food but didn't hear of any complaints, large outdoor area and central to town amenities etc

Amazing pub, always a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Some really good offers on food and drink. Well worth a visit.

Visité con mi familia. Restaurante muy ocupado pero una mesa despejada pronto. Pedí lasaña. Quemado en el exterior pero frío de piedra en el medio. Pedí que lo reemplazaran y una comida completa llegó en unos minutos. Lo mismo otra vez. Caliente alrededor de los bordes pero piedra fría en el medio. El 2 estrellas es para el subgerente que no podía disculparse lo suficiente y recibimos un reembolso completo por mi comida más los extras. Pero hubiera preferido esperar unos minutos más para obtener una comida satisfactoria que realmente podría comer!

We were staying in a local Premier inn but decided to visit here for breakfast, the food was very good and the staff really welcoming,

Waited over 5 mins for one coffee and hot chocolate to then be asked what do I want after already ordering and paying we were told to stand to the side of counter and wait appalling service

Popped in before going to city Hall. Good service. Good food. Great atmosphere

It was not a good experience. The food was terrible. Half of the menu was unavailable. What was available was barely edible and unfortunately, cold. You can tell this has been this way a while, as the place was not busy at all for a Saturday evening. We left half our meals. The staff were excellent though, and were very accommodating. Safe to say we'll give this place a miss in the future.

Matt and Ben are amazing! Food and beverages were also great! Must go to when in London!
