It was my first time there, so only ordered a soft drink. The pub was quite busy and there was limited staff. If I go again it will be much earlier.

Visited here last night with my daughter, my mum and step dad, ordered through the app and didn't wait too long even though it looked busy. Food was very nice and wasn't expensive at all. The only thing I would say is that there should be bigger tables as we pushed 2 together so all 4 of us had some room to eat. Overall great experience and will definitely visit again.

The Three John Scotts is a solid Wetherspoons location in Hull, situated near other great pubs, with friendly staff and a decent selection of beers. It’s a nice place to pop in for a drink, and the atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming. However, compared to the other Wetherspoons in Hull, I wouldn’t say it’s the best one. Still, it's worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a reliable pub experience.

The Three John Scotts is a typical Wetherspoons pub, re-purposing an old building, in this case an old head post office. The few TVs all show a news channel with subtitles turned on and the sound off. No loud music in this pub! Entry is up a flight of steps and there is no dedicated car park and limited nearby on-street parking. I visited mid morning and chose two traditional breakfasts, a pint of Worthington's and a cider. There was a bit of a wait for the food, which was served at our table. Everything was delicious and all at a very reasonable price.

Located in the old Post Office Building across the road from the crown courts on Lowgate in Hull's old town this wetherspoons pub is a known starting off point for a night or afternoon out in Hull's excellent old town. Spacious, with a decent beer garden and unsual for a wetherspoons, the toilets are downstairs in the basement. Compared to other pubs in this chain, that I will not mention, this one is remarkably clean, meaning there are no piles of dirty plates or glasses piled up on the tables. Good, quick service too, so for us, today, excellent, hence the 5 stars. The sleck dust at £1.99p was particularly good value too. One of my favourite wtherspoons.

Comfortable and generously proportioned ambience typical of a Wetherspoons pub. Quick, polite and competent service .. though tables could do with clearing and wiping down more frequently/judiciously. Unusually diverse and often quite quirky clientele. Would I patronise again ? ..'Yes'

As a wheelchair user, I cannot recommend this place enough. They have a lift to get you in to be able to access the main pub area or the beer garden. Disabled toilet was large enough and clean. The staff where spot on, we ordered from the table ( food and drinks, many drinks ) and the staff always had a very good attitude. Will be returning. As a old town pub it's easy access for disabled people.

Poor service here today, We arrived, I ordered via app, 30 mins later noticed others getting food before us though arrived after, asked at bar , they had given ours to another table , said they would get ours soon, eventually almost an hour after ordering, ( not that busy either) we got ours , but I was getting coffee refill . Had to wait rather some time for milk refilled, so when I returned, mine was cold , the butter turned to oil as sat next to the food , so didn’t eat much after all this, terrible experience today ,

Confused staff!!!!! Ordered via the app and the order never came. My partner then ordered and this order came and was served by a female. Mentioned to her that that my order hadn't come and she said that she would look into this. A male staff member then came across to ask why we had an issue with our drinks orders and said he had brought the last drinks across!!!! I think he was confused about their gender!!!! To be fair, we weren't even arguing about who served us and when. We were just wondering where our round was. The male!! Was really rude and just walked off when i stated he must have changed his sex in the last 15minutes. Needless to say...... we never got out drinks

We’re absolutely disgusted after attending this poorly managed establishment today. Came in for a couple of drinks with my partner after a nice day out together. We both walked in together, my partner then got served for the both of us. I however, went to get the next round of drinks in, and got asked for ID. I was refused service and wasn’t happy, so asked to speak to a manager. She was about as helpful as a blunt kitchen knife. Clearly, the bar staff and management are just as clueless as each other. As a result of the quite frankly poor and disrespectful service, we will not be returning to this pub, and would advise others to avoid also. Perhaps the people employed there need reevaluating to see whether they’re competent enough for the job. Then again, I highly doubt they would be.

Good choice of ales and had 2 dark ales which you should expect during winter. I recently visited a lovely Costa Coffee location that is wheelchair-friendly and has plenty of parking nearby. It's nestled in a bustling retail area with lots of great shops. The food is delicious, and the staff are super friendly. There are plenty of options for vegetarians, and they even offer some tasty vegan choices. Additionally, they have a disabled toilet on the premises. The only downside was that the Bakewell tart didn't quite taste like it should – it was more like a cherry tart.
