Booked this location as it said it had a lift. However, unless you are on the second floor and above it is no good for disabled people. Due to a disability room unavailable we had to climb stairs. The room was spacious and bathroom large. Bed was very hard but again very large. Food typical Wetherspoon. No complaints about the food. Wouldn't stay again though unless a disabled room was available.

The room needed refurbishing. The air conditioning for the kitchen ran all night. The staff emptied bottles into the skip at 12 at night. The shower was nearly unusable. The shower mat was remove for the second night. The breakfast was very poor. All in all it was not a good experience and will not stay in another Wetherspoon ever again if they think the standard of our room was acceptable at £185 for 2 nights. We recently stayed in a Premier Inn in Wolverhampton at £99 for 2 nights. A good standard.

You always have to wait in a disorganised queue. So I decided to order through my app!! It took 15 mins for one drink. Otherwise, it's a really nice pub. However, if you're short on time, it's a bit of an issue.

On a trip to a local attraction with my daughter, so needed a bit of lunch, myself and my daughter both enjoy a wetherspoons so it was an easy choice. Plenty of seating in various little rooms to the sides for a quieter lunch stop if required, I used the app to order and food came as expected within around 10 minutes which was good as it was a bit busy. It is what it is: a Wetherspoons. And, as such, you expect certain things which The Three Tuns delivers: 1. Cheap food. 2. Huge menu. 3. Cheap drinks. 4. Lots of people. 5. A bit grubby. 6. A lovely old building. 7. Blue and white floral plates. My point being: if you go to a Wetherspoons, you go knowing what to expect and that is not silver service or haute cuisine. Hence, my average rating...this is your every day, average Wetherspoons and therefore we had no complaints.

I explained to the manager that I already spoke to member of staff on arrival And asked if we were allowed to eat with our service Dog and I showed them my identification and she agreed is was absolutely fine. But then the manager approached me in front of the pub and told me to leave as my dog wasn’t wearing a jacket to show she was a service dog and other customers would be upset. I said this was not a legal obligation and I showed my id yet again. I also asked would u also like me to wear a jacket to and let all the pub know myself and my son is disabled. He continued to argue with me and said well if u go in the corner so no one would see you then you can stay, He made us feel so small. We walked out without finishing our food as I felt extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed.

We were able to find a table and after asking for the table to be cleaned as I think the horse race goers had recently left we ordered food at the bar as the app wasn't working but fast, friendly staff took the order and all food arrived hot and correct. We went back for breakfast on the Sunday morning, all spotlessly clean and the app worked fine and all got and fresh lovely food and even tho we did have a sausage missing this was quickly sorted. After issues with other establishments in the area over the weekend, good old spoons is never going to be gourmet cuisine but this one in particular was a great place to stop

I generally like Wetherspoons and give good reviews but this place was different. We started outside but there wasn't a non-smoking area outside, so it was quite uncomfortable for non-smokers... The table was sticky too! We went inside and that was no better, sticky tables, people vaping and generally without atmosphere... Maybe because the place has many small rooms. We went to the pub across the way (Black Bull). Not as cheap for a pint but clean tables and a better atmosphere without the vapes.

We stopped here for some food on the way to Harrogate. We ordered a "Chargrilled" half chicken and mash and a Katsu curry. The food took 45 minutes to arrive. The chicken looked grey, slightly anaemic, and was pretty horrid. The mash was clearly microwaved/powdered. Either way, it was disgusting. The Katsu curry actually tasted pretty good but was let down by the chicken, which had hard (inedible) bits on it. The reason for 3* is the staff, as despite clearly being pushed to the limit, they were polite and friendly. The setting was also very pleasant.

The food here is amazing in the 80s it was the place to be for food and drink. Then it went through a few management changes and went to being very quiet. Well now it's back with a new owner and the food the staff are spot on. We had Chicken Parmos with chips and garlic sauce and it's the best weve had . My 6 year old wanted more the open fire was nice and cosy making the Christmas experience more magical. Nothing was too much trouble colouring pens and paper were given to my little one . it's the little extras that make this place extra special going above and beyond 🧑‍🎄🧑‍🎄🎄🎄👌

Reserved a table online for a small family reunion. Clearly a popular spot and there were a lot of people milling around outside and drinking outside the pubs on the main street. Service inside was good and there was a good choice of food which was very tasty. Sadly there was a large group of well watered men booked onto the table next to us, in the area by the bar, which completely spoilt the last half of our meal as we simply couldn't hear each other talking. It was a real shame that staff didn't consider putting us in the other part of the restaurant where there were several empty tables all evening, or relocating us for the last part of our meal when it would have been obvious we could no longer converse or hear. .... this would have made all the difference. (It would have been awkward having to ask to be moved ... but care from front of house staff could have carefully relocated us.)

Came for Sunday dinner and hot shot parmo, the parmo wasn't a hot shot! It had 2 piece's of pepperoni on it with nothing else how is that a hot shot parmo ? The Sunday roast was very bland, and tasteless with very watered down gravy! Nobody came to ask how our meal was which is such a shame as I'd of like to give my honest review. Such a shame as it's a lovely pub! Sorry chef but this needs sorting as we certainly won't be coming back
