Brilliant little place relaxed and friendly

Had a really nice afternoon, it was super busy and really loud which I guess I should have expected, the food was great we ordered a pizza and the 3 for 2 appetisers, pizza was huge but could have had more cheese in my opinion! But that's probably just my preference, really, as my friends liked it.

Great pub! Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Plenty of tvs to show sport and dog friendly! What more could you ask for!? The food was lovely and a wide selection of drinks! Beer garden has 2 tvs so you can see them from pretty much any table in the beer garden. Service is quick and friendly. They also do order at the table through an app which means you don’t have to leave your seat and go to the bar when it’s busy

Great proper pub that also does sport, fantastic service from the staff, always clean.

Came in for a quick pint as a large group and watch a bit of football. Really cost pub and was quite full so seems to be very popular. Due to this we did have to borrow seats from other tables to get us all sat. Staff were friendly and drinks were good, and there is a small outside area for better weather!

This place is amazing, great music, staff are amazing and the food ....oh the food that was one off the nicest burgers I have had, I had the mighty meaty burger but with chicken instead off beef and was beautiful especially for how cheep it was. Thank you to your staff was fun and helpful ☺️

Great traditional pub with some good ales

They seemed to put their prices of what was a decent price of Real Ale up, around £2 for Christmas?? Not for Me! These places.. Especially when it was early in the Afternoon on the 12th Dec...

A really big shame when you revisit a pub a week later and they feel the need to increase the price of ale by approx £2 because its December. So no more drinking there in December or January February March etc etc for that matter. We're probably not alone so good luck in the future.

Fine Real Ale Pub I Gave you a Really Good review previously, Came in today i take it all back, £5.40 for a Pint of 3 Swords, that cost £3.50 previously. Be aware People! Rip Off!!!

Very friendly staff ,lovely food and atmosphere

Good communication after booking, made aware of staff shortage that day and worked with management to ensure we could visit (our monthly meetings are fixed day). Organisation on the night excellent, staff helpful, all attendees happy with their food. Helpful staff, worked well to accommodate our large group, we have now been three times and always good.

Proper pub, for a convivial drink.

Very clean. Acoustic not good as very loud. Food basic but wholesome and served quickly. No problems in getting served at the bar. A tad cold.

Mi hijo y yo nos alojamos por 3 pintas los tres, así que Guinness / Cruz campo y peroni eran planas y viven menos no el personal del bar, pero no lo entendieron cuando me quejé siempre me mantendría a la guiness, pero fue terrible que mencioné que al personal y no tenían una solución se trasladó a Cruz campo y eso fue aún peor que comenzó en el peroni que era marginalmente más animado, claramente no aclaran las líneas o se enorgullece de la calidad del alcohol que sirven es una pena, ya que estábamos disfrutando del lugar y los deportes, además de una gran multitud, simplemente cerveza muy pobre - nos movimos por la carretera al cordero y bandera que no tenía fútbol y era muy tranquilo, pero la cerveza era mucho mejor

Estuvimos allí ayer para celebrar la jubilación de mis maridos. Profesionalidad total y absoluta de principio a fin. Cada cosa fue como un sueño un montón de personal del bar y nada era demasiado problema. El gerente y su esposa tenían todo bajo control y pusieron totalmente la mente de mi marido en reposo. La comida era fantástica y muchos de los huéspedes comentaron sobre el increíble buffet. Quiero agradecerles por hacer que mi retiro de esposos sea especial.

Ideal para el almuerzo con amigos y familiares. Voy aquí de vez en cuando con uno de mis amigos de la escuela y ahora me he llevado a uno de mis hijos. Absolutamente me encanta la comida, pero solo he tenido la selección de tapas / platos pequeños. La selección de cerveza es bastante buena, pero normalmente solo tengo la cerveza. El personal es amable y el pub es acogedor.

Tuvimos un concierto cerca y con antelación reservamos una mesa. Cuando estábamos en camino nos quedamos atascados en un poco de tráfico, así que decidimos contactar con el palacio para hacerles saber que estábamos corriendo 15 minutos por detrás, pero estábamos en camino ... . hay un número de contacto en las profundidades oscuras profundas de la web, que llamé y era solo un mensaje de voz, así que dejé un mensaje. Luego les envié un correo electrónico para que dijeran lo mismo (esto fue 45 minutos antes de lo que debíamos). Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que habían regalado nuestra mesa ya que llegábamos más de 10 minutos tarde y estaba en el correo de confirmación. Así que le explico que había llamado y ella dijo ‘oh, no contestamos el teléfono’, así que le dije que habíamos enviado un correo electrónico y ella dijo ‘tampoco revisamos eso’. ¿Cómo los contactas? A regañadientes nos dieron una mesa en una esquina mientras me mantenía firme. Después de eso, tengo que decir que el palacio es un buen lugar, la comida estaba en el lugar y el servicio fue rápido. El precio era bueno también. El problema de contacto necesita ser resuelto, pero aparte de que fue una buena noche.

Decent selection of quality beers. Little bit pricey, but that's just about everywhere these days. There for a leaving do. The place was buzzing. Lovely "party" food / snacks 👍

Met up with my brother and sisters for a fab meal and catch up. Always love The Palace, friendly staff and great food. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. Thanks guys, see you soon.

Real beer. -good Chips - good I think the outside paint job is a bit off putting (Lime green?) But thank goodness the inside is how I remember 20 years ago. I will return with the kids. But the green paint is awful and stopped me peering in the pub last time, thinking it had converted to a "trendy pub"...

The food is terrible. Nothing is hand crafted. Prefabricaated and combined too a terrible result. You could so easily make honest food. And even if you wanted to use prefabricared items - A spiked frozen pizza from the supermarket would produce a better result. The burgers even worse, and the rest og the servings i witnessed were deep fried indifferemce. The beers - as you would expect. A huge selection of nothing interesting.

Great pub, brilliant Guinness and not badly priced.

My partner and I have been here a couple of times when visiting the city centre. We really enjoy their small plates, it gives us the option to have a few different items and just nibble. The staff are friendly, professional, and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed, there is music playing, at a reasonable level, instead of super loud and there's sport playing on the tvs.

Very pleasant visit to the Palace.Good choice of ales to sample,at permanent low Thursday prices.Courteous, friendly staff and knowledgeable landlord made it an enjoyable afternoon in Leeds.

Wouldn't serve my daughter who's 28 she had passport photo on her phone, but not good enough ,she bought first round. Will not be going back.

A gateway to the city and what used to be the end of the pub run from the Hope, Ewe Tree, Black Dog.... Clean tidy and a great choice of beer, wines and spirits. Indoor and outdoor seating, great staff. Often a small queue before the noon opening. Aug 24 - guests ales coming included Black Sheep, a personal fav.

First time I've been in the Palace. What can I say, it's a pub. The staff were friendly and I was served quickly. I wanted to go sit outside with friends but didn't know where to go and a member of staff directed me. Nice to see a "Pub" surviving in these days.

Very busy as we attended on Leeds pride very expensive for bottles of beer but reasonable atmosphere older clientele made it feel safer

My son and I called in for some lunch. Wow what a suprise. Although the pub was very quiet it was about 1PM not expecting too much I ordered gammon my son ordered sausage and mash. Both meals were absolutely delicious and the staff were lovely and we chatted with them to say how much we enjoyed it. We can't wait to go back. I would wholeheartedly recommend going here for a lovely lunch

Stunning little bar Leeds little gem

Well done the palace for allowing none customers from the Leeds pride parade to use there toilets It was no inconvenience to us customers in there at the time, the staff are excellent 👍

It Was a great afternoon and the food was lovely we was in the pub for a families 50th birthday but as it got closer to 8pm some of the staff made it know they wanted us to leave as in their words "we want to go out side but there is too many customers and we're not allowed till the premises have less people on site" and refuse to serve more drinks they we're very rude and very unprofessional

Rude, unpleasant female staff member. This used to be a great pub, I know so many people that now refuse to go in Was asked to provide further info: It was the lady with the scraped back hair and loads of tattoos. She has zero interpersonal skills and is rude and unpleasant I'll go back when she's gone, as it's always been a great pub, good beers and decent food. Cheers

My wife and I had drinks and dinner before attending the Opera by candlelight at Leeds Minster!

Had a great time here a few weeks ago using the 20% off offer for students! Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The staff member who dealt with me knew the menu really well and gave us some good recommendations on what to eat. Also really liked the new TV in the beer garden. Will definitely be booking a table in the beer garden for the Euro matches. Thank you again!

Shutting early again saying its quiet. Counted 20 people in the pub . Wouldn't like to think it was my business!!
