Chips were hard and not cooked through. Very helpful when asked for replacements however they were from the same batch. £2 for a can of Rio is a crime.

Brilliant wonderful service from Brackenbed chip shop. We ordered on just eat but the driver was terrible, deliberately awkward and rude. The chip shop staff saved the day and went out of their way to make sure that our food was sorted out. Bless them. It wasn’t their fault but they were 100% marvellous. Thank you to you all but especially the lady who drove out to me with my order. Truly appreciated xx

The fish and chips were exceptional and everyone was very kind when serving myself and my partner. Will definitely be coming back when we come back with the kids next year. High recommended 😀

Today was our 1st visit to The Rose & Crown in years!. 2 of us had fish and chips, my husband had the crab main. Then we each had a dessert. The food was full of flavour, presented well and large enough to share 1 between 2 people. Very reasonably priced. Excellent food and service!.

I'm from Thailand, passing by and stopped by to eat delicious, fresh food. Ordered fish & chips. Five people ate. The shop is kind and has free gifts. Thank you very much... Good service, lovely staff, fresh and clean fried fish, very delicious chips.

Great old pub . Amazing beer selection.

Conocí a mi hermana y a mi cuñado por una copa o varias antes de que fueran a un espectáculo nocturno. Como han pasado varios años desde la última vez que estuve allí llamé temprano ese día para un café (dos en realidad, pero quién está contando). No puedo felicitar al personal lo suficientemente por el nivel de servicio que prestaron. La comida que tuvimos estaba ligeramente por encima de la comida normal del pub. Hay 9 sí 9 bombas de cerveza real / barril en la barra, por desgracia solo 8 estaban funcionando. Eso me ha planteado un reto. ¿Puedo "dirigir el bar"? El Scarborough Hotel está cerca de la estación de tren, pero debido a las obras de la carretera que parecen haber continuado durante años hacen que el acceso desde allí sea ligeramente difícil. Puedo recomendar este pub si estás en Leeds. Un hecho importante que casi me pierdo, no hay (peceras encantadas) pantallas de televisión que vi.

Went early Friday morning, looked a nice place so gave it a try. Was greeted with a very polite waiter. Ordered 2 sausage sandwiches and one bacon sandwich coffees and hot chocolate. Then had to pay before the food came, thought a little strange but hey ho that’s fine. Then the food came, the worlds worst sausages had been put into some bread, they were just cheap nasty tasteless sausages. The bacon was ok and the drinks were lovely but the sausages 🤢 I honestly can’t explain how bad they were. I was expecting some good quality butchers sausages not ground up camel dung. I really hope for others sake it’s just a blip and they had run out of the good stuff.
