Nice pub on the outskirt of city centre, very friendly bar staff, good jukebox

Love this place, but the jukebox is above a table, so if anyone is sat at the table you can't use the jukebox

Without a doubt, the best pub in Leeds City Centre. Amazing staff, who are always singing, dancing, smiling and willing to go the extra mile! The new landlord is the most down to Earth chap I’ve ever met. Loving the live music from the DJ on a Saturday, at the best free party in Leeds. Great selection of beers and spirits. 100 percent, get yourself down!

Lovely staff, always polite and welcoming. Always on hand if you need anything and nothing is too much trouble! Pumps are cleaned frequently and the beer I always on point. The New landlord has really made a difference to the pub. He's brought life and character back and makes it a really pleasant and enjoyable place to be.

Nice pub to grab a drink and chat with good crowd. Prices good and beer to standard. Staff friendly and a lively environment. Sometimes you're offered to buy occasional knock off goods and drugs but usually when you're sat out the back or in toilets. But still proper nice place to unwind.

The good auld regent. It's had a makeover, nothing special, but it's a pub that always keeps its character. Pop in, have a pint and keep these old boozers open 👍

So good! Went in after work to relax and couldn't of asked for better service! The drinks were amazing the atmosphere was amazing just all around amazing! I would defo recommend coming in by yourself or with family and friends! You will not be disappointed!

After the revamp I will say that they have made the decor so much nicer bar staff are nice, toilets are still the same but you can't win at everything, just because you can meet new interesting people and listen to some questionable Karaoke I will be coming back for a drink a think and even a sneaky laugh

The Regent has to be a strong contender for the worst pub in Leeds city centre, if not the entire city. Frankly, it is an absolute toilet of a place. I once saw a couple fighting outside with pushchairs, at kicking out time, while their kids stood by and watched, and it does not seem to have improved much. They don't sell one decent draught beer, and the selection in the fridge is no better. There's always drunks kicking off, even in the early afternoon. Avoid at all costs.

Great pub and price just right I got a pint of John smiths for £2.70 and my partner had carlsberg at the same price. Didn't have long to be served even though it was pretty busy good music as well

Found this pub as my twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around and along Kirkgate, not a bad find actually. The pub is ok, good decor and furnishings, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside in their beer garden out back, a good old fashioned city centre pub. We were here on a roasting hot Monday afternoon, we ordered a Carlsberg beer each,served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers. My beer was good,a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste, when served iced cold as in this pub a totally refreshing brew. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to The Regent Inn we had a fab time. The Regent Inn is easy to locate along Kirkgate. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 11am till 11pm. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Pleasantly surprised went into town early 11.45 to catch a coach not everywhere was open. Definitely a locals pub but was made to feel welcolme. Drinks a good price.
