Toby Carvery in Leeds

Needed an early lunch at 11.30 and popped in. Really nice place and the young lady and gent doing the servery were bright, efficient and welcoming. Wish other places could find such happy staff.

Great food, service, atmosphere and cleanliness.

Went for dinner, quite busy and a few of the veg pots were running low. Only fad tiny yorkshire puds but what we got was lovely. We keep getting surprise offers sent for money off etc and these do tempt us to go often, reasonable prices for a decent meal so we tend to visit quite often now. Visited again tonight, very happy with everything disappointed that the onions in gravy have now finished till next year but everything else lovely. The waiter, Jean-Paul has looked after us quite a few times now and he really is a nice guy, very attentive, caring and dies his job well.

Kiki was an amazing server and was amazing always checking back on us to make sure we were all ok! We highly recommend

My go to for a quick bite to eat. Largest portion sizes ever and at a great price. The food also tastes great and the staff are very welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

Food wasn't as good as previous visits. As a disabled person I was sat far from the carvery making difficult to carry my carvery. Waitress was excellent.

Food is typical for a carvery. Meats were cooked perfectly however the veg seemed like it had been out a little long ( we ate at 3.45pm) the service was good and staff are helpful and friendly. And helped explain about the kids menu and extra items we could get

Met by a smiling pleasant Rich the manager and shown to our cosy window seat,Alison served our drinks and was very attentive. Steve the carver gave me perfect slices of juicy meat.

We are regular visitors to this carvery, food is always fresh,hot and really enjoyable, they also have special offers from time to time.Well worth a visit.

They had the most delicious lamb and you don't have to pay per Yorkshire Pudding like you do in some other places. You can go up as many times as you want for veg. The plates are a generous size and the potatos looked perfectly crisp but we're a bit too solid. As it was a carvery the servers giving you the meat was pleasant and quick but patient with my autistic son when he was overwhelmed with choice. We did feel a bit tricked as we had a 25% off voucher but found out it wasn't valid on Sundays giving us a bill of nearly £70. I know you should always read the terms and conditions and we only visited as a split of the moment thing but I wonder how many other customers have fallen into the same trap? The waiter was polite but we had to do our own drinks they didn't check on us during our meal and were impatient when we encountered the voucher issue. Atmosphere was nice but we were sat behind a machine in a roped off area which looked like it still should be part of the bar area and was squashed in. A nice place but not somewhere we will be able to visit often.

Came to Leeds to visit my sister and just before I went back we wanted one little last meal before I left and the food here was amazing, the staff were so welcoming and friendly and our server was J Paul, he was so sweet. Thank you for a lovely night!!

Ran out of meat, no stuffing, only veg with potato side, no mac and cheese, server purposely waited till after 9 to ask if we wanted everything so wouldn’t serve dessert. Do better. Very disappointed.

Informed Waiter of cold vegetables wasn't offered to be heated up or a fresh plates. complain again about the pudding that the custard was completely cold on this occasion. He took it back to the kitchen for the poor food which we completed about before we had empty plate no discount or apologise

Arrived at venue to be greeted by pleasant staff and shown to our table. Service was quick and very professional though out our visit.

Nice big carvery, very busy when we went midweek, although it was peak time. Lack of greens for the veg which was the only let down, all they had was peas. Other than that, all good, would visit this carvery again.

All the food was cold. Roast potatoes were rock hard also the Yorkshire pudding were rock hard and both were inedible. I won’t be ordering from here again, very disappointed.

Always such a lovely experience. Nyla the carver was super attentive had a lovely conversation with her. Our server Emily was super nice had a nice smile and nothing was a problem at all. Such a nice atmosphere chilled no rush to move a great place to come eat. Highly recommended. You are all amazing 👏

Well we didn't even get to the dinner part! Told us there was no food left as we were commuting over. I now 5 hungry children needing feeding and only one set of hands. I'm devastated to say the least, and im so upset i don't have a warm roast in my belly!

Went on Sunday 30th for my wife's 70 th with family was not impressed with the amount of meat given disgrace tbh for the price we payed the guy at the meat counter could have not cut it any thinner will not be going back not worth the expense rip off

Great service as always, very speedy and got to enjoy our food right away, even if all the food wasn’t available right when we went up to get ours, there was still plenty to enjoy and is always delicious, always going back, absolute steal for what you get, can never go wrong, and lovely staff too, helping any way you need and great to chat with. The box of food had loads of stuffing in (which I didn’t order), there was no gravy anywhere (which I did order) and there was no cake (which I ordered)! I had to have a dry roast dinner with no dessert, and the food that did arrive was covered in stuffing which I don’t like. Please refund me.

Absolutely fantastic service. We come here on a regular basis for our Nurses Hub meetings, the food is absolutely perfect. We was looked after by Emily all, who is lovely. Took all our orders, and food was brought out piping hot and delicious. The wraps are our favourites and we always look forward to coming here for our meetings so we can enjoy the Carvery wraps which were made by Kris. They were so big we had to bring half home. The carvery was amazing and Nyla who served the carvery was lovely. We always look forward to come here. Thank You-to you all

The roast potatoes were dry, cold and hard. The rest of the buffet including the meat looked to have been out a while and didn't look great.

Neil was very welcoming and got us seated earlier than our booking. Great choice of meat and veg, all served hot and cooked to perfectly and carved by Ryan. Jean Paul was a super courteous server and went over and above

Classic Roast Dinner, currently on a ketogenic diet and this worked perfectly although extremely difficult not to get a Yorkshire pudding

The food was cold! unfortunately we had begun to plate up before realising. The food was not delivered in an insulated bag and the driver sat in his car for at least 5 minutes before handing the food over. There was no cheese on the cauliflower and the peas were like bullets. The roast potatoes were inedible. The meat itself with the exception of the beef was very nice , if cold! The beef was very fatty. All in all it was an expensive experiment that will not be repeated

Took my parents for a Friday lunchtime roast. We got a warm welcome, were seated conveniently (my leg was in a pot). Drinks orders were taken and the Guinness was fab. The food and service from the carvery were brilliant, took a while as they were so busy dealing with takeout orders too, but worth the wait. Good value for money, plenty of parking outside. Thanks, we’ll be back again soon.

Plenty of Yorkshire Puddings - they are large and fresh. Enjoyed our time here. Plenty of vegetables to choose from too. Quiet environment at the time we went. Loved the customer service too.

So the food wasn't the best tonight. Turkey was not ready and some my party only eat Turkey, so had to try Beef but that was very tough and fatty. The roast potatoes were very hard. And the yorkshire were a bit over cooked.However our server Katie was fabulous, she spoke to her manager and we got some free deserts. Thanks to Daniel, for the deserts and Ryan for the food served.

Amazing place we turned up with umpteen teenagers on spec, no reservation for a celebration GCSE results breakfast 15 minutes before breakfast finished. The staff didn't blink an eye and made sure we had everything we needed (including for those who eventually joined us at 10:55!) We all had more than we could possibly eat and drink and it made a perfect end to GCSE results morning. Thank you to everyone working there this morning. Incredible service. Highly recommend.

The service was out of my expectation. It was my first time to Toby Carvery and I didn’t know the setting was kind of a semi-buffet. Special thanks to server Uahe who was attentive and kind to explain the details for us. Carver Ryan was also friendly and introduced us the meat options in a nice way. Food was delicious and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ive been having breakfast here on a Saturday for a few months now, thanks Dan, Ross C and Ross W for excellent food and service every time.

It was a tragedy that i can only describe as a scam i feel cheated and i feel like i did not get my money wroth.i am warning you to under no circumstances order the breakfast surprise box because the food is cold and small and just is not worth our hard earned money.I am tempted to go back just to demand my deserved refund.

Yorkshire puddings cooked to long was really hard all 3 of us left them. We told the person who came to check that everything was ok, all they said was oh ok

I have been quietly going here for about 8 years,.. its a hidden gem,.. It's unassuming, but the staff are very friendly, professional and attentive. It has a great mixed customer base of individuals, families, local employees and friends,.. all day long. You can get a good home made cup of coffee and decent breakfast from 08:00. Pubs are shutting across the country, so it makes sense to me to support local long lived establishments like the "Queens" as it was,..especially where it is true that they working really hard to provide a real social and economic service by providing a social hub, food and drink all day at prices that are a lot cheaper than other types of cafe, restaurants and pubs in the area... its also a little quiet haven with a vast garden and yard at the rear which is a great place to gather your thoughts,. do your own thing or enjoy with family and friends. After 8 years I can honestly say that everyone is welcome and there is never a reason not to pop in. If you are not using the Queens you are missing the point ;)

First time coming here for a carvery but it certainly won't be my last. 2 adults 2 kids. Front of house very welcoming and couldn't do enough to please. Food was amazing and a variety of different things to try. The different roast potatoes was a bonus. The chefs on today were very polite and they actually chatted with customers that's always a bonus. Thoughrally enjoyed the day give yourselves a pat on the back for a job well done. Booked a table for 2pm today, we were seated quickly, no queue for for the food. The young lady behind the Carvery was very helpful, I have very serious dairy and egg allergies and everything was checked out for me. The food was beautiful and service was excellent. We will definitely go back. Well done everyone
