Steep.steps, but I'm sure if you couldn't get in due to mobility reason's I'm sure they would accommodate yo. You may be ring if you need your fish and chip, bringing out if you have mobility needs

Amazing fish & chips. Curry sauce is awesome! I usually get a fish butty from here, but the chips are the best I’ve tasted in Halifax.

Fish & chips were cooked to perfection . Great portion size ,very reasonable prices . staff very friendly . Only downside is that it’s cash only , which is a big inconvenience really. Hopefully they can get updated and brought into the 21st century .

The fish and chips are really nice no worries there but at leas 3 of the times this year my husband has been charged for a fish we didn't receive and 2 of thef times we were charged for them I'm disabled so carnt go back myself and my husband hates complaining he gives thef a list but said they were l busy talking about Christmas so we not going again but just make sure you double check your order as I'm out over a tenner this year but the fish when u get it is loverly and crispy and the chips are really nice

tried it twice -fish is swimming in fat and chips are dry and appear pre-cooked and warmed up and the man serving on is miserable

We don't eat fish and chips that often. But when we do it's always going to be brackenbed. Crispy fish and nicely cooked.chips

Litterally just had the most disgusting oily, greasy chips,

Been using this fish shop for years, however over the past 12 months seems to have gone down hill. Yesterday ordered 2 fish and peas, fish were small and hardly got any peas. Don't think we would go back.

Chips great one week. Very bad the next week.

Lovely fish and chips, but I struggle with the steps.

They are inconsistent.. I've been 3 times, 1st time chips were OK, 2nd time chips were brilliant but today the chips were too greasy and not very paletable. Won't be going back. Will stick with favourite chippy 8 miles away.. Rather than this one below a mile from home.

Decent fish&chips BUT! Cooked in oil not dripping! What a shame!

The chips were soggy and fish was also soggy. Small fish considering the price of £9.30. The curry sauce was so watering and cold. The worst I ever has from there tonight.

Called in on passing and it was the best fish I've had in a long time, I will be back when in the area.

They cook the fish just right...never full of grease...I feel they are cooked in oil...just perfect..chips also..I go there once or twice a week if I'm in that area...a fish buttie ...perfect!

If I’d have seen the fish I was getting, I would have asked for my money back , used to be a great chippy, must have changed ownership, won’t be going back!

Can not bleave the state of our meal luck warm very greesy chips the fish had soft soggy batter the curry had got so thick and the whole meal was Luke warm I have never had it so bad from this fish chip shop must of changed hands very unorganised service I will never go again

Staff are always busy here. Queue is always out of the door on Friday teatime

Phone in to order and collect in the effort for a quick service. In response it was a pointless exercise and I still waited in a lengthy que. It is apparent there is no procedure in place to make this service effective. Staff are very rude and impolite clearly not enjoying there job. Furthermore whilst waiting , I noticed a staff members not wearing protective gear/ hair nets ECT. Then Cough into the saucepan. With both hands vacant she wasn’t able to catch the fall out. Instead it landed onto the food and work space. To this point I left the premises and for this reason would never return. Unless they implement the appropriate PPE gear.

EVERYTIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😡 without a doubt I never EVER get what I order to the point of total frustration so tonight I was one step ahead or so I thought they either don’t stamp my card or I ask for bits don’t get them and tonight I watched them and thought I’d cracked it I asked for a large portion of mushy peas got home and it was curry sauce really if it happened occasionally I can accept it but I’m very disappointed I have monitored now over a period of weeks they chat to you all nice and interested but they are all about saving money and carefully ripping off the customer SHAME FULL I will not ever leave without checking by bag last week no buts the week before one portion of chips 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

The food is lovely, probably one of the best fish and chip shops I’ve had but the service is poor. The call and collect also isn’t sufficient. It doesn’t work, you ring and order and end up waiting 20 minutes for the food anyway. As said on the phone, that it should have been ready when we got there, to collect it, 10 minutes (as she said it would take that long) after we rang. Don’t have the service if it doesn’t work.

Ok I will start off with saying it is good food every time.But they need to play catch up to other fish shops across the UK for example skippers in Halifax town fish shops in seaside resorts like Scarborough and Blackpool just to name a They take card payments I mean come on even buses take card payments so they need to start catering more for their customers like others already have done if your hellbilly you may not want to carry cash around with you and a card would be an easier option how many people it would actually play contactless like that would be quite a lot even chip and pin local shops do it now so to be sarcastic hello its 2019 coming to the 21st century

OK they are good quality food guaranteed. They need to come into the 21st you may ask yourself why well it is simple at Pearsons fish shop in town and other fish shops in the UK even in Scarborough and More they take card payments even contactlessly now so I do not like carrying cash and if you're old like me then you will be not so please if you would have to draw money out in this day and age with not been 100-percent safe especially if you're an elderly person cards are a lot easier to carry and a lot less a lot more discreet simply to finish get with it guys it's 2019

Paid for the food and parts of it were missing, hate it when things like this happen!! Just check your order before you leave

Not bad chips need to be cooked longer, but that's my personal preference
